The amount quoted was nearly cut in half, so that was disappointing. Also my license plates were left outside my building, not mailed back to me as promised. Now I have to go to the police to pick up my property, and take time off from work to do so.

First, regarding your license plates: we sincerely apologize. You should not have been told that your plates would be mailed back to you — that is not how our plate return process works and setting that expectation was a miscommunication on our part. There is no excuse, and we are sorry for the time and inconvenience it has caused you, including having to visit the police and take time off work. We are addressing this with our team immediately.
Regarding the difference between the online estimate and your final offer: the online valuation is based on the information provided by the customer. During our professional, in-person appraisal, our team identified several issues that were not reflected in the online disclosure, including:
• Front grille damaged
• Front bumper scratched (multiple areas)
• Rear bumper scratched
• Rear tailgate/trunk lid scratched
• Driver side rear door scratched
• Driver side front door trim damaged
• Check engine light illuminated
Our OBD-II diagnostic scan also revealed one confirmed and permanent fault code:
• P0430 — Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold Bank 2
This code indicates that the catalytic converter on one bank of the engine is not performing within acceptable parameters, which is an emissions-related issue that must be resolved before resale.

Pedro is an outstanding agent. He is courteous and very professional. We chose We Buy Any Car because we've sold a car a few months ago and it was a very good experience. I recently sold my car at We buy any Car. I was asked to submitinformation about my car age, model, condition and any dents. The company used my information to develop a quote. I had the option to accept or decline. I accepted and the company sent a truck to pick up my car and hand me a check. It was so simple. I would definitely use this company again.

Excellent customer service, online quote could use work
Sherry was so friendly and helpful, and helped me get my car out of my hands 2 days after Christmas. She gets 5/5 stars!!! Wonderful customer service.
Online, I was offered $3100 as my quote, however unfortunately in person I was offered $1600. I was expecting the actual value to be lower than the estimate, but not half. A large portion of the difference came from the fact that my car had a manual transmission. It would be helpful if this were a question in the survey online and had already taken out that amount, as other online car selling services do. In the future if selling a car I don’t know that I’d use the same service for this reason.
Other than that, the process was extremely quick and painless, with all the necessary documentation processed efficiently and properly.
