Amazing experience
A couple of weeks ago, my friend and I had the pleasure of joining the Thursday evening programme at Ananda Gaorii. We were guided through a beautiful meditation by Dada, a monk, which included both visualisation and the Baba Nam Kevalam mantra. Afterwards, we enjoyed a wonderful yoga class, followed by a group meditation, and then a delicious dinner prepared by the volunteers who live there.
During our visit, we got an inspiring insight into life at the Ananda, their dedication to working on the farm, practising meditation, and running the bakery. We were warmly welcomed by both the volunteers and the monks, all of whom were open, kind, and genuinely caring.
Overall, we had a very positive experience and left with a deep sense of peace and connection. I would definitely recommend Ananda Gaorii to anyone looking for a safe and welcoming space to meditate, reflect, and reconnect with themselves – whether for just a few hours or as a resident.
