Combative, unhelpful enquiries staff ( Sheffield)
Crew staff constantly placing emptied bins elsewhere, obstructing driveways and pedestrians. Unempathetic about customers needs. Take details for assisted collection that do not reach SCC. 5 years of constant issues with Veolia, Rather than combative behaviour they should be ready to help the customer, after all without us they would'nt be in employment.

As a follow up to my original review, I have contacted the email address provided in this company’s reply, and despite providing all the details to the issue, I have received no answer or acknowledgment of my email. Makes me think the purpose of their replies to the reviews on Trustpilot is just to create the perception that they’re doing the right thing.
Continual problems, no resolution
Continual problems with multi-site operations. Two cases raised with Customer support team, no acknowledgement or response.

I contacted Veolia UK for an issue which was very quickly resolved by the customer service advisor. The agent was very polite, offered excellent customer service and care and was extremely helpful. I would highly recommend Veolia UK ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This company is not trustworthy
This company is not trustworthy and has repeatedly failed to deliver the service promised. I booked and paid for an extra bin collection, which their customer service team confirmed. However, no one came to collect the bins.
This has happened multiple times over the past year, and it is extremely frustrating. I find it unacceptable that a company can continue operating with such poor and unreliable customer service.

I recently lost my phone on the street
I recently lost my phone on the street on Wednesday night, and what happened next genuinely restored my faith in people.
A gentleman named Klevis, who works with Veolia at the Norman Park Yard for Hammersmith & Fulham Council, found my phone, contacted my emergency contact, and then personally drove 30 minutes to return it to me. When I offered to compensate him for his time and effort, he politely refused.
This level of honesty and kindness is incredibly rare, and I cannot thank him enough for going out of his way to help a complete stranger. Veolia should be proud to have someone like Klevis representing them.
Truly outstanding service and an even better human being.

Disappointing customer service.
I have been using them for 4 years for hot water and heating and despite being very expensive, there was no apparent issue with their service. however....
My experience in the last two years with Veolia has been extremely disappointing.
For nearly two years, I reported that the hot water in my shower was not working properly. Because the issue appeared to affect only one tap, Veolia repeatedly dismissed it as “not their responsibility” and refused to investigate further.
During this time, I was left without proper hot water and had to try resolving the issue myself. I spent so much money in total attempting to fix the problem.
I also spent a significant amount of time going back and forth via email with no resolution.
What is most concerning is that the issue was only resolved after I was advised by a neighbour to report that all taps were not working. Once I did this, Veolia finally took action, and the problem has now been fixed for the past six months. The engineer was very helpful and managed to fix the issue in a heartbeat while also informing me he had to make the same amendments in other flats in the building.
This raises serious concerns about how customer reports are assessed and handled. I should not have had to misrepresent the issue to receive basic service.
Given that Veolia is effectively the sole provider for my building and charges substantial fees, I expected a far higher standard of customer care.
Veolia has been extremely disappointing…
Veolia has been extremely disappointing to deal with, particularly the Doncaster branch. Communication has been very poor throughout, with calls and messages often going unanswered or not followed up properly. Promises that were made were simply not fulfilled, which has caused unnecessary frustration and inconvenience.
Customer service should be a basic expectation, yet the level of service provided has been far below what any customer should have to accept. A company of this size should be able to manage communication and honour commitments far more reliably.
Overall, the experience has been frustrating and unprofessional, and significant improvements are clearly needed at the Doncaster branch
