Warm Roof Division have just completed the installation of a Leka roof system and we are very pleased with the result.

The pre-delivery communications were clear and precise, the installation team and sub-contractors (plastering, electrical) polite, professional and faultless.

The job took a couple of days longer than expected which was entirely due to weather as might well be expected in November in the UK, and the team worked around the weather very well. Day 1 when the old roof was removed and the new skeleton structure erected the team worked until the roof was weatherproof before leaving site, which for most people would be the critical concern.

The plastering was to a (fantastic) level I did not expect, considering the inner surface is effectively a half-dome and the basic frame is angular. The result is flawless and reminiscent of domed roofs in southern Europe!

The site was left tidy and the work has entirely transformed the former conservatory.

Recommended without hesitation.

When we first started our building work, I was terrified. It’s such a huge investment, and there’s so much that can go wrong. I spent hours Googling, searching on Facebook, and asking around — but couldn’t find any clear recommendations.

We met with eight different suppliers, and when we came across Warm Roof, I immediately liked them. Still, I hesitated because they were a smaller company. So, I decided to go with Anglian Home instead. Even though I’d read plenty of negative reviews, I assumed a big company would be the safer choice. The sales rep was great on his house visit - but after that, things went downhill fast. Communication was terrible. I waited ages for replies, emails went unanswered, and I couldn’t shake the feeling that if service was this bad before signing, it would be even worse after, especially if I ever had an issue!

That’s when I decided to trust my gut and go with Warm Roof and it turned out to be the best decision I could have made! Every single step of the process was flawless. Shaun was patient and responsive, answering all my (many!) questions. The installation team was fantastic, even making a last-minute change when I changed my mind, something they had every right to refuse. But Shaun went above and beyond to make sure I was completely happy.

And I am! The finished result is absolutely perfect. The difference in the warmth of our house is incredible, far beyond what we expected.

I honestly cannot recommend Warm Roof highly enough. Shaun even has my number if anyone ever wants to confirm my recommendation personally.

From the first visit by Shaun, everything happened on time , delivery , roof installation , first fit electrics , plastering , second fit electrics , general tidy up and rubbish clearance . Every stage of the installation was done very efficiently by a good team of tradesmen .
The new roof has made our conservatory so much warmer and quieter , can use the room in comfort all year now ! .

Warm Roof Division have just finished replacing our glass roof to a solid Leka system. Could not be happier with the result. Every single member of the team is professional, thorough, friendly and just lovely to have on site throughout the project. Thanks to Shaun, Dan, Dave, Jim, Emma and the whole team - the work has entirely changed how we'll use that part of the house and we're delighted.

Project: To replace my existing double glazed glass roof on my 2 year old conservatory with a solid warm roof.
My chosen solution: A Leka warm roof installed by Warm Roof Division. I paid £400 extra to get even thicker insulation than their standard offering.
Post project review:
The good.
The Leka roof system is an excellent choice for a conservatory roof replacement. It is very well insulated, strong and not prone to weather deterioration unlike some competitor systems.
The bad.
1. Before the project started Shaun said that the roof ridge would be slightly higher than the existing roof ridge because I had ordered additional insulation. This turned out not to be the case. The roof ridge was 15cm lower than the original roof. They added a 15cm strip of lead where the ridge met the house and tucked it under the existing flashing, which looks a little odd. This decision should have been discussed first.
2. Before the project started I asked Shaun if the air conditioning ducting would be an issue as it was fairly close to the exiting glass ceiling. He said that it would not. However, as they had dropped the roof ridge height, it was an issue. Their solution was to embed the corner of the ducting into the new ceiling, giving it a decidedly DIY look. This decision should have been discussed first.
3. At the end of the project Dan said they had finished and they were leaving. I suggested a quick walkthrough before they disappeared. I explained that I was unhappy with the dropped ridge height and entombing corner of the air conditioning ducting in the ceiling. I quizzed him over the actual roof materials used and he said that he would investigate and get back to me. The next day Shaun phoned me and said that a mistake had been made and that the roof installed wasn’t as ordered. He said that Dan had picked up the materials from the supplier and did not check them. These materials were then used to build the roof and no validation checks were made. He hoped that didn’t reflect badly on his company. He said it was my call to either have the work done again or take it as is. I agreed with Shaun to leave it as is and they would drop the final payment for goods and services received (8% of contract value).
4. Before the project started Shaun said that one of the guys would adjust the conservatory French doors to open smoothly. Dan also confirmed this at start of project. – It never happened.
5. At the end of project walkthrough I commented that the new gutter down-pipe was not secured properly. Dan said he would get Dave to sort it out. Two weeks after the project was finished, I contacted Dan to remind him of this again. He said Dave would sort it. One month on, it never happened.
6. The project elapsed time moved from 4-5 days to 2 weeks.
7. I had a rusty skip and a loo on my drive for almost a month.
Conclusion: You need visible project management on a building project.
What went wrong with this project? I see 3 possible explanations.
1. This was just a basic scam, I.e. providing goods at a lesser value than you paid.
2. It was a genuine accident at the suppliers and when they realised they thought I would be too stupid to notice.
3. It was a genuine accident at the suppliers and during the build phase, they were too stupid to notice.
I chose to believe scenario 3.
Recommendations:
Would I recommend a Leka warm roof solution? YES.
Would I recommend Warm Roof Division to do the installation? NO.

