Came in for a pair of walking boots. Great choice.Left with a super pair with the help from Matt.

The returns policy was great, and I exchanged a pair of hiking shoes with another pair from a different brand… excellent customer service!

The shop was fairly well stocked and well presented but the help from Lou made all the difference. She approached with a friendly and easy manner and engaged in a helpful, but non-pushy, conversation. When she couldn't answer a question she was happy to ask for information from a manager and her efforts helped me to make a choice and I therefore made a purchase. Thank you Lou!

Great service - incredible knowledge and patience

I was really lucky this morning. I went into blacks in Newport looking for hiking boots. Liv was there to help me and she could not have done more.

Really knew her stuff and very patient. Came out with 2 pairs for different purposes thanks to he taking the time to understand my needs and explain the different between the products.

A busy Saturday in the shop but she did not rush me.

A real credit to Blacks.

I went to the isle of wight branch to buy walking boots, the assistant was so helpful nothing was too much trouble. She was very pleasant & friendly. If it was always like this when shopping you would always go back.

Had to return a faulty tent that i purchased online. After contacting customer services i was asked to return the tent to my nearest store which is Newport on the Isle of Wight. On entering the store i was greeted at the desk by an assistant called Shell who with a concerned smile listened to my problem. After explaining everything to her she called customer services immediately for me without any fuss. After a while on the phone Shell did all the work for me and made sure i received my full refund. I must say thank you to Shell, but also to all the staff in this shop as i have shopped there many times and always left feeling happy and satisfied. In my opinion the area manager should be very proud of the staff they have in this store.

Had to go into blacks today as my air tent was faulty. Fay was a great help and helped us to solve the issue and put in a refund claim and thank you to Matt who came out in the rain to carry the tent in to the store.

Searching for a roll at for a motorcycle camping trip. OEX traverse 3/4 for £25 in the sale plus Blue light card discount. Fay and the other staff at the Newport Isle of Wight branch were really knowledgeable and helpful 😎🤙

Went into Blacks at Newport today as a tube on our air tent had popped, was served by Fay and Sue and they were absolutely amazing. They didn't have the exact one we needed but with alot of time and effort they managed to supply us with a tube that did work. They really did go above and beyond to help us, amazing customer service.

Sue was very helpful and a genuinely friendly member of staff, she assisted my brother in buying a suitable waterproof rab jacket and complimented me on my purchase of a rab zip up

I went into blacks today to try and buy a winter jacket, I couldn't find any so I asked one of the staff members (Fay) if they had any winter jackets in, she then checked in the back and brought me the exact jacket I had wanted, she was very nice to everyone, thanks to Fay I bought the jacket I had wanted. Thank you for your amazing customer service.
