Just visited this past weekend the Bicester store and I want to say a huge thank you to Gabriella for taking the time to understand what I was looking for and spending so much time me though the shop was packed!
I felt compelled to leave a review as I am appalled at all the bad reviews - people are just so quick to judge though they don’t take the same time to say something positive when granted!
I’ve personally known some of the sales associates in the Bicester store as I am a regular client and fair enough, there is not the team I used to know when started to visit the store but I know Anka, the manager, and she is a lovely young lady with outstanding customer service so I am sure she is instilling the same spirit into her team.
I did have an online order that was missing last year though through no fault of theirs. The manager was quick to help locate the parcel and have it delivered.

I’ve visited the Aquazzura store in Bicester several times, and each experience has been consistently unpleasant. The staff comes across as cold and unapproachable. Whenever I greet them with a “hi” or “bye,” they simply stare at me with an unfriendly expression, often standing against the wall with their hands behind their backs. It’s baffling to see this kind of behavior from a brand that invests millions not only in marketing but also in creating a luxurious, customer-centric image. When I ask a question, they often just look at me for a moment, as if unsure whether they should even respond, before returning to their iconic stance against the wall. Even as part of the virtual shopping experience, they never respond on WhatsApp. It’s a truly bizarre and disappointing experience overall.

This year, I ordered two pairs of shoes in different sizes, as it was my first time ordering from this brand. After nearly three weeks, I received an incredibly disappointing package – a beaten-up, bent box, patched up with ugly tape in several places. Inside, I found two shoe boxes, both open due to the lack of any protective packaging material.

The entire customer experience was horrendous. I decided to keep one pair and attempted to return the other immediately. “Attempted” being the key word here, as the return form, which you have to request, was in Italian. I had to find someone to fill it out for me. The day I completed the form, I received an email five minutes later, saying that the shoes had already been received at the warehouse and were undergoing a quality check. Odd, considering I hadn’t even shipped them yet!

After I finally managed to return the shoes via UPS, two weeks passed before I received another email, instructing me to prepare the shoes for return (even though they had already been delivered according to UPS tracking). At the same time, I received another email saying the shoes had been received, with a new service number – a repeat of the earlier confusion. A week and a half later, the same cycle of emails continued. According to the tracking information, the shoes had been at their warehouse already.

When I reached out to customer service via the website’s chat function, I provided a detailed explanation, only to receive a one-line response saying they weren’t responsible and that I should send an email instead. The customer service was non-existent. After sending an email, I waited a week with no response before finally receiving a generic message stating that the shoes had been inspected and a refund was issued.

To top it all off, I was shocked by the quality of the shoes. After wearing the pair I kept for just 30 minutes mostly sitting, the sole were already worn down, and the toe area was damaged. At €690, you would expect shoes to last longer than half an hour.

Needless to say, I’ll be sticking to other brands that value their customers. Thankfully, there are plenty of better alternatives in every price range.

Don’t go near this company.
Overpriced shoes & dreadful customer service. After only one wear my shoes broke, I was sent the ‘spare part’ & told to get it repaired myself.
I won’t buy from Aquazzura again & highly recommend no one else does.
Utterly awful customer service. Utterly underwhelming product. Waste of money.

Worst shoes. Such, such poor quality. Definitely not worth the price tag and the customer service is so unhelpful. My shoes broke apart after one wear and they refused to fix it. They said they would send me the pieces needed to fix the shoe (IF I pay for shipping) and then I can go to a local shoemaker to get it fixed. Worst experience.

I bought aquazzura shoes for my wedding, wore only two evenings, the soles are completely detached.
Indeed the soles are sticker adhesive only, not really sewn, so it’s not surprising that they can very easily detached.
This brand is too much overpriced compared to its poor quality, I will never buy this brand shoes again. Zara or Mango will do better.

Returns are very annoying and complicated.

Purchased my first pair of Aquazurra shoes last year and they have been the worst quality shoes i've ever bought. Gold material under the toes wore off from first wear (as other reviews mentioned) and after a couple more wears the soles came off completely so they are now unwearable. They refused to refund and now radio silence on getting them repaired. Haven't heard anything back from their customer service team for 13 weeks. I feel like i've been conned out of £500! Wish I'd read the reviews first. Save your money and buy shoes elswhere - even Zara or Primark are better quality.

Bought the rhinestone pvc sandals with 800€’ after just 1 wear the colour and material from the soles of the shoes has worn off! It s like this are shoes made for 1 wear and then you have to discard them! Never encountered such a bad quality at such price! You are better
Off buying well know and reputable brands! Never again buying the plastic shoes!

Bought small tequila heels for the wedding (wedding guest ) , 2 crystals fell off , one I found and glued back . Sent them email about it and they sent me spare crystals super quick ( same week ) .
Could improve quality on the shoes but …. Love the heels so much and their help was brilliant 🤩

My item was not delivered, this company refuse to investigate due to UPS informing that item was delivered without proof of delivery.
The customs support do not respond back to emails nor do they try to resolve the issue at hand. Stay far away from this company, don’t waste your money !!!

1 star for bad quality. For my wedding I bought high heels from Aquazzura for 550 Euros. To get used to the shoes before the big day I wore them for a restaurant visit a few days ago. After wearing only once, the silver paint had come off the sole and is scratched. I am aware that shoes are damaged from wearing, but in this price range I expected higher quality. I am really very disappointed. Also other reviewers wrote about the bad quality. Wish I would have seen it before.

I’ve bought my aquazzura sandal in April 2022 and after using it twice it broke. I’ve tried contact with Saks by email but they never gave me a proper answer. So expensive for such a high bad quality. If an only knew, I’d never have had spent all this money in such a bad thing.

Beautiful Shoes: THE SIZING IS OFF! At this rate the sizing is even smaller than that of Christian Louboutin! If you wear a size 10..order a size 12..and still you will barely fit the shoes.

They really should address this!

Souliers de luxe avec service cheap pas digne d’une maison de luxe qui vend des souliers aux alentours de 1000€.
Commande passée, au bout de 15 jours jamais expédiée ne répond jamais aux e-mail et relances j’ai dû les bousculer et relancer plusieurs fois avant d’avoir une réponse. La réponse n’est que partielle pour temporiser.
L’horreur, une marque à fuir.

I have a few pairs from the brand and love them . I will say they have left a bad taste. Next time I’ll be better off buying from retailers. UPS lost the package and it’s been a month of them not refunding or even replacing the lost item

I have reached out to Aquazzura several times about my order and I’m very disappointed in the complete lack of response from the customer support team. I ordered my shoes on Jan 3 and over 20 days later I haven’t received any updates. I was planning on wearing them to an event on Jan 28. Seeing as they haven’t even shipped nor have I received any responses, I don’t expect they will arrive on time. I considered buying my wedding shoes from here but I have zero confidence that this company can manage a simple shipping update or customer response.

Terrible customer service. You would expect so much better from this brand.
