I purchased 3 expensive clematis plants. When they arrived I photographed them and sent to Westcountry nurseries as they were so small and weak-looking. They responded that I should plant them and they would soon flower. They have all 3 died after little or no growth but luckily I had purchased 3 clematis from my supermarket, which were a fraction of the cost and are all thriving. In my opinion, this nursery is appalling and should be avoided.

I ordered some Epimediums from them a few weeks ago. They arrived looking extremely healthy and were well worth the money. The only thing I would recommend is for them to send them in waterproof packaging because in this awful weather the package was soaked and fell apart. The post office covered them so it didn’t spoil the plants thank goodness!

Ordered a plant and it turned up in a great and healthy condition.
One always has concern ordering in winter months, but nothing to be concerned about. Lovely plant, very happy customer!

I sent for mail order plants from this family business, not for the first time. They arrived in perfect condition, ingeniously packed. Would recommend highly.

My 2 clematis were very carefully packaged, (no plastic except the pots ☺️) and both plants are in tip top condition. Thank you very much indeed. I placed my first order with Westcountry Nurseries and was very pleased with the service I received from placing the order through to the delivery of the lupins. Lupin foliage is brittle and easily damaged but my order had been expertly packed and when I unpacked them they were undamaged and the roots were moist. Ordered 4 x lupins from this award winning nursery. Described as potted 9 cm pot. Received 4 plug plants, in 9 cm pots with completely dry and loose soil with no root growth beyond the plug. Complained and was just told to plant them on and they will recover. 3 have since died. Have not had any response to further emails. Trading on their reputation. Avoid.

I ordered a delicate plant called Lewisia colyledon plant - it did take about a week to be delivered but it arrived in perfect condition and perfectly wrapped for its journey to me from Devon to London. Very impressed and looking forward to buying more plants from them

Have purchased Lupins from them online since seeing their Gold medal display at Chelsea Flower Show. Latest order was speedily delivered, superbly packed and in wonderful condition. Faultless.

I’m very pleased with my clematis. It arrived in perfect condition, and is a really substantial plant. Lots of shoots from the base, not like so many spindly plants I’ve bought in the past. Highly recommend.

Early delivery, package perfect condition, content perfect, healthy and very green no dead leafage or dead wood. Very happy so far only time will tell if it's a success but the value is great.

When I ordered the Auricula seedlings I imagined a few tiny plants looking a bit sick. What I received was a pot full of very healthy plants and I am delighted. Thank you. Good sensible price, packed well and speedy delivery. Can’t ask for more.
