Brilliant experience end to end
Brilliant experience end to end, from the helping to make the right choose for me and my family to the collection of the car this week :) Matt Gilbert was super professional the whole way through the process you are lucky to have him! :)
Very disappointing experience
Very disappointing experience with my BMW X1 Blue purchase.
The salesperson was great initially, but once the car was handed over, everything went downhill. The vehicle had strong diesel fumes entering the cabin (dangerous with a 4-month-old baby), creaking suspension, perishing tyres, and safety struts that were three years out of date — all supposedly after passing an Approved Used check and MOT.
Although they eventually paid for the struts, there was no accountability for selling a car in that condition. When I exercised my right to reject within 30 days under the Consumer Rights Act, I was met with distance selling regulations when I had picked the car up at the dealership.
The refund process was equally frustrating — I had to wait in the showroom for 90 minutes to receive £15.9k back after being told it couldn’t be done that day. My cancelled warranty refund was also delayed and only partially repaid due to crude sales tactics.
Overall, very poor preparation standards and even worse after-sales service. Not what you expect from a BMW dealership.

If i could rate more than 5 stars I would! Matt Gilbert is a credit to the Group 1 BMW team in Farnborough, he is very professional and couldnt do enough to help when purchasing my new car. Kept me informed every step of the way and i even got a car unveiling when collecting it!...Highly recommended! :D

I was contacted by George Brown as my finance agreement began to come to an end. He was great at listening to what I was looking for and my budget. He arranged for me to arrive in Farnborough and test drive the version of my car before it was delivered and was extremely helpful and efficient throughout the entire process. He’s a fantastic sales executive.
Unfortunately he wasn’t available on my day of collection but he handed me over to his trusted colleague Matt Gilbert who was amazing at stepping in and getting the final pieces sorted on the day of collection. He helped unveil my new car, get it set up to my phone, gave a tour of how the car works and helped me to get my insurance changed over.
Both George and Matt were fantastic and I’d recommend their support to anyone.

WOW! What a great experience.
WOW! What a great experience I had. We saw a car advertised at the weekend and booked to se it on Monday afternoon. We met Matt Gilbert who showed us the car and all its features. He took me for a test drive then explained about all the finance options and figures in a way I understood! It was a done deal based on the car but also on Matt's customer service. What's more he had the car ready for us on Wednesday afternoon with insurance and warranties in place. The car was immaculate with an MOT and service in place. The overall experience was awesome from start to finish. Thank you Matt.

Car sourced, salesman and experience was a breath of fresh air!
I saw the advert for a vehicle i had been searching the UK for. This particular vehicle had all of the additional packs I was looking for and I contacted the dealership. I was greeted by Matt Gilbert who was pleasant & helpful in the phone. He sent me a video of the vehicle within 30 minutes of my request, this allowed me to consider the long drive to view the vehicle. I was impressed enough to put a deposit on the vehicle & travelled down 48 hours later.
The vehicle looked as good as described by Matt, who to my surprise was a very young man but knew about his products.
The test drive went well & a deal was agreed shortly after.
Matt collected me several days later from the train station & went through everything with me, prior to revealing the vehicle from under a sheet (nice touch)
I openly admit car sales people aren't my favourite but Matt was a breath of fresh air. The car is great & I would highly recommend Matt, if you look to purchase from BMW Farnborough.

I have just purchased a new Z4 from BMW Farnborough, and even though the car was late, my representative gave me daily reports on why and where my car was. They delivered my car for me, which helped me as I work for myself and am always a very busy lady. David Seal was very helpful and even set up my BMW App for me, which I find amazing !! Had so many compliments from people on my new car as I went for purple and white leather, and it looks stunning. Luckily, enough to buy my brand new car, so I got exactly what I wanted and am very happy with it. Thank you, David, for all your hard work and for making my BMW buying a new car a happy one.
