Had a vegetarian afternoon tea for 2. It was very well packaged. The food was very tasty and good sized portions. Needed to contact them by email and they were very helpful

I have ordered several times from Piglets Pantry for myself & as gifts for friends & family & every time the products have been of excellent quality, extremely well packaged & presented . Unfortunately the delivery company they used let them down this last time , but after contacting them I was sent a replacement hamper straight away which came as promised & was totally delicious. I highly recommend Piglets pantry & will definitely be using them again.
I ordered the vegan afternoon tea and vegan pie box for a birthday afternoon for my partner. The presentation is lovely, and as a vegan, there is not much companies who offer afternoon tea set like this; that includes savories. I am recently housebound and disabled, so this was the only way I could quickly receive an afternoon tea. The afternoon tea and the pies were extremely lacking in flavour, almost as if all of the savouries had been either completely boiled to the point of no flavour or the ingredients were frozen prior to cooking. I don't know, but I am very disappointed and ruined a birthday afternoon I had planned 💔.
The delivery was sent by DPD who are usually a very terrible, unreliable company deliveries, nevermind for scheduled deliveries, however came on time. If I had known prior that the delivery company was DPD, I wouldn't have ordered.
Ordered weeks ago for a delivery yesterday for my mothers birthday today. Having recieved no DPD tracking yesterday I called customer service and was assured the order was confirmed and due to be delivered yesterday, to wait and that I could turn up any time until 8pm. No order arrived.
I have called customer service again this morning and been advised due to an "error" the order was intact never placed and as such would not have been delivered yesterday. I questioned why exactly I was misinformed yesterday and how this would be remedied, it is infant my mother's birthday today and we now have no food. I recieved a half arsed apology and an offer to deliver on Monday when nobody is available as we are all working. I personally would avoid at all costs, save your money and spend it somewhere you will actually recieve the service you pay for!

Afternoon tea didn’t arrive , no communication from piglets pantry. Phoned asking why it did not arrive , no explanation and no apology, terrible customer service , would not use again

I ordered an afternoon tea delivery to celebrate the birthday of a 91 year old relative. Despite the delivery date being confirmed and my account debited, the order has not been dispatched or delivered. Numerous calls have gone unanswered and no refund has been provided.

A present bought for my parents, and they are delighted with the gift. The courier service was reliable and courteous to my elderly mum. I needed to contact Piglets Pantry, and although did take several missed calls, they were very helpful. But overall excellent experience.

No one answers the phone left a message because we should have had delivery last week and it didn’t turn up Can’t get hold of anybody not replying to messages shame really.

Absolutely terrible customer service. Do not buy a voucher! You can’t redeem it and they ignore your emails. I had a third party voucher but the website stated it didn’t recognise it. I have emailed them five times and have had no response. I ended up ordering a different product with the third party. If I hadn’t have used the third party I’m pretty sure I’d be out of pocket. I wouldn’t trust them.

The actual afternoon teas are great but I have to say the communication from the company is terrible. I tried to cancel one order due to unforeseen circumstances, however after phoning a number of times there was no answer each time! I emailed instead and had no reply to the email. I contacted the company within the terms&conditions to change an order but received no reply until the day the package was handed over to DPD the delivery service. The email I received said they could not cancel as the parcel was with the delivery service. Again I emailed that I wasn’t happy with this and I have yet to receive a reply. Will NOT be ordering from them again.

Don't even deserve one star. I had a BuyaGift afternoon tea voucher but there were no places to use in my area so I paid extra & got a Piglets Pantry Afternoon Voucher. Booking didn't work, even though I had correct voucher number, said to just message them with details. I did this, no reply. I used the message service on their Website, no reply. Absolutely awful company - they don't bother to even acknowledge messages let alone reply.
Would have given zero stars if that were an option.
I ordered cakes as a gift and tried to add a gift note during checkout, but the system wouldn’t allow it. The confirmation email said to reply within 24 hours if any changes were needed, so I did exactly that. I replied to the email explaining the issue, sent an additional email, and even tried calling multiple times, but the phone just rang out with no answer.
In the end, the cakes were delivered without the note, which completely defeated the purpose of sending a surprise gift. The recipient had to ask around to find out who sent them, which was quite embarrassing.
I contacted the company afterwards to explain how disappointed I was, but the response made things even worse. Over the phone I was told they were having problems with their online messages, while the email response said they had staff absences and hadn’t been able to provide their usual level of customer service.
Poor communication, poor follow-up, and a very disappointing experience overall. If you’re expecting reliable customer service, I’d suggest looking elsewhere!
We had the classic vegetarian afternoon tea and it was absolutely delicious. The scotch egg in particular was amazing, and the carrot cake was so moist. We’ll definitely be ordering again
They don’t pay hard working staff at fratton park who are still waiting for wages owed for all there hard work that they still do
After receiving a box that didn’t live up to expectations, I have now received a replacement which was 100% better and much appreciated. I appreciate that Piglets have had some challenging months but I can say that things are now looking up. Thank you all
We had the Tea for Two sent to as a gift some time ago but we still think about it. There was sufficient quality cakes and savories to last us for three tea times for two. Everything was so fresh and tasty and great variety. Fantastic packaging, everything arrived intact . The pastry on the sausage rolls still flaky. Excellent value now we know the price and would not hesitate to recommend

I ordered some cookies as I was gifted a buy a gift voucher and decided to order some cookies ready for my birthday. When purchasing I thought they were expensive £35 for 6 cookies. I had to pay postage on top.
They did arrive on the day they were supposed to and we’re wrapped in a big box with a cool pack, however they were put together in the box on top/next to each other so they were stuck together. For £35+ I would definitely not recommend purchasing from this company.
Absolutely disgraceful company, totally ignore you through their website and emails. Will never order with these again, stay clear.
