The Velamont suitcases have definitely changed my travel experience in a postive way. I have the Atlas carry on as well as the large check-in case in black. They are lightweight and stylish and I enjoy the compliments I get about my luggage. They come with high quality luggage tags to choose from, in green and orange. I travel frequently for work and am very happy with the quality and durability. I genuinely recommend Velamont to anyone looking to upgrade their luggage.

I have both the small and large Velamont suitcases and am extremely happy with them. The design is especially impressive: elegant, modern, and distinctive. I actually get asked quite often at airports what brand my suitcase is, which says a lot about how much they stand out!

Ich habe mir den Aluminiumkoffer von Velamont vor ein paar Wochen gekauft und mittlerweile auch schon auf zwei Reisen benutzt. Der Preis von rund 450 € ist natürlich erstmal kein Schnapper, deswegen habe ich vorher lange überlegt. Ich wollte aber bewusst mal einen hochwertigen Koffer und keinen von den üblichen Kunststoffteilen.

Der erste Eindruck war wirklich sehr gut. Der Koffer ist komplett aus Aluminium und wirkt extrem stabil. Die Verarbeitung ist sauber, nichts klappert oder wirkt billig. Besonders gefallen mir die Details – die Embleme und auch die Leder-Batches mit dem Velamont-Schriftzug machen optisch schon was her. Er erinnert vom Aufbau her ein bisschen an die bekannten Aluminiumkoffer, die man oft auf Flughäfen sieht.

Was mir im Alltag aufgefallen ist: Die zwei Schalen lassen sich angenehm packen und man hat eine gute Übersicht über den Inhalt. Die Verschlüsse wirken hochwertig und schließen sauber. Rollen laufen ruhig und auch voll beladen lässt sich der Koffer gut ziehen.

Natürlich ist ein Aluminiumkoffer etwas schwerer als ein normaler Kunststoffkoffer, aber das wusste ich vorher und nehme das für die Stabilität gerne in Kauf. Dafür fühlt sich das Ganze deutlich robuster an und ich habe das Gefühl, dass der Koffer viele Jahre halten wird.

Unterm Strich bin ich wirklich zufrieden mit dem Kauf. Für Leute, die viel reisen oder einfach Wert auf Qualität und ein etwas edleres Design legen, kann ich den Velamont-Koffer definitiv empfehlen. Preislich im oberen Bereich, aber dafür bekommt man auch entsprechend Qualität.

I have gotten the Lite 20’’ and the Atlas 29’’, both in black and they are so pretty. I travel a lot because of my sport and they’re super easy to roll around the airport and extremely light too. The material is great and it also comes with name badges which you can attach to the suitcases!
