Shoppers Vs Retailers

Despite the declining appeal of high street shopping. Westfield statford offers excellent and diverse shopping options

However, the layout seems to favour the retailers and not the shopper.

The amount of seating is disproportionate to the footfall and amount of shopping outlets.

The shopping aisles seem narrow and claustrophobic.

You can find a place to stop and rest near the toilets beside the upper food court. As spaces are always being made available, by people moving on after waiting for their family or friends to use the WC

Toilets are immaculately kept and always clean.

Brilliant and spacious family rooms and free water fountains.

It's a shame the performance of the retailers lets Westfield down.

Behind the fancy shopfronts and big names, the shopping experience is poor.
You're better off finding a nice comfortable place to sit and shopping online.

Shopping staff do not know enough about the products they sell. That's if you can find a member of staff to help you.
They simply process your purchase and that's it. You might as well buy online, with that level of service.

The lower food court have more affordable options. You can't find a seat near the affordable mcdonald's. If you're wealthy or are having and extravagant day, you will probably find somewhere good to eat.

The shopping experience is not as enjoyable as it used to be. But this is not down to Westfield, but the retailers.

Primark and John Lewis are the stars of Westfield, but at opposite ends of the shopping experience.

With Primark, it cheap and cheerful, you get what you pay for.
With john Lewis, staff actually say hello to you and are available to help and answer questions. Old fashioned shopping experience.

Bei Kamps in Westfield waren wir maßlos enttäuscht, die Bedienung erklärte, dass am 24.12.25 um 14:00 Uhr geschlossen wird. Wir wollten Kaffee trinken um 11:30 Uhr und bekamen Pappbecher, weil angeblich keine Tassen mehr zur Verfügung gestellt werden. Danach erhielten die Kunden Porzellantassen. Wird anscheinend mit zweierlei Maß Kunden behandelt. Nie wieder hier!!!!!

Der Weihnachtsmarkt ist unterirdisch. Scandinavischer Flair? Ich lache mich tot.
Aussteller geben Ihr Bestes. Alles bestens, alle super.
Aber Weihnachtsmarkt??? Ne

Leider ein sehr enttäuschender Besuch im Westfield Center Hamburg. An einem Sonntag waren heute sämtliche Toiletten geschlossen. Für ein modernes Einkaufszentrum mit vielen Besuchern ist das absolut unverständlich. Gerade am Wochenende kommen Familien, ältere Menschen und Gäste, die auf funktionierende Sanitäranlagen angewiesen sind.
Es gab keine ausreichenden Hinweise, keine Alternativen und keinerlei Serviceangebot. So etwas sollte in einem Center dieser Größe und mit diesem Anspruch schlicht nicht passieren. Sehr ärgerlich und definitiv kein gutes Besuchererlebnis.

Wir waren 2Monate nach Eröffnung dort, und leider hat es mich nicht begeistert! Es war nämlich kein warmer Tag und windig.Mir war die ganze Zeit kalt, und auch in den überdachten Zonen war es kalt und zugig. Hab noch nie in einem Einkaufszentrum so gefroren und mich gefragt, wie es wohl im Winter dort ist.

Westfield Stratford is great as I never havd to go to central London anymore because all the shops i need are under one roof there. Plus eateries , coffee shops , a few places for the kids to play etc. We also regularly visit the Vue cinema there. Just avoid late afternoons and especially the weekends and you will have an enjoyable experience :) btw, they have an absolutely great Santa's grotto this year, called Good factory. The best i have ever seen, excellent job!

My car was involved in a hit and run on Westfield London car park recently and the security team don't want to know. I spoke to someone at security via email who was about as much use as nothing. It seems from looking at previous reviews I'm not alone in this, they don't want to get involved (I'm guessing due to fear of comeback against themselves and also no doubt, lack of effort) and so claim there is no CCTV in the area - which I don't believe for a moment. Oh and I suppose the ANPR system doesn't work either right? Complete load of nonsense.
This is now being investigated by the police and I have dashcam footage clearly showing the drivers face which will be posted online in due course when the investigation is complete.
Do not park here if you value your car and / or possessions. You have been warned.

Ich bin stinksauer! Ich werde um mein Geld betrogen! Es meldet sich niemand trotz anrufen und mehreren Mails! Wo bleibt mein Geld für die Gutscheine, die man nicht einlösen kann. Unfassbar warte seit 2 Wochen und keiner meldet sich zurück.

