18 months with their Aria Pro headset
Bought their Aria Pro headset after lots of research, they seemed to strike a good combination of features for the price. I've been very happy with them these past 18 months, watching TV late at night and taking the odd phone call while walking.
To top it off, the earpad material started to come off just recently, while replacement ones are only $20, which is reasonable, I was covered under their 2-year warranty, so got a new pair sent to me without complaint.
Great headset and great service
I now have a second Aventree Aria Podio. The first one after 1.5 years developed a crack in the headset. I called Avantree and was advised that I was out of warranty, but since I had been a valued customer they would extend my warranty to include two years. They do have a 2 year warranty that is given if you either buy from them or if you register after purchasing from Amazon. The model has even better voice qualities than the previous model and comes with its own charging station. For the money you will not find a better Bluetooth headset, and they have exceptional customer relations which is a rarity these days
You Call That Troubleshooting?
Product —Aria Me noise-cancelling over-ear headphones customizable for hearing loss —worked beautifully for a month. The initial customized hearing test and set-up were simple (and I hope resulted in actual adjustment for my high-register hearing loss, but who knows?) But THEN, after letting the headset sit in its recharger for a week while I used wired earbuds to listen to music on my smartphone, it lost its ability to channel sound into the left earpiece. The only troubleshooting advice offered online is to do a factory reset of the pairing to my phone. That process was USELESS. The only troubleshooting option left is to schedule a telephone appointment with help desk for three days hence. The proof of tech products is in their reliability and their customer support. This product, LIKE SO MANY, promises a great experience but very quickly stops delivering.
Apico earbud better not
The battery in the Apico Mini wireless earbud loses its power within the warranty period and is empty after 50 minutes. The support is constantly asking for details about the order that I have already placed and that over and over again. I disposed of the product and waived further communication including credit. Not advised !.
seems to be trend for these avantree guys
I can see a trend of reviews of the same issue I am about to write. Very similar issues of product going bad just after warranty expires. when you ask for support, they cannot fix it and say take 10% discount. just seems to be the trend for this company. check below so many of them. No integrity in company or the product. Not recommended
Don't trust their customer service.
I thought I was getting somewhere with customer having been told I would get a replacement but ten minutes after ending the phone call I received an email advising me the item was out of warranty and offered a ten percent discount. Clearly not au fait with UK consumer rights law.
Good quality products that work well
After advice from Avantree I bought the Audikast Plus bluetooth transmitter and a pair of Audition Plus headphones for my TV. Both work well, no latency issues and easy to set up, after which the headphones connect within a couple of seconds. Fantastic.
Now I can watch TV without worrying it’s too loud for the neighbours and I am free to walk around the room or go into the kitchen without losing sound.
After sales were very helpful when I was not clear about charging the transmitter, so all on all I would recommend these products and the company.
Very pleased with the Oasis Plus
Very pleased with the Oasis Plus. I use it for TV. To reduce latency use with an APTX low latency device. Had initial problem with pairing but the excellent customer service said it may be interference and suggested pairing in the car. This was quick and successful and it has connected automatically with my ear pods since. Good product and easy to set up. Useful that it has an output socket for my sound bar which I use instead if others are watching the TV.
Non-existent support
They don't provide technical support unless you can provide an Amazon order number. Bit difficult if you're not the person who ordered it and cannot contact the person who did. Not sure why they need and order number at all in order to try to help fix an issue with their product: plenty of companies will help over Twitter etc. without you having to prove you bought the product form Amazon.
Excellent customer service
Excellent customer service. I received a Bluetooth speaker for the car for Christmas but it wouldn't charge so they sent me a new one free without any hassle. They also sent me a return label for the broken one. They were very prompt replying to my emails and were courteous. Can't fault them.