Shaun was very friendly whilst remaining professional. He was very thorough and gave us brilliant advice on the best construction for our needs. Then the team arrived. The guys were all a delight to have in my home. The quality of the work they carried out was superb, nothing was a problem. They did a really good job of cleaning after the construction. We are very happy with the outcome. We now have a room we can use all year round. The whole process was a very positive experience. Thank you.

Having experienced shoddy builders and suffered nothing but grief from National companies, i was sceptical about Warm Roof Division. I shouldnt have worried, Shaun came out and new exactly what he was talking about. The time frame and processes all explained along with payment schedule. Product delivery was prompt and bang on time and then the magic happened. The fitting team (5) of them attacked my house laying protection on the floors and so courteous to my wife. Absolutely brilliant work . So tidy and brought there own portaloo. So happy with the results. Really has renewed my faith in good old fashioned tradesmen even though they were mainly in their 20`s apart from Dan the site manager who worked like a trojan. If i need anything again regardless of roof or not im calling these guys. So if you sick of rude late and shoddy builders.........try these boys, they are awesome! oh but buy lots of chocolate bickies, they are like locusts. Thank you Shaun and gang . Great work and really nice guys.

These guys are perfectionists! They are such a great team. Everyone is professional, friendly and we are so happy with our new roof. I would not hesitate to recommend Shaun and the guys to anyone.

From start to finish we were very impressed with the design and execution of the project,Shaun has a great honest hard working team who work well with each other and the customers, it was nice to hear them have a good laugh while working. Plus the cleaning up after each day was immaculate, nothing seemed to much for them , we would be recommending this company to whoever we know who wants a new conservatory roof .

Excellent job done. Everything was as I had asked for and the job was completed in just 6 days. The team were friendly and hard working. They cleaned and tidied everything before they left. Everything was well co-ordinated, from the roofers, electrician, plasterers to the skip and portaloo! Had all new windows, doors and a LEKA roof installed to our existing conservatory. We received a personal service from, Shaun and Emma who own and run the business. The installation team were excellent. Our conservatory has been transformed to an all year round room. The fit and finish is first class. I had the conservatory roof replaced, I was very pleased with the standard of work. The men who did the work were friendly, and when they had finished they left it clean and tidy. I would recommend this company.

I've Got nothing but absolute total respect for Shaun, Emma and their family run company. Right from the start when Shaun came from warm roof division to give a quote there was no pushy sales tactics. He explained everything professionaly and was very respectful of my time and left me to have a good think about it. The quote was halfway between local builders and the very top companies. After the job was completed, I'm now soo happy I've got a conservatory roof that not only looks fantastic but will last a long time. It's also cool in the summer and most probably will keep the warmth in the winter. We had a number of quotes to change our 40 year old glass lean to into a tiled Superlite roof extension with sky vista panels and aluminium bifold doors.
From the moment Shaun came out to quote for the project we knew that his was the company we wanted to go with.

The project was started on time by Adam and his team.
