Very helpful generally but for the mechanic who has to work on factory times all the time you need provide a defibrillator and maybe assist with the cremation of the technician

To anyone looking to get this auto data STOP, some of their data is not correct!!! (you should not have to double check specs, with your, and there are a lot of motorcycles that are not even listed, and when you go to the estimator part of this app, there is no labor time listed as well as, there customer service, (well there is none) and when you try to cancel with these people they don’t respond and reup you any ways, the only way you can get them to respond is tell them you are going to cancel your credit card, there program is junk, now if you want a really good motorcycle app, look up service manager pro comprehensive solutions they are a little more expensive but there program is the real thing, and they offer 10 times more stuff and it’s all Accurate and if you have a problem there customer service is outstanding, they pick up there phone and walk you through things,

Absolute shower of rip-off merchants. I took the 1 month trial to see what the software was like, tbh it was not bad but didnt really meet my needs so i filled outhe cancellation form. Heard nothing back, so filled outthe form again. Still nothing. One more try i thought...still nothing. So with one day to go i tried again, this time using OBS to record the whole cancellation process. I also transfered money out my account leaving only a few quid in it in case they tried to swipe. Funnily enough, one day after the trial ends they contact me. Not to say my account was cancelled but to say they had renewed it but couldnt get money out my account. I emailed them with screenshots of the process of cancellation and asked them not to request any more money. I also contacted my bank and they sent a request to Autodata to stop requesting money as well. Low and behold the next day there was another declined payment notification from Autodata. My bank is now in he process of changing over my card. This company are breaking all sorts of laws i believe. They have been asked to stop taking payments for a service thats been cancelled and yet they are still trying it on. Thats theft in my books. They also ignore all emails sent to them.
DO NOT USE THIS MERCHANT FOR ANYTHING

On a 1 to 10 scale of a bad experience this company rates 10.

I had a trial account with them, decided to not continue, filled up a cancellation form on their website, hit "Send", no email confirmation, nothing. Today they try to charge me for renewal. Terribly dishonest business practice. I need to pay cause their software is either glitchy or designed to not let people cancel their trial accounts.

Very unstable, system is down again!
Expensive for the service we get. Support not answering phones and no updates.

We are a garage in Peterborough and need Autodata daily for technical information and for quoting.
The system went down and we contacted Autodata and was informed that all was working as it should although we can still not access the site. We are still not able to access the site, our tech guys believe it is Autodata blocking our IP address. All we have been informed is that they will pass it to technical who will contact is in due course but cannot give us any indication when.

I pay for the full level of service and when it comes to technical help line waste of time poor service lack of data and experience once subscription taken out change terms of services

I was trailing autodata to see how it worked and went over the 1 month trail period , so let them charge me for a month and tried to cancel the subscription and was told i cant cancel because im in a 12 month contract . Absolutely rubbish customer service DO NOT USE THEM .

Autodata sent me an email saying that my subscription would auto renew in 1 month. during that period I contacted them to let them know that i didn't want to renew. they refused to let me cancel. the reason why? you need to give them 30 days' notice to cancel, so if you don't plan on renewing you need to let them know the day, they send the renewal notification. it's a complete rip off and I'm now stuck with a subscription I don't want or need.

This company auto renews your contract with out and contact prior. even when you contact them within 14 days they refuse to cancel. the cost of the subscription is also a complete rip off, the data on their program is often incomplete and a lot of the book times are completely wrong. please don't sign up for this company there are alternates available at less than half the price with better information available

Signed up for a trail. Used one month. Canceled direct debit. 1 year later autodata calls saying I owe £1188. Told the lady to do one and get her boss court ready. One more call I'm contacting trading standards. Told the customer service advisor that I will make noise about this she said go ahead.

Stole our money, upon canceling our contract the company took 2 ending payments. 1 of which I agreed a last payment was fair, but to take an additonal payment and not refund me.... disgusting poor service this program holds hardly any information on motorcycles.... u get the exact same service for free opening up a larsons account.

Renews a 12 month contract every year so you can’t cancel! Doesn’t make it very clear, now trying to force me to pay for 8 months extra!

Has barely any information compared to competitors anyway.

Auto data repair times are not accurate providing a service that isnt use able.
1 hour for a clutch job or anything complicated is stated at 1 hour.

A woefully bad company, their idea of support is to hang up after you have made a dozen calls to finally get an answer. It offends me that we are giving these people money to provide such a bad service. I suspect they know there are few alternatives and they can treat the customers who pay their wages with such disdain and still get their undeserved pay.

i stopped using this service once my 1 year subscription ran out. they then renewed it themselves without my knowledge and then sent me a 1 year bill to pay via debt collectors! do not use these robbing scum.

Their service for motorcycles is appauling they do not offer anything that Larsons motorcycle parts dont offer for free!!!

Our subscription ended end of March 2020 and cancelled the Direct Debt as we were closed to a global pandemic, we’ve been open 2 weeks and we’ve had a very aggressive debt collection agency collecting for the full 2020/21 subscription and fees! Open 2 weeks!!! Everyone has struggled through this but was this necessary?

I will never use this pathetic company again and will make sure everyone I know in the trade knows how petty they really are.

I did try to talk to them about this and they are not interested, rather take one year rather than 10 more.

At the start of the pandemic we contacted a number of suppliers, wanting to suspend accounts for a few months. and put the company into hibernation. Without exception every supplier agreed including, "we thought" Autodata.
3 months in we received an incredibly aggressive Debt collectors letter DEMANDING payment of our arrears. What arrears!
we had an email saying "call us when you wish to restart you subscription.
I have now had to pay these "arrears?" to preserve my credit record
THESE PEOPLE ARE THIEVES, HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THEM. The product isn't bad but look around, there are better, cheaper and fairer ways to get data. iI you have an account with Euro Car parts they have a free data system
i will never ever use another AUTODATA product again.
