Worst fridge we've ever purchased. Three months in, it just randomly stops working. We had to throw away around $150 worth of food and then had to buy a second-hand fridge. First of all, the company refuses to provide warranty service if you are not in their "zone". This is 100% illegal under consumer law. Instead, they send out some kind of contractor. The guy came out, looked at the fridge for about 5 minutes and told me it was going to be a minimum of another week before he can get the parts. I range Westinghouse and told them that this is a fridge, not a TV, and we need a fridge because we need to keep food. I asked for a refund and was told the matter would be "escalated" and someone would call me within 48 hours. No one called, so I called. I was told it would be "escalated" and someone would call me in 48 hours. I told them that I wanted the details of the legal department so that I can lodge a claim with the department of fair trading and they *refused* to provide this information and told me that "they are only an outsourced call center" and its not their problem. This is absolutely the worst appliance provider. Ever. Do not buy any of their products as they refuse to abide by their obligations.

Great dishwasher, really quiet and provides a thorough wash. Shame they make you jump through hoops to get the cutlery caddy though (bought through Harvey Norman)

Bought a basic 240 litre fridge and within a couple of weeks the fan in the freezer was defective and luckily replaced under warranty. Then 4 years later the compressor packed it in.
Useless junk and good for nothing.

Bought a pigeon pair fridge freezer which online looked perfect. The legs are flimsy and fail to hold appliances still. Both fridge and freezer wheel forward and backward with each door opening. My usual fridge freezer stood still and did not move a jot. These two are free rolling. Twice, Appliances Online sent people out to steady both but it was impossible. I am being charged $800 to return both. Glad to see them back of them and regret buying. How Westinghouse get away with such poor quality I don't know. How hard should it be to keep a fridge or freezer still?

Just be careful purchasing Westinghouse products guys! I purchased a Westinghouse washing machine. I specifically waited for this product as I had previously had a Westinghouse washing machine that was great! Not so with this new machine unfortunately. I had numerous error messages happening in the first year with the machine just stopping mid wash and showing an error, with the technician coming on no less than 4 occasions. The error wasn’t remedied. They wouldn’t replace it and the problem kept occurring. Now it is out of the warranty period and they won’t honour the warranty, despite having g the same issue since purchase.

These machines aren’t cheap, and when purchasing a product such as Westinghouse I anticipate quality or at least to be given a replacement if the machine is obviously faulty. I am really unhappy with the quality and the service of the newer Westinghouse product 😔
