These mini Kiev's used to be amazing but recently I found a packet in the supermarket and skipped home with pure joy. Once cooked this joy wasn't long lived i had to double check that I hadn't accidentally cooked the box but alas no it wasn't it was far more disappointing than that the breadcrumb so thin it was like it had been spray painted on by someone driving by on a motorbike and the texture was about as crispy as a kiss off your grandma. the disappointment was only partially unveiled at this point the rest was yet to come but I didn't know his yet so I bit into it expecting an eruption of garlicy juice but no you would find more garlic in a vampires fridge. The taste I was expecting was wiped away and replaced with disappointment the meat was about as flavourful as a bowl of warm dog piss would not recommend unless you really don't like someone then invite them to dinner and give them these

Highly disappointed with the Mini chicken kievs, taste is very weird can’t describe it but they aren’t a match to the original ones. I have given them a 1 star but in my opinion I wouldn’t even give them a 1 star disgusting is what I would describe them as 🤢

We've been looking for these for some time,obviously we were looking out for the old packaging.

Then we found them,new packaging, different taste.Says 13 in packet,we got 11.

Absolute disgusting.No where near what they used to be like.
Had to leave them.

Will never buy these again unless they go back to the old recipe.

If you're thinking of buying them then don't.You'll be wasting your money.

I don’t know what they’ve done to these but they are foul! I used to adore mini kievs but this new version is utterly disgusting! Bring back the old recipe , please don’t keep producing this utter crap! I’d rather eat dogs arse

I have always loved the mini kievs but since they have changed their recipe they are absolutely disgusting. Horrible taste. Would not purchase again.

Tasteless … no filling … will not buy again

Had the hamsanwich with cheese they was very pail pink and no cheese ingected in them they tasted plain no taste of ham or cheese. Good for the bin.

The wife and I were having a blast to the past weekend trying some of our old food faves.
Saw the mini kievs in farmfoods and decided to have a pop.
On opening the pack there was a visible difference the crumb on the out side was almost non existent, but it gets worse after cooking and expecting the usual mess of them exploding on the oven tray nothing not a single bit.
We got to snacking on these the meat was almost Grey with the texture of what I can only imagine eating mud it was soft and gritty all at the same time and the filling there was none we opened all 14 (must be a bonus bag) and found the tiniest amount in one possibly two.
Needless to say they went in the bin.
As a child these little bombs exploded in your mouth you could take off all the crumb from the out side and see the white meat but alas no more.
Will never eat this muck again

I have eaten Bernard Matthews products all through my life. I’m now 41 years old. Also was a go to for my kids for a quick meal when they was grown-up. I’ve had a few Bernard Matthews products lately and they have been absolutely disgusting. Cheap shite hard tasteless. I will no longer be buying anything from Bernard Matthews.

Absolutely revolting, will not be buying again. Was so looking forward to these for my tea with savoury rice, ate the rice and ate one half of the Kiev.

Mini Kiev was one of my favourite not now, I would not give a dog it it is disgusting why on earth they would think people would like that crap I do not no also to sell 13 instead of 15 and keep the price the same is taking the mik

Just had the mini kievs and feel sick i never throw food away but they taste like cardboard and feet . Have a few packs left but will be throwing them in the bin.

I thought yaaaaaay when I found Matthews turkey drummer's in the supermarket last week.
OMG! what happened, they used to be tasty, slightly spicy and well seasoned with that unmistakable turkey juicy flavor!
These tasted of nothing! Absolutely awful. Such a shame.

Only gave 1 star cos I had too, please got back to the original recipe from 20-30 years ago. The new recipe is vile, the texture is absolutely disgusting, there is zero seasoning extremely bland. Will never buy again they were terrible. I used to live off these they were my favourite food.

What on earth did you do?!!! I’m a picky eater like severely and I loved their mini turkey kievs they were just the best and now they’re DRY, TASTELESS, BLAND and just overall AWFUL. Will not be buying these again soooo disappointed!!! Dog biscuits taste better. Think everyone should get compensation for such disgusting “food”

So disappointed with the new mini chicken Kiev recipe.. these used to be a family favourite the creamy garlic sauce, soft with a crumbly outside. Now rock hard and taste like sick.. will not be buying again! Sort it out Bernard Matthew’s why change a good thing…

Mini Kievs ... always loved them by all the family, bought three bags of them as they were on offer in Iceland, what a waste of money... Grey slimey so called meat and no rich sauce in the middle, couldn't even finish one ball.. not even my cat would eat them and she used to love these. Unfortunately they went in the bin with the other two unopened bags. Never again, YUCK

Kiev balls are now revolting! Never will I buy these again. They used to be my guilty pleasure but now, nothing is right with them, the coating, the filling and the meat are all VILE! Don't change something that is perfect just to save money. Surely no one will buy them now and profits will drop dramatically.

I use to buy the Bernard Matthews Mini Kievs, when it was in the original orange packaging, which stood out from their other products.
They then decided to change the packaging and a new recipe. They now taste so synthetic and hardly any sauce inside them. I tried these twice, just to make sure it wasn't just a dodgy pack, but no, both were the same. They have lost a loyal customer. The only reason I can think of them changing it, is cheaper production costs, but still selling at the same price.

I'm sure I am not the only one that has noticed this big change. Do bring the original recipe ones back, even if it costs a bit more.