In den Gängen eiskalt und ungemütlich.
Parkplatz 3 € Std..euer Ernst..fehlt noch Eintrittsgeld! Riesengroß und total kalt mit Sitzgelegenheiten die man nur mit mitgebrachten Kissen nutzen sollte! Toiletten nicht sauber!
Freude beim Shoppen kommt nicht auf.
Vielleicht mal den Citti-Park Lübeck anschauen!!

Sehr enttäuschend....mal wieder ein Zara, C&A,Hunkemöller etc.

Alles riesig ohne Flair und Charm.
Wir haben Herbst und im Center ist es sehr kalt und zugig.

In den kleineren Geschäften langweilen sich die Angestellten und spielen nur am Smartphone. In einem Geschäft hat sich einer der beiden Verkäuferin erstmal ausgiebig die Haare gebürstet obwohl es dort Lebensmittel [Lakritze] zu kaufen gab.

Parkgebühren finde ich zu teuer, für mich gehört das kostenfreie Parken als Service dazu. Haben dort ja auch Geld ausgeben.

Das einzige positive, die Dame an der "Rezeption" war sehr freundlich und das essen war lecker, allerdings auch sehr teuer.

Ich als Hamburgerin werde dort nicht mehr hinfahren.

Leider ein totaler Reinfall. Ich hatte mich wirklich aufs Westfield gefreut. Eine Betonwüste, die den Anschein eines Hauptbahnhofs hat. Einmal und nie wieder. Da gehe ich lieber ins Alsterhaus.

Leider sind die Pflanzen ausgetrocknet, Gräser, wäre schön was grünes zu sehen, die Toiletten, sollten die Kunden Pflichtig zahlen. Leider benehmen sich die Frauen unmöglich und lassen alles sehr schmutzig, geht gar nicht.Respekt los die Reinigungsleute gegenüber.An alle turen von innen irgend ein Hinweis drauf kleben.

There's a good choice of shops but the only reason I can find to shop there is if it's pouring with rain or very cold you can be warm & protected. The Shepherd's Bush Westfield is ginormous & it's exhausting, it's too hot & there's only one area to sit & rest which is by the John Lewis entrance, 5 seats all taken. I presume that they want people to rest having a tea, coffee, lunch. I was there for two hours & didn't sit down once, also because it was so warm I was sweating & my feet were swollen. If you're going there I recommend that you wear summer clothes & comfortable shoes. I didn't buy anything & won't be returning. I told my daughter & 23 year old granddaughter that I'd been there, my daughter said "It's my idea of hell" & my granddaughter said "I hate it" That's three generations that hate Westfield.

Heute sollte es Popcorn geben. Als ich um 12:55 Uhr für meine weinenden Kinder Popcorn wollte, hat man mich gebeten 10 min zu warten. Ich meine da kann man doch man Auge zudrücken zumal es Kinder sind!!!! Es tat ihn nur leid. Obwohl genug bereits da war. Wahnsinn. So viel zum Kinderlieb! Der junge Mann in blond weiß Bescheid. Herzlos.

Sehr ungemütlich..gemütlich shoppen im Winter ist glaub ich nix ...selbst in den Geschäften war es eiskalt .Einmal und nie wieder !

Westfield Hamburg:Was für eine Betonwüste! Viel zu wenig Bäume und Pflanzen. Alles zubetoniert. Die Gastronomie:na ja. Die Shops groß, aber irgendwie zu groß, besonders Breuninger mit dem "Shop in Shop Konzept", man sieht den Wald vor lauter Bäumen nicht. Irgendwie war nichts ansprechend. Hatte mich auf diese Einkaufsmöglichkeit gefreut, aber werde nicht wieder hingehen. Dazu noch irritierende Schilder, die auf "Taxi" hinweisen, wo kein Taxi ist.

Überwiegend asia Gastronomie Und nichts für den deutschen Gaumen alles in allem es gibt wesentlich bessere Einkaufszentren zum Schluss 1 mal und nie wieder.

Ein shopping center mit kreuzfahrer terminal ohne koffer abstellraum! Nur kleine fächdr für koffer im handgepäck format.ein unding!!
