Thank you for choosing webuyanycar.com and for sharing your feedback about your recent mobile buyer appointment. We take your comments very seriously and want to address both of your concerns directly.

First, regarding your license plates: we sincerely apologize. You should not have been told that your plates would be mailed back to you — that is not how our plate return process works and setting that expectation was a miscommunication on our part. There is no excuse, and we are sorry for the time and inconvenience it has caused you, including having to visit the police and take time off work. We are addressing this with our team immediately.

Regarding the difference between the online estimate and your final offer: the online valuation is based on the information provided by the customer. During our professional, in-person appraisal, our team identified several issues that were not reflected in the online disclosure, including:

• Front grille damaged
• Front bumper scratched (multiple areas)
• Rear bumper scratched
• Rear tailgate/trunk lid scratched
• Driver side rear door scratched
• Driver side front door trim damaged
• Check engine light illuminated

Our OBD-II diagnostic scan also revealed one confirmed and permanent fault code:

• P0430 — Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold Bank 2

This code indicates that the catalytic converter on one bank of the engine is not performing within acceptable parameters, which is an emissions-related issue that must be resolved before resale.

We invite all customers to join the appraisal process so they can see what we see and understand how a vehicle's condition affects its valuation.

We have logged a formal complaint on your behalf, and the Area Manager responsible for your region will be reaching out directly to discuss your experience and work toward a resolution.
