DONT TRUST BENSONS OR THEIR SALES TEAM.

We were miss sold twice during the sale of our mattress from bensons in huntingdon.

We were firstly tricked into accepting their extended warranty and only found out it cost us £100 after we left the store and checked our receipt.
Secondly we were told if you don't like your mattress we could return it fir something of equal or higher value but was failed to be told their was a very short time frame to do this.

Our mattress is auful we brought the air 9.0, it causes me terrible back pain and I now sleep on the sofa.

Bensons have flatly refused to do anything about this as its past the 40 days, we spoke to customer services and they will put the blame on you for any defects, "have you moved it?" "Did you turn it" "how big are your bed slats" there's literally a list of 10 rules that if you don't abide to they will scrap your warranty.

Our mattress is 4 months old and cost nearly £900 and it's heading to the skip I don't expect to be sleeping on the sofa after 4 months.

My advice to anyone reading this review is buy from a retailer or online who offer a much longer return policy (bensons is the shortest)
Secondly check out this facebook page (bensons for c**p) this explains in full how auful their warranty and return services are.

I'd never never buy from bensons again.

Awful delivery service, ordered and paid for two man delivery service, showed delivery guy bedroom where we were wanted the boxes to go, they brought everything into the entrance hall and then shouted to me and said they can’t take it upstairs, one was an older lady who couldn’t carry anything, the man said he couldn’t carry it on his own, paid for a two man delivery service, to be left with boxes downstairs one box I had was over 60kg (tv bed end) I had to wait till the next weekend and pay extra for two people to carry this up for me, would not use this service again, I would not recommend benson beds to anyone. Sent feedback above, no reply to my email, awful customer service

Contacting Customer Service Team for advice, the Adviser was very knowledgeable and professional.

Ordered a divan bed base online, it was delivered on a day that was good for me. Overall i am very satisified with my purchase, and the delivery team were very good too.

Ordered the bed at the end of May with an expected delivery of 4 weeks. I was moving to a new house so asked if delivery could be on the 1/7/24 or soon after and was told by sales manager that he would put a note on. I received a call on the 19/6/24 wanting to deliver the bed. I explained I couldn’t accept before 1/7/24. Was told he couldn’t guarantee the 1/7 but would call that week. I hadn’t received a call by 3/7 so rang up. Customer service advisor couldn’t get a reply so emailed asking them to call. I rang again on Friday 5/7 and was told they had spoken to someone in deliveries who confirmed they had my bed and assured me they would ring me later that day to confirm the date for next week. Of course they over promised and under delivered. I hate it when someone promises to do something but don’t do it. 1. I was told there was no note on the account 2. Told I would receive a call on 1/7 to arrange delivery. 3. Was told that someone from the delivery team would ring me on the 5/7. I’m regretting dealing with this company now. What is upsetting is I know the bed is there waiting to be delivered

From start to finish Benson for Beds were fantastic. Graham and Stevie arrived to remove our old bed/mattress and headboard for re-cycling. They were both professional and courteous and a credit to the company. The divan and mattress we ordered was perfect - no hesitation in recommending to friends and colleagues - definitely will purchase again from Bensons. Highly recommended A*********

I was fortunate to be looking just before your sale ended - you had good cut-away illustrations of the various possible mattresses to enable informed choice when unable to visit store - delivery arrangement was very efficient - have now enjoyed four nights on the 'Paington Backpain' and am impressed - Thankyou!

Just the price stopped it from being 5 stars

Great choice in store. Helpful friendly staff who let you have time to try out the mattresses without hassling you but are on hand for advice. Purchasing was handled efficiently and professionally. All in all a pleasant experience.
