Excellent communication from all staff involved throughout the process of purchasing the vehicle, especially Megan. A member of staff (Harvey) met us at the train station to take us to the dealership.
The hand over was smooth and quick, and any questions we had were answered.
Overall, the whole purchasing process experience was excellent.

Last Saturday we picked up a new 350D Defender from Vertu Bolton which we highly recommend.

My initial contract was with Erika who showed me the car and went on a test drive with me and assisted with the purchase. At handover I met Andrew who showed me every detail about the car, he was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful, showing me every feature of the car and made sure I was comfortable before I left. All staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly

Had an excellent experience with our sales executive, Jack Hackley. Jack made the purchase of an approved Velar very easy and quick. We were very well looked after and every effort was made to get the sale done quickly. Would highly recommend and will certainly be returning in future years.

We had a very challenging experience and would not recommend Vertu Land Rover.

On 2nd July 2024, we purchased our vehicle on PCP (3 years old Discovery Sport). Within one month, the air conditioning faults (during hot weather with a dog in the car). “Stop safely. Electrical fault detected” warning appears. Vertu replaced the DCDC convertor under warranty.

On 7th May 2025, the “Stop safely. Electrical fault detected” warning appears again and the car shuts down immediately on the road. It turns out we’d been given the wrong information about the service date (due in December 2024; we were told it was July 2025). During that service, we were billed roughly £2,000 for repairs, despite owning the car for less than a year and having an extended Land Rover warranty.

On 21st May, having been told our car was fixed, the “Stop safely. Electrical fault detected” warning appear as soon as we turn the car on. Vertu offer us a courtesy car as my partner was 8 months pregnant so we required urgent transport. Vertu then ask us to pay a further £400 for more work and say they will remove us from the courtesy car’s insurance if we don’t pay.

On 21st June, we collect the car, having paid for more work. As we get within four minutes of home, the “stop safely. Electrical fault detected” warning reappears. Thankfully, this didn’t happen on the motorway which would have endangered our lives. The AA come out and confirm the problem still exists. Vertu offer us a courtesy car.

Within one week, Vertu state they cannot replicate the fault (as the AA cleared them) and demand we return the courtesy car. Four days later, after we insist Vertu continue to test the car, the car breaks down (again thankfully not on the motorway). Subsequently, Vertu found a loose wiring pin.

A family welcoming their first born is a stressful experience anyway, but Vertu exacerbated that hugely with the misinformation regarding key details, their unsuccessful repairs that put us in an unsafe car and their, at best, lack of empathy for our need for transport.

Had fantastic service from everyone at Landrover Jaguar Bolton Especially Erica that went above and beyond to look after me and would recommend her to anyone. Thank you Erica I’ll be back to see you when I need my next car

No pressure. I was given a price for my old car but decided to sell it privately. It's a lot to take in when you are changing your car but Andrew was very patient, went through everything and gave a really good handover ,

I had to take my car in for a recall. The service was second to none, the best I have ever received from a dealership and I have had a few different types of cars. Danny sorted us out from start to finish. He even left me a little gift in my seat when I collected the car which I thought was an extra special touch from the dealership. The whole staff were polite offering me cups of coffee whilst I was waiting. I will be using the dealership for all future needs of my car going forward.

Jack was fabulous, very helpful and informative with our options. Despite a slight issue with the admin, Simon stepped in and was equally helpful and flexible to ensure everything was resolved satisfactorily. Great team, service and would highly recommend.

Call centre booked me in on wrong day.
I only found this out when I called to ensure the dealership would be coming to collect.
Dealership didn’t know whether vehicle was to be serviced…on its’ service visit. They called me to check once they had the car. They tried to over-charge me compared to what I was quoted on the phone. Returned vehicle to me with the ‘service due’ warning still showing every time ignition was turned on. (I specifically asked if this had been sorted before I let them return the car!) They had to collect it again to remedy this on a different day. Manager refused to leave me a car that I could use for that day whilst they corrected their error. Poor customer service and lacking professionalism at every turn.

I’ve had some really disappointing experiences with Land Rover in the past, so I was honestly dreading having to deal with them again. However, my experience this time was completely different thanks to Victoria. From start to finish she was professional, approachable, and genuinely went above and beyond to make sure everything was handled properly.

She kept me updated, explained everything clearly, and made what could have been another stressful experience into a smooth and positive one. Victoria is a real credit to Land Rover, and I’m so grateful for the excellent service I received from her.
