Scam company and service
We had boiler broken. The insurance company sent Vaillant to do the repair.
The engineer came without any clue on repair needed. He then told us I can't fixed as a manager authorisation is needed to complete the repair!. He left without doing anything. now after 10 days we have no heating and no hot water in very coldy weather.

I have had superb support and help from Mr George Lightbody, Regional Manager. His professional care has been second to none. I have had ongoing boiler issues and he has always been there for me at the end of a phone line to offer advice.
Appalling lack of customer service.
2 year old Glowworm boiler broke down 3 weeks ago.Told engineer would come on 29th, no time given.
so I cancelled everything to be in. He arrived at 4.55!
New part needed. New Appointment given for today, no time slot. Called this AM after 10 min wait was told i had been cancelled. Not by me and not informed of this. New appointment made for today as there was availability. Stayed in all day. Called again at 4 but was told engineer had cancelled. Not informed of this. Another day wasted. Interesting to see if new appointment next Wed 18th will be another wasted day?

This is the worst customer service I have ever received. If you call no one will answer, when you do get through to someone they are unhelpful and rude. If you are looking for a new boiler, do not use Vaillant! Seriously, DO NOT USE VAILLANT!!

Customer service is shockingly bad
Customer service is shockingly bad. Takes a long time to get a through, I was then cut off and had to wait another 10 minutes to speak to someone else. Offered me a boiler service the following week but I was not available, next date they had was 3 months away. I suspect appointments are being held for customers who have paid for an expensive maintenance plan so I am taking my business elsewhere. If I ever need to replace my boiler it will not be one made by Vaillant due to the terrible aftercare

this company are absolutely awful
this company are absolutely awful, we had a brand new all singing all dancing eco tec 635 boiler fitted, but from the word go, there have been huge banging and crashing coming from it, shaking the whole house and absolutely terrifying when it first happened at 03.00, countless Vaillant engineers visits (most of which are disengenous to say the least, and all blaming the installation engineer for what is causing the explosive ignition!!!! if not one thing then another, the installation is 100% correct, parts have been changed here and there but no change, there is no way to speak to anyone at Vaillant about this, automated system.... it all started in March 2024 and is still going on..... with nothing at all being resolved
Worst customer service ever!
Tried to speak to someone regarding getting my boiler serviced, you cannot actually speak to anyone, all the lines are automated, I needed to ask if the engineer could call me half a hour before attending or give me an ETA as I don’t currently live at the property it’s a building site, with no power, toilet, furniture, I’m expected to stay there for a 6 hour window (PM - 12-1800) it’s a joke!
Good Products, Dreadful Support
Although the products are well made, woe betide if you have any issues with them or their 'approved' installers. We have a Vaillant Air Source Heat Pump which, according to their latest service engineer's visit, was not installed correctly. Despite the installer being listed on their own website as a 'Renewables Partner', and proudly displaying 'Vaillant Accredited Installer' and 'Vaillant Approved Installer' on his website and vehicles, neither he, nor they, will take responsibility for the issues and put them right. During a call to the Vaillant helpline their operative described accreditation as being 'like wearing your favourite team's football shirt'!! I am still awaiting their latest response so this review may need updating if anything changes...

I am absolutely appalled at the way…
I am absolutely appalled at the way this company is treating my 84 year old mother . She had a boiler fitted with the company 2 years ago . After 2:weeks we noticed the pressure on the water kept going down . Engineers have come out and simply raised the pressure . They are saying that the pipe underneath the boiler is nothing to do with the boiler itself . How can this be. They fitted the boiler for quite a few thousand pounds so they obviously fitted it wrong . They simply won’t do it for my mother as it’s not inside the boiler but he pipe . It’s quite obvious that they cut corners when they fitted the boiler for a large amount of money . Just not on . The pipe is coming from the boiler and it’s leaking . It would be far better and more cost effective that they repair the pipe rather than we get someone out all the time . And to top it all they ave now decided to charge my mother £98 for the call out 5is morning because the pipe is outside the boiler. If you take the pipe away from the boiler the boiler will not work so why isn’t this pipe under the same warranty as the boiler itself . Shame on them all . They simply do not care

