Disgusting facilities at Dagenham Pure Gym

On September 24 I reported a Health and Safety issue to the Pure Gym member services. The showers had mould growing on the trays, the facilities were always dirty and littered with empty water bottles/ toilet paper/energy bar wrappers and clothing. On this particular day, somebody had defacated in the shower which was the last straw and also sent photos of this to Pure Gym. On October 9 I sent another email to them asking why nobody had responded to such a serious complaint. On 11 October I got a response back saying that my email would be sent to the Dagenham Pure Gym manager and he would respond. To date 22 October, I have not had a response from anybody at Pure Gym. Absolutely shocking to say the least.

The service was impeccable. Ordered on Monday and it arrived on Tuesday. The item was packaged securely and undamaged. Very impressed!

Wrong order sent

Wrong order sent but was refunded the full amount. The quality of products from them is very good and I purchased another duvet set.

Not genuine item. Made in Vietnam not Canada.

I checked for an NFC tag to verify the authenticity of the jacket. There is no NFC tag present that can verify originality and source. The zip is also not a YKK which is used by the manufacturer. When I originally called to change the colour , I asked if it was genuine and why it was so cheap, the operator said ' yes, its an original and its so cheap because it's last years stock'. I sent back for a refund.

Legal extortion

I received a PCN from them which I appealed a day after receiving it. Unfortunately, it was rejected and i was informed that it must be paid.
When I went on to their website the fine was £100, however it stated that if the original fine was paid within 14 days it would be reduced to £60. When i appealed the fine, it stated that the fine would not increase while the appeal was pending which is obviously not the case. I appealed the fine again explaining the difference in cost and got the same reply - that the appeal had not been upheld and I must pay it.
If you have 14 days to pay the fine at a reduced rate, surely a consumer must be afforded the same rights when the fine is under appeal? They have now extorted £40 from me and there is nothing I can do about it. It is just another money-making racket and actually legal extortion. It is impossible to call them and therefore impossible to resolve the issue.

Shocking service DPD

I ordered a cage for my parrot and did not have the option of having it delivered to a local drop off due to it's size.
I paid extra for it to be delivered on a Sunday due to working Monday to Friday. An hour before the confirmation message, I got a message saying there was a problem and the delivery would be on Monday. I called DPD on the Monday morning early and the man said he would try and sort it out and call me back in 2 hours. Weeks later I'm still waiting for his call.
I then got an email stating that the delivery would take place the following Sunday. Once again, an hour before the confirmation I get another message stating there was a problem with the delivery and it would be delivered on Monday. I could not change the delivery address because the system said it was out of the delivery area - which was next door?! Fortunately my neighbour took the delivery but the box was in such a bad state, it looked like it had been mauled by a lion.
Shocking service.

Worst car dealership ever - avoid

I saw a vehicle that I was interested in and called Harold Wood Sytner BMW. The first person I spoke to told me he didn't know if the vehicle was available and would enquire and call me back later. He never did but was quick to insist on a £1000 deposit which i paid straight away.
The second sales person Clare called me as a result of my on line query and said she would help. She also didn't know of the vehicle was available and said she would get back to me which she did later that day. She said that the vehicle was available but didn't know the specs. This was on a Wednesday and she said that the car would go to prep and I would get a call Friday afternoon for progress. She never called and I followed up with a call Friday but she was not available. She called late in the afternoon and said that unfortunately the vehicle was no longer available because when it was put on a diagnostic machine, something was wrong with it and they couldn't sell it. How can you advertise a car that has such a major problem it suddenly can't be sold?!
She said that I must send her my long card number and expiry date on bank card and the deposit would be paid back. I did it straight away.
On the Monday I called and once again she was not available and I left a message - once again, no response. I asked to speak to the sales manager but if course he was unavailable.
On Tuesday I called again and Clare was nowhere to be found.Another message and again no response. Deposit still not been paid back 4 days later and nobody responds to calls or emails.
This must be the poorest customer service I have ever experienced.

Appalling service from Scottish Power

I had a direct debit for £74 and they deducted £197. My account was in credit by £5.50 and when I called, I spoke to 5 people on 5 different occasions. 1.They cut me off twice and didn't call back.
2. The one person said it was an estimate but when I told her my average use was less than £70 a month, she said that they had the right to deduct the money and insisted I provide meter readings which I had already given two weeks prior.
3.The fifth person (Ben) I spoke to told me that they had made an error and that Scottish Power owed me £202.50. He said he would call me back on the Saturday - 5 days later and sort out the refund. He never did.
After spending a total of 5 hours on the phone the refund has still not been sorted out because nobody calls me back.I've given up because they're completely useless.

I broke one of the mud feet on my bed…

I broke one of the mud feet on my bed chair and emailed regarding a replacement. I would have gladly paid for it and they emailed me back requesting pictures which I sent. Two days later I had a new part in my post box at no charge.
That's amazing customer service!!!
