Placed an order ,asked to made a payment to Essentials Depot.. never received the good tel me a week after saying good were faulty.as soon as replacement arrived they would deliver nxt day delivery to me … still waiting 2 months on.
email and telephone numbers have gone dead So you don’t even give you a reply . Don’t give these to companies your money or custom

I had ordered an split Aircon system yesterday from this company, after completing all the required information and had a delivery window of 4-6 days.
I would have paid them over £600 with the postage, if it had been available at the time, However after it said that I would receive a link for me to make the payment, I felt somewhat uncomfortable about the entire transaction so afterwards I decided to check them out via Trustpilot, and I am so glad I did as I had no idea, but I did contact the company using their online messaging service afterwards to inform them that I would not be continuing with the transaction as the reviews that I had just read indicated that it was a scam site, however if they would like to deliver the item to me I would pay for it on receipt.
I did also add "If this is a scam please don't bother to reply" I never did receive a reply from them!

Be very careful, it looks like a normal site but they don't have a facility for you to pay like an e-commerce site because I guess they find them out and shut them down, so they send you a temporary payment option via email. Appliances are priced a bit cheaper than the competitors so as not to be too obvious that it is a scam. No offices or showrooms as they falsely say on the website and the numbers they have are always currently unavailable when you call.
Edit. Later I found out (reverse image search) that they photoshopped the vans with their Logo ( pretty poorly) and used a photo from a van rental company. Avoid.

This should actually be a zero star review but that is not an option.
Should have checked here first and would have saved being scammed.
Their modus operandi with me is identical to all the other people's here.
Bought an oven in what appeared to be a legitimate transaction.
Got a call to say it was damaged before it was due to be delivered. They would get another one and send the new one to me.
Never heard another word from them.
Don't respond to e-mails.
Don't answer calls.
Only recourse is to try and recover the money via my bank.

LOOKS VERY COMPREHENSIVE AND PROFESSIONAL - BUT IT IS A SCAM !

You place an order and they contact you immediately stating that the item is in stock. They then send you a payment link to complete the purchase.

On the due date of delivery, they contact you and advise that "during the final inspection they found that the item was damaged and unsuitable for delivery". They would source another from their supplier.

The oven I purchased from them was discontinued by the manufacturer a few years ago and they were the only supplier with stock in the UK. Sourcing a replacement would have been difficult if not impossible.

I emailed to cancel the order and from that point on TOTAL silence. Tried to phone them - not able to make contact.

I purchased the item in good faith and was totally 'taken in'.

These are rouge traders - do not place an order, do not use their payment link, do not believe anything they say !!

AVOID THEM TO AVOID HASSLE FOR YOURSELF !!!!

Scam website, had to get money back via credit card charge back.

A warning this company are a red flag
I purchased an oven on the 2nd October and I had confirmation that it would be delivered on the 9th October at 11 am, on the day received an email that the oven was damaged and will get another from their supplier and it would be delivered a week later, after having to email them a week later after nothing being delivered they replied saying that the oven was not available and would refund my payment method and to wait 5-7 days for it to appear in my account. The payment was taken under the name of House of Living and after 7 days no refund appeared, I then had to initiate a dispute with my bank to get my money back

Do not purchase from this website!
I purchased a built-in double gas oven from this site as they were the only company in the UK still selling them. I was first suspicious as they don't allow Paypal purchasing however I was able to pay using my credit card which provides the consumer protection. The man called Amin Svensson, if that is his real name, said it was due for delivery in a week after purchase, however, on the day and time slot it was due to arrive there was no delivery. Half an hour after the time slot had been missed I received an email from Amin about the product being damaged and that he was getting another for delivery which is the point I asked to cancel the order. He agreed and said the refund had been done and I would receive the money within 7 working days but it never came through and he went silent. Having purchased with a credit card I took it up with Natwest who even though they were very slow about it, refunded my money after I'd provided the evidence of the emails and attempts to call. It did mean I was out of pocket £500 for the 6 weeks their investigation took place.
Do not buy from this site as they will take your money and vanish, the oven in question is still available for purchase.

BEWARE
This is a professional looking website with everything looking legitimate on first glance. Communication seems good, they even pick up calls. However, this company is not listed on company house, and is linked to company called "house of living" also linked to scams.
They will try and delay orders as long as possible to prevent you getting your money bank via Chargeback.
Typical sequence of the scam is around the lines of "something wrong with your order, delayed by a week or so" -> "product not available anymore, but promised to be back at later date" -> "product not available anymore at all, refund promises". All designed to trick you in waiting.
If you have bought something from this company and read this, contact your bank immediately that you are concerned.