Three year old boiler broken down twice and damaged and water damaged my worktop
Had a brand new boiler and system put in 3 years ago. Had the annual services required to honour the warranty and for the second time in three years the boiler has broken down. The second diverter valve in three years and I was very sure a leak was coming from boiler a year ago. I was ensured by yiur engineer that it wasn’t. Lo and behold a year later it happens again and it took two visits to sort the problem. Made a complaint to customer service and no response. As a result of having problems with a previous boiler and so called inferior make and model I invested in a valliant. It’s been nothing but trouble and I wound t recommend. A quality boiler breaks three times in two years? I have to call three times and waste two days off work to sort a problem? As a result my worktop is damaged from constant water dripping. I was informed that if the water quality of my system was ooor that valliant does not take responsibility for the damage. Such nonsense and another way to get out of sorting tbe problem. You pay the value of the boiler n annual services and when something goes wrong they find a way to put the cause back on you so called high quality Getman engineering? I don’t think so. Plus a customer service line that you have to pay for and wait for 30 mins to speak to someone.

Due to my limited knowledge with boilers I call I. 2022 to report the boiler not working turns out it was a thermostat problem which I was unaware of.. upshot company refusing to attend again unless I pay the £98 charge “just in case “ then they throw in my warranty is invalid as I didn’t get a service through the pandemic. Absolute appalling customer service and staff, senior management aren’t much better either

Vaillant Gasheizung / Lagerschaden am Gebläse. Telefon an den Kundendienst mit der entsprechenden Meldung des schadhaften Elements. Frage vom Kundendienst: 'Was ist ein Gebläse ?' Am gleichen Tag kam der 'Techniker' in Trainerhosen um festzustellen dass das Gebläse einen Lagerschaden hat, und dies nachdem er mich angerufen hat und meine Adresse verlangte. Das Büro hat sie ihm nicht geschickt... Er versprach innerhalb von max. drei Tagen das Teil zu wechseln. Jetzt sind 8 Tage vergangen und ich habe keinen Ton mehr von Vaillant gehört, und das mit einem Wartungsvertrag. Das ist eine Zumutung für den Kunden.
Liebe Vaillant-Leute, vielleicht solltet ihr mehr in die Mitarbeiterschulung investieren statt in Werbung.

Und es sind schon wieder 24 Stunden seit der Antwort von Vaillant CH vergangen und passiert ist nichts.
Endlich kommt ein Kerl nach tel. Voranmeldung, versprochen hat er Freitag 16:00 Uhr und gekommen ist er 18:00 Uhr. Schon der erste Eindruck zeigt mir: der Typ hat nicht viel Ahnung.
Seine erste Frage: 'Macht das Teil Lärm ? ' Nein, natürlich nicht - darum wechseln wir es ja.
Er fängt an und schraubt am Gebläse und den Anbauteilen in der Waschküche am Boden, wie in der Steinzeit, obwohl nebenan in meiner Werkstatt eine beleuchtete Werkbank steht. Ich verfrachtete ihn an meine Werkbank, wo er versucht mit seinem Kinderwerkzeug festsitzende Schrauben zu lösen. Nach 'zig Versuchen gelingt es ihm und irgendwann setzt er alles zusammen und nimmt die Heizung wieder in Betrieb.
Zum Mitarbeiter des Monats reicht es diesmal nicht.
Ich habe das Gefühl bei Vaillant arbeiten immer mehr nur 'ungelernte Fachkräfte'.
Einen positiven Punkt hat diese Firma: die Rechnung schreiben sie 'ruck-zuck'. Das haben sie drauf.
Einmal mehr: das Wichtigste ist nicht der Kunde, sondern sein Geld.

Did not arrive at an appointment, would not concede their fault when it was entirely their systems that mucked up. Terrible customer services. I advise you simply use a reputable alternative.
