I purchasse 2 laptop battery from them. I had to pay 20$ for the shipping. The website recommand me a battery not compatible with my laptop, I have to pay to return the battery for refund. It's their error, but it me that have to pay. Will never buy from them again

Failed to disclose that my credit card would be processed internationally (My US Debit card was processed in Canada), resulting in me incurring an additional 3% fee from my debit card provider. The battery also seems to be shipping quite slowly.

I purchased a laptop battery from Battery Depot, which came with a two-year warranty. When the battery failed within the warranty period, I contacted them. They instructed me to ship the defective battery to an address in BC at my own expense, which I did. After sending it, I never received a replacement, a refund, or any further communication from the company.

I attempted to file a complaint, but their address could not be verified for submitting a formal claim. I also tried to dispute the charge through my MasterCard, but the timeframe had already passed.

Based on my experience, this business acted dishonestly, did not honour its warranty, and proved to be unreliable.

I personally consider their behaviour to be scam-like and would strongly caution others before purchasing from them.

Placed my order 10/08/25 in the morning hours. I paid an additional $12.99 Fed-ex fee that promises 4-7 day delivery and my power cord arrived on 10/15/25.

I bought a battery from them for a specific laptop the battery claimed to be a replacement for. They sent the battery and everything seemed fine until a few months passed and the battery clearly started to deteriorate in it's performance quickly. At the 6 month mark my laptop said I needed to replace the battery. I contacted them and sent them the my battery. It was under warranty so they sent me a new battery. The battery fits, but it is not recognized by my laptop so my laptop will not charge it and it causes all sorts of errors to pop up. I've tried updating the relevant software which did not work. I told them what happened months ago with the same emails I was using before to communicate with them, but they have not replied. I've sent them 5 or so emails now. This battery is useless to me now.

Tech geek here. Ordered battery paid for Express shipping. Everything went well no problems with receiving the proper item. However, battery stops working in only 3 months. The return process is an absolute headache waiting for their
“tech “to test the battery to see if it’s under warranty? Read the warranties very carefully and there is a separate warranty for batteries that won’t charge or won’t hold a charge. I wonder why that is? They know! Who is going to take all the time, effort & expense to ship it back only to be told it’s not covered. That is why they are so inexpensive here. My laptop will now not work unless it’s plugged into the charger and once it’s unplugged, no-go. 3 months! costumer service? There is none! no phone number where you can SPEAK to anybody -only to leave a voice message, that they promise they will return in 24 hrs, again no-go. Email they promise will be returned in 24-hrs-no-go! you have to pay for the return shipping Which is half the price of the battery so is it worth it now?AND they know it! use caution or you’ll get bit like I did. Read the warranties!! I do NOT recommend this company! Crapshoot if your battery will work. Positive reviews are from only those that received a battery that works. When it doesn’t-you’re screwed. 🎲

Battdepot emailed me two days after ordering a Panasonic cam battery asking for a review?
My reply was the battery hasn't arrived yet.
When it did arrive it was close but the wrong battery.
It was a JVC battery that didn't fit. I didn't want to hassle with customer service so I modified my cameras battery compartment by breaking a plastic tab so the new battery would fit.
The battery on the website explicitly said it was Panasonic.

Battdepot may have great products but very shitty customer service. Especially when you need to resolve a shipping problem. Namely, I never received my laptop batt which I paid $46 to be sent to me.
I have made numrous attempts to contact them via email, on their website and calling their support number. It seems no one is ever able to answer a phone. I want my money back!!

Scam. Nothing about this company is legitimate!
They show items in stock, which in fact is NOT. They say, they will process orders within 24 hours, but they don’t. They will not even respond to your inquiries. Stay away (or pay with credit card so you can get your money back from these scammers)

I live in Vancouver. You used to be able to simply pick up your battery from here (if fact it STILL says so on their lousy website). So, I inquire about it before placing the order "we don't do it anymore". So instead of paying 2x for what I could get the battery online elsewhere for with free shipping PLUS another $15 for shipping, these lazy people will never get my business ever again.

The first battery which was sent to me arrived broken. There was what appeared to be a complicated return process. However, as I started the process giving a photo of the broken battery, I was told that I could immediately have a replacement. This was sent promptly with no further paperwork.
