Ok… Wenzels are expensive but you get what you pay for. Their club chicken baguettes with bacon and cheese are so delicious. Their bloomer sandwiches are a delight too… no skimping on fillings or dry bread.
Cakes are extremely nice too… my grandson loved the Chocolate cookie cake with ‘eyeball’… I had a pastry and it was lovely and fresh. The pack of jam donuts are Jammie and very moorish…
Wenzels bread is very nice but like all freshly baked bloomers, it needs consuming pretty fast … it won’t last days! It’s very tasty bread though. I had a poppy seeded bloomer… mmmm love the poppy seeds even if they get stuck in your teeth!
Staff in Portsmouth always look happy to serve you! Service is fast and efficient xx love the paper carriers too!

Food from here is always a delight. The bakery is spotless and it’s nice to see where the food is prepared! I love this bakery!!!

I attended a party this weekend where the food, ordered from Wenzels, was extremely disappointing. The spring rolls were unpleasantly chewy, and it seemed like they were devoid of any filling. The pizza slices were somewhat more tolerable, but clearly not baked to the desired standards, evidenced by the cheese melting all over the box, which was unappetizing, especially for catering.

To make matters worse, when I discussed the issue with the party host today, she informed me that Wenzels refused to address the problem unless the food was returned. Unfortunately, the venue organizers had already disposed of the items as they were simply inedible. This experience has left me with a strong impression that we will never consider ordering from Wenzels again, and I cannot recommend their catering services based on this disappointing encounter.

Very disappointed with my last two trips, brought a Sausage roll from the Maidenhead branch and it was burnt and cold and a bacon roll from another branch which the roll was stale and the bacon was cold.. Will not be returning...

Too busy making cups of coffee to serve customers. 3 members of staff wandering around but didn't want to serve the customers. Iv seen this behaviour in 4 wenzels now so I don't bother and look for a Greggs

The picture says it all, what a pathetic attempt at a ham and cheese baguette. The ham and cheese were positioned on the outer edge portraying it actually had any filling. 2 tiny slices of ham, tiny cheese, filled 20% of the baguette.Feel robbed!!!!!

Went to the Oxford Rd branch in Denham . It was 12.20 lunch time and hardly any sandwiches left . Asked if there was any southern chicken one available that could be made and the girl at the counter just said no and didn’t offer to check if a fresh one could be made or did they bother making more sandwiches for people to purchase . It is lunch time and nothing to buy ! The girl was rude in the way she speaks and have a I am not bothered kind of attitude . Could clearly see she wasn’t bothered . No smile or good positive attitude towards the customer . If staff can’t be bothered to be at work and do a proper job then they should resign and just stay home and let other people who are enthusiastic work instead !
Also for the price we pay it is not worth it ! Sandwich mainly filled with huge slices of cucumber and tomatoes and pretty much no chicken there at all ! Back of the baguette is empty and the open front filling is coming out to give the deceiving impression that the sandwich is well filled but that is not the case . Won’t be going there again for sure . Disgusting customer service and deceiving sandwiches if you can get any !!

Ordered online received somebody else's order. Called the shop and they informed me that I had to contact to uber even though it was their fault due to their mispackaging. After nearly 2 hours off tooing and froing of contact and false promisesby Wenzels, I received a call from uber that they were refunding me the money! And not had any form of contact or apology from Wenzels what so ever! Will never use them again!!

Great food, good variety lovely staff, the supervisor Chelsea in the Southampton branch extremely helpful and polite always they’re answering questions about the food and always smiling and happy to help! Will definitely be there every week!

I have ordered 4 times from wenzels Kings Langley for home delivery 3 times food were not put into the bag. First time the bacon rolls were missing and I phoned was told that the rolls were not put into the bag we went to wenzels and got the bacon rolls. Second time two cakes were missing and the third time 4 cakes and a packet of crisps were missing. The staff are not checking the orders won’t be buying again.

I tried to order online food for a funeral however due to traffic problems I needed to collect the food at 9am. I visited the Greenford Station branch and spoke to Lauren the branch Manager, Lauren who was due to work from 9am that day came in early to prepare the order on time for us. It was the hottest day of the year.

I visited the southampton store and they are FANTASTIC! the staff are amazing and incredibly accommodating, you want a sandwich or a baguette with or without certain ingredients, they will make it, no trouble at all.
And the range of food and fresh baked goods are incredible!
Can't find what you want on the shelf just ask!
The manager Steph is an absolute delight!
Claudia and Dylan are wonderful too!!

Disgusting customer service by a member of staff at the Woking branch. I have never been spoken to or treated the way I was today by anyone. Will not be buying from this store again. Absolutely disgraceful!!!!!!!

I went into your Chelmsford store a week ago . There was a particular baguette I liked that had run out. A lovely lady called Melissa made a similar one for me whilst I waited. She was ever so bubbly , polite and made me feel a special customer, Wish there more like her. She is a credit to your Chelmsford store

the cost has nearly doubled and the size of baguette has actually halved........Surely you can't have it both ways!

Called into the new Salisbury store. Sausage rolls were only just OK. Barely any meat. Didn't buy any pasties as they looked very mean and with a huge roll of pastry taking up all the space. No variety of doughnuts although apparently they specialise in them. Every else cake wise looked so so. The filled rolls looked good though. Thought they might also have a good variety of breads but all I saw were fast food type snacks and drinks on the shelves.

I visited the new Salisbury branch with my daughter. The vegan sausage roll is amazing, so tasty and the pastry is delicious, it beats Gregg's by a mile. Will definitely be back. Staff were super helpful and the place was spotless.

Read online that they had Vegan baguettes and vegan sandwiches available so I went along to their Watford football stadium shop to buy some. Guess what? The girl there said “We don’t do Vegan sandwiches or baguettes”

Your pasties have hardly any filling in them. I thought it was just mushroom and chicken but I tried the beef patty and it was just as bad. Please improved because they are nice but would revert back to Gregg’s

Good points: Nice looking cakes, bit of a twist on the normal, like cookie bombs and the croissant/donut crossovers.

However, Northampton branch, lifeless, rude "WHO'S NEXT" screaming dullards. No manners, no smiles, so rude to the customer before me and after me - claiming she hadn't paid for the food she was waiting for. Two tills, two staff, queue out the door, but one decides to back the other and stand by the coffee machine instead.

Breakfast sausage bap and a coffee meal "deal" is £7. Laughable.

Cakes in the window are in plastic trays, packed in twos, so theyre not baked/made on site, it's just mass produced delivered stuff. Tastes floury, no actual "cakey" taste to it. At least decant them out of the plastic travel boxes and put them on the display trays!

Won't be back again. Maybe if they had attitude transplants.

Wrong orders, incorrect items, plastic in sandwiches from butter pots! Don’t bother I beg you go ANYWHERE ELSE. Buy a sandwich .. pick up a rock and eat that it’ll be better for you
