Hired for a relocation from London to Scotland, with multiple addresses. Everything from the communication and organisation of the removal to the move itself was handled extremely professionally. The movers themselves were extremely hard working and polite, and took the utmost care with items to ensure nothing was damaged. Their prices are also incredibly low for the quality of service provided. Cannot recommend them enough.

I used 1st Movers to transport all my stuff from Edinburgh to Bristol and they provided a fantastic service that was devoid of hassles. Edna, the Trainee Operator with whom I spoke was very patient, taking the time to explain all my options. She found me the most convenient slot and followed up several times to make sure that I was satisfied with the service. I would definitely use them again should I have the need for it.

We are very glad to have chosen 1stmovers to remove our rather massive upright piano recently. The piano was removed on the appointed day without mishap. The removers came early after checking by telephone that this would be OK with us. The removers were very efficient and expert at their work. The office staff, including a trainee operator, Miss Edna, were very pleasant and helpful in arranging the whole process by email and telephone.

1st Movers were prompt and polite. Removing the piano from my old address was achieved in moments. The delivery address staircase is tricky to manoeuvre a piano up and they managed admirably.

Very good experience with 1st movers. I had to leave earlier to catch my train to Dundee (I was moving there from my previous flat in Sheffield) and they were all throughout the removal extremely communicative over the phone! We had to meet specific guidelines as to not take any of the landlord's furniture (the original flat was let furnished) and they did a fantastic job. Very flexible with the dates as well, if one is wiling to pay for storage when necessary. I recommend 1st movers highly.

From start to finish the whole process was easy and efficient. I read all the reviews out there and couldn't get over how positive they were about 1st Movers..now I know why. Edna from 1st Movers was quick to respond to any questions I had for my small move from my London storage unit to Glasgow. I submitted an initial request late afternoon and had a quick call back. I was pretty flexible with dates and they happened to have an empty van going back to Glasgow the next day. We quickly sorted the details and my belongings arrived the following day. The guys in the van on both ends were hard working, polite and courteous. A happy customer who's happy to recommend!

Service was superb - both Edna and driver who’s name I unfortunately don’t know.

I needed to arrange a long distance removal from southern England to southern Scotland due to being previously let down by another company, so it was fairly last minute. Edna sorted everything out very smoothly, and made the process quite stress free! I had a lot of fragile items including plants that made the journey safely.

I got a booking just over a week in advance. Spoke to Edna on the phone then eventually over email - very pleasant and organised all around. Quick responses to all follow up questions, even on the morning of collection. Of the companies I rang this one gave me the best quote. A gentleman named Alan helped with the move on the day of collection - friendly, professional and also kept me informed via text (as my train from point A to B was cancelled, I was running late to the delivery). Entire thing was surprisingly swift and so I would use this company again in future.

I had such an amazing experience with these movers! They were able to accommodate my move last minute and had no trouble with details. It made my move from Northeast Scotland to Southern England significantly less stressful. The movers themselves were positive, helpful, and easygoing. They were quick and incredibly responsive. Highly recommend!

The process was seamless, from firming up details to the very prompt arrival of the moving team on the day.
