Really friendly and helpful staff, patiently showed myself and my friend round the showroom, answering questions and giving advice. They know their stock and were really easy to talk to and do business with in person and the next day on the phone when I bought my much sort after new basin and radiator. So nice to talk to real people rather than endless online scrolling.

The delivery driver brought the heavy shower tray right into the house. He was brilliant. The Bette metal tray has now been fixed and there were no problems. The metal tray measurements were different to the advertised the metal edge is 31mm and the tray support bars (sturdy polystyrene ) were 41 mm from the top. It gave me no problems but always best to check. Aston Matthews gave a good service

The best source, at the best price, for Bon Ami, an eco friendly and non scratching powder cleaner for stainless steel and porcelain. Very easy to order, prompt delivery.

I've been quite shocked at the quality of item we purchased given the price. We purchased the Alto 3-hole wall mounted basin mixer 190mm spout and taps which was £700 and the Axis 3/4inch dual outlet concealed thermostatic shower valve, which was £1.5k, both in Urbanite bronze. We had them professionally fitted. Almost immediately they started to change colour, like within 2 - 3 hours of being fitted, they had only been wiped clean with water. To be clear, we did not use any cleaning products at all. The effect was not a "living" finish change as described but a blotchy, concentrated loss of colour, to white, underneath the veneer as if the metal itself was blanching. We spoke to the showroom who insisted we had used cleaning products no matter our protestation. We couldn't have these items in the bathroom we had just spent a fortune revamping. The shop were uninterested in investigating despite our videos and pictures. As a compromise we agreed to buy replacements at cost price with the proviso they take back the faulty items, test them and refund us should they find them to be faulty. We duly fitted the new ones, again professionally fitted, no cleaning products used. Whilst the effect hasn't been as immediate, or as widespread as the first set it is happening again, a whitening under the veneer. When we enquired as to the original set, that we believed were going to be tested in some way, the answer was again that "you must have used products", I don't think they tested them at all. In short I would find an alternative to these products. They are incredibly expensive items. The quality is poor, they mark and change colour in a mottled fashion. It has been a very costly experience and not one in which I feel we were supported or listened to by Aston Matthews, Avoid.

When I started putting the bathrooms together I felt pretty confused and overwhelmed by the number of items to source and the varying delivery timeframes. Aston Matthews put an end to the stress. Peter and Steve guided me through the process providing expert advice. Thanks to them each one of my orders was comprehensive (there are numerous parts to acquire for each one of the items for the bathroom) and, more importantly, without omissions or errors. Worth saying that all the items I ordered were in stock so delivery timeframes are rather convenient (roughly one week). Peter and Steve showed patience (providing several quotes and showing me various options for each item). The in person experience at the shop cannot be compared with the tedious and confusing online attempts I made prior to finding Aston Matthews. I highly recommend Aston Matthews.

I have been going to Aston Matthews for over 30 years. At the time I lived round the corner. Although I am now out of town I would not think of going anywhere else. The quality, simplicity of design, range and helpful service is always first rate and if you need a spare part then they can usually track it down and get it for you.

Wonderful quality cast iron baths - we have two now. And delivered promptly at a time to suit us. Couldn’t be better

The bathroom design service was excellent: we were very pleased both with the initial design, the imaginative solutions proposed, and the attention to detail in the follow-up. Our designer was very helpful throughout, as were the staff in our local showroom. Our bathroom is transformed: not only is it user-friendly, it also looks wonderful!

The response from your shop in Islington was very good and helpful. Unfortunately I was directed to call another part of the company to order a replacement part for my shower. I placed the order but when there was a delay in receiving the part I discovered the order was not made with supplier. This was then rectified.

Love Aston Matthews and the team, Steve as ever made it all so simple to design an amazing bathroom
