African Budget Safaris made our African experience easy! Nothing was a problem, Bronwyn was great to communicate with and answered all our queries quickly despite the time delay with Australia! Our tour surpassed expectations and was perfect for our family! Would definitely book through them again and can’t recommend enough!

They have a good selection when looking for a budget safari. Harriet was knowledgeable, gave advice and suggested a few alternatives…..all in all great customer service, thanks Harriet - we had a wonderful time at Aquila Game reserve!

Daniel at African Budget Safari made our trip so easy. We stayed at Umkumbe bush lodge and had a 4 day safari at Krueger and Sabi Sans. There are so many options and we really had very little idea of where we wanted to stay or do how long Daniel helped us narrow that down and then was patient and more than accommodating when we changed our lodging and added people to our group. We were at the end of a mission trip and Daniel arranged to have us picked up and returned to the small town in which we were working instead in Johannesburg.
We really liked sleeping in the platform tents. We had the smallest tents at the bush lodge but the beds were comfortable, AC worked well, and we had hot showers. The food was good. The tours at Sabi Sans and at Krueger were fantastic. Our guides were knowledgeable, pleasant, and as excited as we were to see the animals. My daughter loved the walking safari and a close up look at bugs and plants

From start to finish a first class service , from the booking and support pre trip with Bronwyn , the prompt and comfortable journey to and from Cape Town , and the magical safari drives with Johannes at Inverdoorn.
Ambassador suites are definitely with the slightly extra cost and the camp is much more private and less busy than others....a perfect trip including the stargazing

We just got back from another magical trip to Africa and already want to go back. Daniel at Africa Budget Safaris planned a great trip for us again. This was our 3rd trip that he has done for us, and once again he hit it out of the ballpark. He is so easy to work with, making great suggestions and listening to our requests. We did the 16 day Zimbabwe, Botswana, Namibia trip and enjoyed almost every moment. The only one we didn’t like was getting dropped off at the airport to go home. Our guide Norbert picked our group of 8 up at the Vic Falls airport and quickly became the 9th member of our group. He was so personable and fit right into the dynamics of our group. His knowledge of the three countries we visited, the animals we saw, and the cultures we experienced definitely added to our experience. The lodges were all comfortable and accommodating. The food was delicious. The experience was absolutely amazing. We would do it all over again in a heartbeat.

I found the Kiboko tour via African Budget Safaris and sent an email with questions . Harriet answered promptly and then we organised a Skype call to finalise details. She was also able to book accommodation prior to the tour departure and transfers included in the tour at both ends. Their website also has lots of blogs etc to ensure the trip you are taking is the right one for you . Highly recommend the over 40s lodge tour if you’re 50-80 but helps to be a fairly fit and healthy individual. Lots of long drives and bumpy at that however we all coped well . Loved all the lodges and dinners included. Wow Botswana is the highlight! We experienced amazing flora and fauna - it was magical !

All of the transfers to/from airport and hotels was seamless. The drivers and guides were all fantastic. The choice of safari lodges we stayed at were phenomenal and the activities offered were great. Meals were overall wonderful with local and western cuisines as well.

We decided to go to Africa at the very last moment and Bronwyn found an itinerary perfect for us. We discovered Namibia with an excellent guide, the accommodations were great and enjoyed all the activities. We saw so many animals! It was just perfect. It’s our fifth trip to Africa with African budget safari and every time we were so very satisfied!

The trip was as advertised. As a traveler I was very well informed. Our agent, Claire, was really great with good follow up answering all out questions. The tour guide from Kiboko, Weston, was awesome. He was informed, very pleasant and caring. He genuinely want us to develop an appreciation for Southern Africa.

We booked through Claire and the experience was fantastic. The places we stayed were over the top. They were close to our destination for the safari we were doing the next morning so we didn’t have to go far to get started. The guides did a great job of explaining and showing us what we wanted to see.

We went on a camping safari in Botswana via African Budget Safaris. Their customer service was excellent throughout, arranging a once in a lifetime trip and liaising with the provider on our behalf. A minor accident occurred during our trip and they stayed involved after our trip was finished, and helped us get a resolution to the issue. Can't recommend them highly enough.

I just returned from a 14-day overland accomodated safari of Botswana Wildlife Parks booked through African Budget Safaris and operated by Sunway Safaris. We were a group of 11 (we all knew each other) and had a fabulous time. The description of the itineray was accurate, our guides were excellent, we had some amazing experience and even ate very well. I would highly recommend African Budget Safaris who organised this trip of a lifetime. Daniel and Chris were very responsive, answering all our questions and ensuring we had everything we needed.

Selected a fairly large itinerary which included Uganda Botswana Zambia Zimbabwe Capetown including a self drive through the Garden Route. Tasked Claire Monson to connect all the dots which included several flights to attain our experience plus ground crews to make all this happen.my and our trip came off seamlessly as all came together with no glitches other than some weather issues that Claire also remedied even on her day off. our safaris exceeded all my expectations and the some. Our guides put us in positions to view the wonders of Africa in close proximity with wildlife encounters we will remember and talk about for years to come. Our accommodations were all full of character and topnotch to say the least. WE can't thank Claire enough for making this happen. Fantastic experience with African budget safaris. Had a free upgrade at timbavati private reserve in South Africa. Absolute highlight of our 3 week honeymoon!
