Am 10.6.22 wurde bei uns eine neue Wärmepumpe Vaillant aroTherm installiert. Von diesem Tag bis zum 5.9.23 hatten wir 3 x Kommunikationsfehler. Das bedeutet, dass die WP innerhalb dieser Zeit 3 x nicht mehr funktioniert. Bis dann nach ein paar Tagen der Kundendienst kommt, friert man und muss kalt duschen. Und dass, obwohl man viel Geld ausgegeben und angenommen hat, man kauft ein zuverlässigen Markenprodukt.
Übriges war es immer der gleiche Fehler, nämlich eine fehlerhafte Platine in der Außeneinheit.
Für mich steht fest: Vaillant hat nichts mit Zuverlässigkeit zu tun!
Overcharging
Online booking service not working, so I raised this with customer services. After 5 days my son rings to book it. When he told me the price I said that he has been over charged. Find out they charge me for being in London even though I am not.
Customer services offer to refund the difference on this occasion. No mention that they are overcharging. Then finish of the email stating I am free to do somewhere else next time. Awful customer service!
Boileröffnung
Die Firma hat im Dezember 2019 einen BoilerVIH R200/6BR installiert, der nicht mehr mechanisch entkalkt werden kann, die Öffnung liegt direkt vor den Wärmeschlaufen.
Die chemische Entkalkung ist viel teurer und kostet fast gleich viel wie eine Entkalkungsanlage. Nach Ansicht von Kalk Ex der Firma, die Boiler entkalkt, handelt es sich um einen Konstruktiuonsfehler, den wir erst jetzt 4.7. 23 entdeckt haben.
Vaillant beruft sich auf ihre internationale Tätigkeit und meint sie verkaufen diese Boiler überall.
Wir wurden von Vaillant nicht informiert.
nicht amortisiert, total unwirtschaftlich
Ich betreibe seit 13.01.2013, also genau 10 Jahre, ein Vaillant ecoPOWER 1.0 BHKW (eine Kraft-Wärme gekoppelte 2,5kW Gas-Heizung mit 1.0kW gekoppelter Stromerzeugung).
Die Grundidee ist gut, man kann das Erdgas, vor der Verbrennung, noch Arbeit verrichten lassen, um neben der 2,5kW Heizung, noch 1kW el. Energie zu erzeugen.
Die damalige Beratung von Vaillant war so überzeugend, selbst erzeugte Energie effizient nutzen zu können, dass wir uns zur Installation entschlossen haben, zumal Solarzellen auf unserem Hausdach sinnlos waren, nur Schatten von Nachbars Bäumen. Die Rechnung lautete Ihr habt einen Verbrauch von 16kWh täglich und produziert 24kWh täglich, also immer alles im grünen Bereich.
Pferdefuß an der Sache, 1kW ist für den Graustrom (alles an Stand-by Energien etc.) und für viele Geräte (TV, Radio, Rechner etc.) zu viel Energie, also der Rest wandert ungenutzt ins Netz und für große Verbraucher (Herd, Wasserkocher, Spülmaschine etc. oder der gleichzeitige Betrieb zweier Verbraucher, wo 2, 4, 6kW zusammen kommen, zu wenig Energie und man kauft teuren Strom dazu.
Bei uns war es ein 50/50 Missverhältnis, viel mehr kWh produziert, als benötigt und noch 50% dazu gekauft!
Weiterer Minuspunkt, den man im Vorfeld unerwähnt ließ, man wird automatisch zum Stromproduzenten, also eine Firma und braucht einen Steuerberater und einen Wartungsvertrag, beides kostet mehr als man an Einspeisevergütung vom Netzbetreiber vergütet bekommt.
Über diese 10Jahre Betriebszeit bekam man, als BHKW Betreiber, eine staatliche Förderung zur Vergütung dazu, mit der man aber lediglich 50% Amortisation für sich verbuchen konnte und diese Förderung ist nun abgelaufen.
Der Weiterbetrieb eines des BHKW ist aber zwingend notwendig, denn 50% Amortisation sind noch offen, das gelingt ohne Förderung nicht mehr, da die Erzeugung einer kWh doppelten soviel kostet, wie die Vergütung der eingespeisten kWh einbringt.
Weiterer gravierender Nachteil dieses Vaillant BHKW´s, der Betrieb ist nur direkt am Stromnetz möglich, d.h. sowie das BHKW zur Heizung oder Warmwasser Bereitung eingeschaltet wird, entweichen die nicht selbst genutzten kWh, erzeugt über Erdgas für z.Z. 15Cent/kWh, ins Netz und man bekommt etwa 6,5Cent/kWh Vergütung dafür, wahrlich ein gutes Geschäft.
Vaillant mit diesem Missverhältnis konfrontiert und um Umbauhilfe oder technischen Support gebeten, z.B. in Richtung Direktauskoppelung der erzeugten kW, um diese z.B. in einem Akku zu speichern und nicht ans Netz zu verschleudern, wurde diskussionslos Abgewimmelt, man verstehe mein Problem, aber an so etwas beteilige man sich nicht, kein technischer Support, keine Idee, keine Unterlagen, obwohl Vaillant diese technische Sparte Kraft-Wärmekopplung aufgegeben hat, offenbar ist ein Inselbetrieb, lobbyistisch, nicht gewollt.
Nun steht man da, mit so einer teuren Fehlentwicklung und wird von Politik und Wirtschaft, nach 10 Jahren, mit dem Ergebnis allein gelassen!

