I am extremely pleased with the office…

I am extremely pleased with the office chair I purchased from this furniture store. The chair boasts excellent quality, providing comfort and support for long hours of work. Additionally, the fast delivery service ensured that I received the chair promptly, making it a convenient and satisfying shopping experience.

I have just spoken to the most helpful, professional and friendly member of staff at Cousins and she’s given me all the information I required for them to honour my order that was placed with Alan Ward. She was absolutely brilliant and if this is the type of customer service that will be offered at Cousins, they’ve just got one more customer. Well done, Cousins.

We ordered a Parker Knoll Suite on…

We ordered a Parker Knoll Suite on March 11th (with a £1k deposit) which was due to be delivered at the end of April. Unfortunately Covid 19 came along and things were put on hold but since then we have heard that the company has gone into liquidation and it is absolutely impossible to get any response either by telephone or via their recommended e-mail link. I think the fact that they are not having the courtesy to update customers with outstanding orders appalling. Fortunately I used my credit card to pay the deposit (as security). But it would be nice to know whether to consider the order void so that we can move on and use another retailer to actually end up with the suite we ordered. The uncertainty is not acceptable. We have used Alan Ward in the past and have always been happy, but this is disgraceful.

Lost our furniture and full payment

Whilst disheartening to see so many in the same position, we too ordered and fully paid for over £4K of furniture (sofa and bedroom), and got a call on the day of delivery to say they had closed for business. I drove to the delivery warehouse in an attempt to take our furniture and caught two employees leaving the premises with their belongings who were told all staff had been made redundant. We’re distraught as my wife is due to give birth in 3 weeks, and we have no sofa for our home or beds we were due to move into and given it take 10-12 weeks, are desperate to collect goods we paid for. Sorry to hear everyone else is having issues. I’m appalled at their approach to handling customers through this.

Robbed by Alanward furniture company.

Ordered a sofa in February rang in may to be told it Will arrive on time which was mid July well that must have been a lie for a start it’s disgusting that nobody has been told or even a phone call explaining what has happened they took £600 from us , this is not good I think they must have known when they took peoples money.

Come on Alan Ward do the decent thing…

Come on Alan Ward do the decent thing and contact your customers or at least declare that you have gone in to Administration/Liquidation so that customers can proceed with chargeback claims. It’s bad enough that you’ve taken our money!! Let people have the furniture that is paid for and now sat in your warehouse or let us be able to try and claim our money back. Not contacting your customers or declaring you’ve gone out of business officially is cowardly and despicable!! Also, why is your website still active????

Alan Ward update..no news and no response, called in at the Winsford store completely shuttered and Landlords possession notice on the door. Next door store confirms our fears

Awful customer service

Paid a 50% deposit on a sofa beginning of February with a 10 week estimated delivery, had a phone call mid March to say it would be in the warehouse ready for delivery around the 13th April. I didn’t hear anything from Alan Ward however due to Covid-19, presumed it had been delayed. I the rang the office at the end of May to be told they had no update on the sofa and to call back on the 1st June as that’s when the factories were reopening. I then tried calling at the beginning of June just for the phones to be ringing out. I’ve sent numerous emails asking for an update and had no reply. I’ve now seen that they’ve supposedly gone into administration, the only chance of seeing any money again is for me to try and get my money back via the bank. I find it appalling that they’ve taken so many people’s hard earned money and not had the decency to contact us. The website is also still up and running for in stock orders.....I wonder how many people will purchase items and not receive them? Buyer beware!!!
