Fraudulent organisation - glad I paid with Amex who disputed transaction. Their website doesn’t exist. They didn’t answer the phone. I was very nearly defrauded

Ordered the dark grey shorts for my husband but they are light grey nothing like the picture advertised not to sure about this company definitely not worth the full price they were supposedly retailed at😏😏😏

AVOID!!!! - Absolute scam! The quality of garments is appalling, they weren't worth ten pence! Not only did they arrive weeks after ordering, but the fabric is the sort that would catch fire if you rubbed it together. Disgusting that they can get away with this. We requested a refund and offered to return - still waiting to hear, yet still get their marketing emails.

Oh what a disaster. Haughty people who, when reminded that UK consumer rights allow us to change our minds within 30 days, they ignore the law and insist on their own 'T&Cc'. The dress I ordered wasn't actually bad, just badly packaged. It's a shame that this company masquerades as a UK business when it's just a sweatshop outlet.

I ordered a zip up polo shirt, when it arrived I was staggered at the awful quality which I instantly wanted to return. I was offered 10% back as a refund on the amount I paid plus a discount on a future order which i rejected. I was then informed that I could return the goods but would have to pay the cost and the address I needed to return the goods to was in China, The cost was £50+ despite them saying that the company is London based.
Do not buy from this company.

Cancelled order within an hour after reading reviews but they continue to process my order claiming that it was too late!! Will be going to my bank to reclaim the payment I made. They are indeed scammers. However, as most of look for bargains maybe we need to address where the so called bargains come from and at what cost to those that work in the sweat shops of China. There are so many sites selling rubbish that will become landfill. I don’t want to be a contributor anymore.

Same as others have experienced, goods are cheap and nasty, nothing like promised. Long delivery time and when I contacted them for a refund they contacted me to offer 10% refund and 25% discount code on future order. I declined and as yet they have not contacted me. Nothing short of fraud

Complete scam. Ordered a suit and when it arrived, it was in a plastic 'ziploc' type bag. It was far too small and very poor quality so I sent an email that I wanted to return it. They offered a 10% refund which i declined, then offered a 20%refund which I declined and then 30% refund which I declined. They said that postage etc would cost between $40 to $50 which is almost what the suit cost. They then offered a voucher to the value of the item I purchased. They state that you will get a FULL REFUND but this is false. Avoid at all costs.

Absolute rubbish arrived from China after a two week wait. They pretend to be a London company but are complete scammers! I wish I'd been more careful about reading reviews before I ordered. Terrible sizing, awful cheap material and poor workmanship. Buyers beware. Don't order from this company!

I wanted to give them zero stars, but not an option.
Ordered a smart looking Maroon Suit with silver buttons.
I received a cheap looking red suit with red buttons.
Made contact with them, they offered me a 10% refund to keep the item, then 20% then 30% and finally 50%.
The suit I received is appalling so I don't want it so have refused all of their offers.
Don't buy from these charlatans. They are not based in London, the return policy is impossible. What you see is certainly not what you get.

I reject your assertion that your company's internal Order Cancellation Policy overrides my statutory rights under UK consumer law. A retailer cannot remove or restrict a consumer's legal rights simply by publishing its own terms and conditions.

I notified Wilson & Carter that I wished to cancel my order. Your decision to continue shipping the goods despite that notification is a commercial decision made by your company and does not extinguish my legal rights.

Your repeated reliance on your internal policy, rather than addressing my statutory rights, is disappointing. I have made my position clear from the outset, yet your responses continue to rely on standard wording instead of engaging with the substance of my complaint.

Unless you now confirm that my cancellation will be honoured and that I will receive a full refund in accordance with my legal rights, I will have no alternative but to escalate this matter. This may include reporting the matter to the relevant consumer protection authorities, pursuing recovery of the funds through my payment provider where appropriate, and publicly sharing a factual account of my experience to assist other consumers in making informed purchasing decisions.

