Sarah from Barkbusters visited us at home. The reason for the visit was to help us with training our 5mth old golden retriever Lexi.
We found Sarah to be friendly & very knowledgeable. She talked to us about different types of food/treats that Lexi would benefit from.
Also mentioned was Lexi's routine & exercise needed. More importantly Sarah talked to us & showed us how to deal with Lexi's bad behaviour which includes barking & jumping up us & visitors. Although Lexi is only a puppy we felt any behaviour issues needed to be dealt with sooner rather than later, that is why we contacted Barkbusters & and so far we have not been disappointed.

Lee was very informative and the information he gave me has really helped with the issues Im having with my dog

All methods for various behaviour problems seem to work, some are instant and some it takes a session or a day. So far everything is working and I had a 20 month am staff girl who was almost completely out of control. Now, although we (mostly i) have still got a bit of a way to go, things are completely different and after 3 sessions my girl is well on her way to being a fully well behaved dog, the complete opposite of what she was

Bark busters were fantastic and simple to use from word go. They told in touch with me quickly after my enquiry, and spent time listening to what I needed and reassured me there was hope. Simple to book and communicate with. Tom was brilliant, from the moment he arrived to the moment he left, he was professional, patient and shared his vast amount of knowledge, advice and training ability. We learned a lot and would highly recommend.

Gavin was brilliant. He explained everything to us, and then worked with us and Brian to help with his training. A lot to take in all at once, but he left us with all the information we need.

Lee visited on Friday and gave me some training aids. can’t believe the difference in my dog!! Today is the first time in 18 months that i have been able to visit a cafe without him barking constantly. He didn’t bark once. Absolutely delighted.

Lee arrived and was observing the dogs straight off. He taught us a command which we are working on and is improving our dog's behaviour straight away

Our trainer Sydney is very knowledgeable and has given us lots of advice and recommendations going forward and we look forward to seeing the results after putting in the work, even nutritional advice, that was very thought provoking, very educational.

Sarah was fantastic, she was quick to respond to our initial enquiry and spent time talking about our routines and concerns before her visit. We know as owners that our dog’s behaviour is a result of our actions and my husband in particular was not looking forward to the idea of being trained himself. Sarah put us at ease immediately and her easy style of humour and expert knowledge, was really supportive and helpful. After just one session we have seen a massive improvement in their response to visitors and the doorbell. I am now able to walk both dogs at the same time without getting pulled to the park. We are looking forward to our follow up sessions on recall!

We contacted our local Barkbuster trainer, Ben, for help with the behaviour of our 7 month Sprocker puppy. Specifically, jumping up, barking, separation anxiety, pulling on lead, and generally not listening to us.
On initial 3hr visit from Ben he took the time to explain the theory behind the training methods. He showed us techniques on how to manage our dog and for the first time we felt that things were going to improve. He rather trained us than the dog, and since that first visit we have a much more settled and relaxed dog. The training methods are firm but fair, and our dog is much happier, with us being in control of him rather than the other way around!
Worth the money definitely.

This review will get deleted, like any negative ones. My advice is to check forums such as reddit to get a true representation of what you're handing money over before working with barkbusters.

Fabulous training session with Ben - he was personable & respectful of our circumstances. He gave a clear explanation of the service I would receive & what I needed to understand about my role in the training. He gave me instant confidence with knowing that with strong communication with my dog I could make a difference to handling his behavioural issues & I know I need to commit to make our lives better.

Our first appointment was incredibly effective in supporting our dog to transition from "top dog."
Kirsty is doing a great job of helping us understand our dogs behaviour and what we need to do to adjust it. In just 24 hours we noticed a big difference.

Kirsty was very friendly and knowlegble and taught us some great techniques to try and keep up with Obi
