Recently brought a new Tiger 660 Sports from Bill Smith. I dealt with by David Davis who gave me a good trade in price for my bike. I was treated in a very professional and courteous manner. I ask for a number of extras to be fitted which they did. I was kept informed of when my bike was due in. On the day I went to pick up my bike the whole process was made very simple.
Today (29/06/2022 Wednesday) I took the bike for its first service. I think it was Ben (Service Manager) who I was served by, he said it should take about 1hr and a half to service my bike. As good as his promise the bike was ready on time. He explained what was carried out on the service, he was extremely helpful and friendly. While I was there another gentleman called Phil helped me set up my Bluetooth settings on my bike, which was very kind of him.
I would like to thank all of the staff at Bill Smiths for making the purchase of my new bike and my first service such a nice experience.

Zero customer service. Do they not want to sell bikes? The attitude of the sarcastic sales individual (which I believe was the entitled one) couldn't be more cold than a frozen chicken. Well they've just lost my many years of business of new bikes and services and now a Triumph dealer in Blackburn has just taken a new order for my new Tiger GT fully loaded. Service was exceptional and very friendly.

Where do I start? My husband recently bought a brand new 2022 Fireblade from Smiths Honda - cracking service there by Sarah. Shame the same couldn’t be said for Bill Smiths. I rang on Monday evening and asked to speak to Kieran (sales and finance man), the lady who answered said he was on the phone and took my number to call me back. I want to purchase a used bike for bike rally’s rather than the brand new bike be used. No call back Monday I rang Tuesday, the chap who answered the phone said Kieran was tied up with motorbike handovers and could he help, I explained I wanted to purchase a bike I had seen on Sunday in the store. He said he would email Kieran with my details….still no call back - it’s now Tuesday night!! I guess they don’t want my business? Oh well the £9k cash I have for a bike will be used on another bike I am interested in from CMC Bikes in Cannock. I recently purchased a motorbike from there for my son - absolutely fantastic customer service and a follow up call too making sure everything was in order. Oh well Bill Smiths you’ve not only lost a sale but also my custom along with my husbands and sons custom.

Absolutely Shocking customer service from Bill Smiths got told Kieran would return My call regarding purchase of a new bike . No call back left a message on Monday Evening and Tuesday Morning.

I was looking at purchasing a new bike for my husband despite the money spent in this store in the past Absolutely disgusted.

I will not be shopping here again I recommend CMC Cannock as they go above and beyond to help and assist you

Excellent service from Bill Smith’s Motors, just purchased bike Harley and everything including delivery with updates as to when bike would be ready, can not fault anything,Would definitely recommend.Brian & Erin.

Bought a speed twin, was promised it would be serviced, it wasn't. Salesman very aloof, don't reply to emails, don't remember what day you are picking up, incorrect data in bike advertising, go for a spare part, computer says yes we have one, shelf says no. Slack as f__k, not impressed at all.

Crap, parts take an age to arrive and you have to call them to check if parts have arrived yet rather than them letting you know, that’s if they can be bothered answering the parts dept phone.

One to avoid.

Excellent and knowledgeable staff. Had a minor issue with my new Triumph and the guys at Bill Smiths particularly Phil, bent over backwards on my behalf and resolved it to my complete satisfaction. Service centre top notch and efficient. I have bought many bikes over the years from the likes of BMW main dealers but these guys are genuinely a cut above. Well done, would highly recommend.

Called into Bill Smiths Triumph in Chester with an exhaust flap issue on my Triumph Daytona 675 R. The bike is covered under the Triumph Approved/Used Warranty.

Was completely fobbed off by the service adviser claiming that they do not fix bikes under the Triumph Approved/Used Warranty Scheme (despite being a Triumph Dealer!!) as they are not registered with the warranty claims handler, as in the past it took them 6 months to get paid for any work they done. The service guy was more that happy to book me in and make me pay for the work - despite the bike being under a Triumph warranty...hmmmm.
I left Bill Smiths completely fuming, knowing that the service guy was giving me the run around.
I reported the issue to the supplying dealer, who in turn got the Triumph Business Development manager involved.
Needless to say, as off today (27.03.19) Bill Smiths have not got in touch to collect and repair my bike under warranty...a great example of being fobbed off by the service dept at Bill Smiths Triumph Chester.

Love Bill Smith's! A decent selection of bikes to look at, staff are great, really friendly and go the extra mile. Always a warm welcome by name, and ask how I'm getting on with the bike that I bought from there. Always got the time and willingness to help - all this is why I keep coming back. Might be slightly more expensive than some other places, but well worth it knowing that you'll be well looked after. Have recommended to friends looking for a new bike as I feel confident that the team at Bill Smith's will take care of them.
