We went to the Benugo café in the Inner Circle Regents Park. DIRE is the polite description. The muffins were still part frozen and uneatable. The hot chocolate was barely warm, and going straight back to ask for it to be hot resulted in a second equally cool offering. And far from cheap.
The person in charge was brusque and frankly rude to several customers.
An awful experience, not to be repeated - ever! Would give zero stars if that were possible.
Though it says there is, in fact Benugo website does not in fact allow feedback. No electronic contact information.

The Serpantine Cafe has become completely awful. We used to eat lunch in it 1-2 times a week. Having been recently, I am not going there for lunch ever again. Food is hugely expensive and has a feel of airplane food (economy class). So depressing, such lovely setting and such rubbish food.

Serpentine cafe in Hyde Park: standards have really dropped here, whilst prices are high. We used to come here a lot, and bring our kids as there was a kid's menu. But last time we went (2 days ago), the salad was dire and totally not value for money. Anna, the manageress was helpful and professional but what could she say? No tourists there at moment, so large number of locals, many of whom must have noticed the same fall as we have, and won't be going back, or not so frequently. Shame. Really a shame Benugo.