I remain willing to resolve this matter amicably, but I require your written confirmation that my statutory rights will be respected and that this dispute will be concluded without further delay.

I really wish I'd looked at reviews before I ordered from this awful company. Firstly I believed I was ordering from a London based company, this wasn't the case.
I ordered a dress and coord trousers set after a couple of weeks they arrived and were dreadful..cheap, not near colour ordered and cheap material full of static.
I asked to return but was told it could cost me $50 to $60 dollars or they would offer 20% off and keep items. I finally got 40% back and gave items to charity shops.
PLEASE DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE SCAMMERS.

This company is an absolute disgrace. The quality of the dress I received was so poor I will use as a dish cloth.
It looked nothing like the dress modelled. The refund policy is also disgraceful. I have yet to receive the 40% offered instead of sending the garment back to China which would cost far more than the actual cost. An absolute scam. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. THEY SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN.

Like other people have written it's a scam company please**AVOID after ordering summer sandals I'm in a dispute with this company as they sent out the wrong size. To return the item it will cost more than I paid them. It took over a week to arrive. I'm getting nowhere. With emails this company is supposed to be in London England. Items are posted from china. Cheap rubbish.

Appalling company dreadful clothing which bears no resemblance to their advertising and they won’t supply a returns label when you wish to return their shoddy goods, do not buy from these people .7

As with other reviews , items received extremely poor quality and not as described .
Tried to instigate a refund as per the companies ‘easy returns policy ‘ / ‘full money back guarantee’ assurances to be advised of their ‘international returns policy / high associated costs.
The whole set up is a scam.
The company started with a ‘gogw’ where by I could get a 10% refund and keep the goods . The items I ordered aren’t wearable so I decline the offer .
We have been backwards and forwards where I have stood firm and declined each of their offers and they slowly increased their offer of a refund up to 50% .
However in parallel I raised a chargeback with my credit card company and today I received confirmation they have upheld my dispute and provided me with a full refund .
So don’t give up if you make the mistake of trading with this company and go down the section 75 chargeback route !
Just to add to this - I’ve just checked my credit card account this morning and have now also received a full refund from Wilson carter - since the chargeback was raised - so keep fighting for a full refund without having to pay ridiculous amounts to return your items - and go down the chargeback route if you paid by credit card !
This has been a real lesson to check trust pilot before ordering from any unknown company !

What an awful company, product, experience, you name it. Zero star would be too much. The quality of product received is so bad I wouldn't use it as a cloth. Forget about returns and refunds, they make things so complicated, impossible actually, to the point that return form is never attached to an email. I could go on and on.... DO NOT APPROACH

Would have given 0 stars if possible. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. This is the second order I have placed, I stupidly ordered a second order before the first had arrived. The first order was awful, returns process non- existant even though both items were faulty. The second order was just as bad. Read all the other reviews and take note, the products are cheap, not at all as they appear on their website and oversized, undersized, nothing about them is correct.

Wow. Can’t believe I’ve been scammed, although in my defence why wouldn’t you think this was a British company? Could you choose a more British sounding name - àbout three steps away from the most common British surnames of Smith ànd Jones.
The pictures on the website are also really misleading - a London Bridge ànd à shop counter that looks like a Saville Row outfitters.
The top I bought stated it was a cotton/linen blend and when it arrived it was a vile 95% polyester / 5% spandex mix. The material is so plasticky I’m surprised it didn’t melt in the post. It’s surely a fire hazard, especially in this heatwave.
It wasn’t cheap either at £35 / àbout what I’d pay at M ànd S or NEXT.
Don’t beat yourselves up, people, there are bad people out there who are out to rip us off. Why would you check trust pilot before buying à mid price top?
Now holding out much hope for a refund; I’m on a 15% offer at the moment.
Have a look at the swimwear on the website - each swimming costume is simply an AI generated sticker over the body to show the different colours available.
Hope they get taken down soon.