Muy mal por parte de Vaillant
Muy mal por parte de Vaillant, no recomiendo para nada esta empresa, resulta que por un ruido que hace el calentador vienen y comprueban que es cosa de el regulador , han estado solo 20 mitos nada mas y me han cobrado 77 euros por no hacer absolutamente nada , el calentador solo tiene tres meses , no volvere a comprar uno de estos, mal el servicio tecnico.
Abysmal customer service
I can only agree with all the negative reviews about Vaillant's so called 'customer care'. Almost impossible to contact the company, correspondence 'lost', emails never replied to, and call centre staff rude, dismissive and obstructive. Like other customers, I have been unable to make a warranty claim for a faulty and sub-standard product. My issue has been ongoing since December 2022. Avoid like the plague!

Andy from Vaillant was the most thorough engineer we have ever had. Called Vaillant at 8.00am and was seen the same day. Unfortunately the parts to fix our boiler were not in stock but were ordered and fitted within a couple of days. Excellent service from Andy and Vaillant. Thankyou

Tengo un calentador de agua Vaillant aquí en Lanzarote que compré nuevo. Ok, uno pensaría que Vaillant es una empresa muy respetada y que cualquier problema futuro se resolvería sin problemas. ¡Equivocado!
Este es el primer problema que tengo y el calentador no ha funcionado durante las últimas 3 semanas. Me puse en contacto con el ingeniero de Vaillant aquí en Lanzarote o creo que es el ingeniero. Ahora estoy pensando diferente. Esperé dos días y vino y dijo que necesitaba una pequeña parte. Esto sería alrededor de 15 días!! Ahora he esperado 3 semanas y él no responde a mis llamadas telefónicas. Me puse en contacto con Vaillant para ver si podían ayudar. Después de una respuesta inicial, ahora no obtengo nada de ellos, incluso cuando les envío un mensaje. Incluso le pedí a Vaillant que me enviara la parte que pagaré, pero no recibí respuesta. Para que pueda ver con qué tipo de empresa estará tratando si compra alguno de los productos que venden. No tienen respaldo para los clientes y mucho menos en Canarias. Recomiendo encarecidamente que se mantenga alejado de esta empresa. Ahora tengo un calentador de agua que tengo que desechar solo por una pequeña pieza.
Less than 2 years old, 8o year old is freezing, Vaillant is Ebenezer Scrooge
Less than 2 years old, and broke down. Guaranteed but can't send an engineer until a week later. Kept waiting for 25 minutes on phone, cut off first time. If I call someone else to fix the boiler the guarantee is invalid, so we have to allow an 80 year to freeze over Christmas. Vaillant is Ebenezer Scrooge
Terrible Service
Shockingly bad warranty service. Impossible to get through on phone line (currently been 'in the queue for over 40 mins, no idea how long the wait will be).
Have been left with a boiler deemed unsafe for last 5 days after the guy sent to service it noted an issue. Second guy turned up 4 days later, but didn't know why he was here. Noted the issue and tried to call his own head office to discuss with them and even he couldn't get anyone to answer the phone in the 35 mins he was here! Now arguing with them about conducting the repair under warranty. Avoid Vaillant like the plague. Absolutely the worst company to deal with.

Awful company. Avoid. Had an issue with a boiler that was 8 months old which is still in warranty. Called the helpline and waited 5 hours to get to the front of the queue only for them to hangup ! It's diabolical. Fixed it myself in the end with the help of Google. I honestly expected more considering they have been around for decades. You would think they would spend that time wisely and create a better contact centre.

Had no heating for 12 days
Had no heating now for 12 days , My usual gas ifitter ordered parts from them, they sent the wrong parts (order showed correct parts oredered), he suggested going to them direct for one off repair as they carry all the parts and will not have an issue in supply. Stated that parking is difficult but there is parking nearby when booking. Fitter arrived and refused to walk any distance or park outside the house on path - even offered to fetch and carry for him , but he refused. Called Customer Service to ask what they can do and was simply told here is your money back we are not coming out. I dread to think if I lived on the 20th floor of a tower block!!!!!. Really not happy with the service from such a major manufacturer.

I have booked the standard repair of 299 incl Vat as it looked like a good deal. The engineer turned up stated he cannot climb a ladder due to H&S to inspect and change the expansion vessel, spent 3 minutes on site and charged £99 for no work done! I wouldn’t recommend this company and I am sorry I didn’t read these reviews before!
After care is pants
After care is pants! Had a fault with Valliant Eco boiler. Spent 90mins in queue to speak to service staff. Got appointment to repair in 4 days. In meantime googled found could fix myself and did so! But trying to cancel appointment equally as difficult no dedicated way forced into more than hour of holding again. V v bad after sales and these boilers are pricey.

i have a valliant boiler ( Eco Tec plus 624) , this boiler keeps having a flow switch fault , roughly every two years , i have just spent forty minutes trying to get through to customer services , still no joy , its - 3 degrees outside we have no heating or hot water , i will never buy from this company again.
Engineer didn’t do his job
Had an engineer attending for annual maintenance. Boiler worked perfectly, but the guy left the boiler with 0 pressure, no heating, no hot water. Impossible to reach the company after that. We had to call another company to get advice on how to fix the problem. Avoid Vaillant!!!
Worst company I’ve ever dealt with…
Worst company I’ve ever dealt with spent over 1 hour on hold only to be told my boiler was not registered which is was After another 15 mins on hold they finally found my details I have no hot water or heating a baby In the house and my elderly mother who is now living with us only to be told that the next available appointment is in three days. First time I have tried to use the warranty.
