Service with a smile

I can't rate West One Bathrooms highly enough. I made a mistake with my online order and despite it being my fault they were beyond understanding and made sure that I got what I needed. Everything was dealt with quickly, efficiently and with good communication. This is sadly such a rarity these days and I'm just so pleased I ordered with them and not a specialist online retailer, as they really give the personal touch.

Excellent customer service

Excellent customer service - west one answered every question and followed through until the very end. We also had the product sent to us overseas, and west one took all of it in their stride. Great product, excellent sales, pleasure to deal with. Would recommend!

A great telephone experience from the sales team

I had a great first West One Bathrooms Online experience with Sales Consultant Michael Z.
He went out of his way to check supply of a single mirror for me, with reliable callbacks and helpful emails to confirm the available sizes and details. Very open and transparent about the delivery process to expect too...
As we are looking to redo both bathrooms in our home next year, we'd definitely consider going with West One based on this professional and friendly experience :)

Michael at West One Bathrooms is an absolute gem. He helped us enormously with our two bathroom renovations both in finding the right items and getting us the best price. We had a lot of questions and a few issues and he didn't hesitate to help us. He is responsive, knowledgable and so helpful. We really couldn't have done our bathroom renovation without him. I would highly recommend him and West One Bathrooms for a superior experience.

No delivery notification

The item was delivered quickly and very well wrapped. The problem was that there was no notification of the delivery date and it arrived on a pallet. Luckily I had it delivered to my work but if it had gone randomly to my house, there wouldn't have been anyone in.

Edit: I have revised my 3 stars to 4 due to their reply. It suggests that there is a process in place and it just bypassed me.

Edit 2: 5 stars. I have purchased a few more items from them. I was given a small discount for the second time and also informed a few times on the delivery date. Customer service is always nice and tries to help in any way they can. My go to bathroom store now.

Superb West One

What a great company! I made a mistake with my initial order and forgot to order a specific part that my plumber needed that day to complete the time sensitive build of our new bathroom. West One (specifically Aaron) went out of his way to find the part that I needed and took it out to a waiting Uber. So many companies wouldn’t bother to make the effort and in that regard West One really stands out! Thank you!

Excellent service

I needed a 500 to 600 mm long ceiling mounted shower pipe to replace a badly installed pipe made up of 3 joined extensions. My local bathroom showroom advised me to make it up from 2 hansgrohe extensions - but hansgrohe themselves said that wouldn’t be feasible.

West One Bathrooms identified a small manufacturer which could provide a single length of 500 mm pipe. it arrived a few days later and has been successfully installed. Delighted with the outcome.

TO AVOID

I returned an expensive item in perfect condition and they wanted to charge me 25% of the price because of tape marks on the box. After more than 2 months from the return I did not receive any refund. Up to the last time they replied to me which was more than 1 month ago, this is due to a third company, the manufacturer of the item, requiring to inspect it. They did not give me any timing for the refund and the amount of money I will receive as this shady 25% repackaging fee is completely unfair. I have paid Westone Bathroom and did business with them so giving the responsibility to a third company for a rerun is definitely not professional. I would never buy from them again.

I purchased a Wc Brush Set

I purchased a Wc Brush Set. The goods were damaged slightly or of a poor quality. The packaging was also not complete and so I suspect the product could have been ex display or used. When I contacted the after sales team they were at first cooperative, but shortly after they became quite obstructive and dismissive, even where I clearly showed images that highlighted the damage. I suspect they are trying to avoid replacing or refunding. Also the attitude of their employee was unpleasant. Not a company I would use again.

Please be careful with this company! We chose them as the easy solution to get everything in one go, instead it became the most stressful part of our renovation. The delivery timeline promised was 4-6 weeks, the salesperson Alberto was very insistent that items would deliver on time over two deliveries. Instead it took nearly 10 weeks, over 5 drops. No notice on delays, just excuse about ‘supply chain’. It ended up costing us a lot more money in scattering out our contractor work and resulted in a two month delay in completing the project. The appliances are beautiful but service was really disappointing when you pay a premium! We have also just found out they’re charging more than double on appliances, for example sold us soft close toilet seat as additional cost despite it already being part of the toilet price!

We are so disappointed and sorry to read your review. We’d like to note for the interest of those reading the review – this has been left for our Online side, however we can see your experience was based on that with one of our showrooms.

Thank you for taking the time to give your feedback, we’ve taken the time to investigate this complaint as we take our clients feedback very seriously. Having spoken to Alberto and from inspecting the email trails we can see that you were informed at each stage from our side. We have provided a breakdown from what we understand as below;

• 7.10.23 - The day the order was placed. An email with an updated quote was sent and WOB listed the indicative lead times.
• 23.10.23 – Changes to the spec were forthcoming from yourselves for the Bespoke vanity unit which added 2 weeks to the lead time we had previously quoted, this change was also brought to your attention
• 27.10.23 – Delivery of 1st fix was requested, which was then delivered on 30.10.23
• 14.11.23 – 2nd fix delivery was requested. At this stage, our brassware supplier notified us of the delay to the basin tap and basin waste, which was passed on, to which we received a positive response from yourselves
• 22.11.23 – Brassware was delivered (except the delayed basin mixer) You were also informed of the ETA for the vanity (w/c 16.12), at the stage you were unhappy with the lead time for the vanity unit as it would have arrived after the builders had left for Christmas, so it had to be delivered upon their return in Jan. We advised if the unit hadn’t been amended from original quote it would have arrived before Christmas as originally planned, however the change in bespoke product caused the delay

Regarding the soft close seat on the WC provided, the seat from this brand is always sold separately, perhaps online others may have bundled the price, however on our quote it would have showed as two separate lines due to how our system generates quotes.

We are truly sorry you were unhappy with the experience, and it resulted in it being stressful for you. Please let us assure you this is never our intention, and we would genuinely like to apologise for any inconvenience caused to your renovation.
