First and last time ordering from these jokers issue a refund for an item without telling me they can not supply it first. Still advertising item for sale.

Missing item... Again! The products themselves are great, especially for kids. But this isn't the first time I've had missing items from my delivery. I ordered 2 soft shell jackets and 2 trainers. But only received 1 over the trainers. I'm not sure what's going one. Whether staff can count, or they realised they couldn't fit all the items in one bag... I keep going back to shop at Mountain Warehouse because the products are actually not bad for the price. They've got a lot of variety of colours and sizes for kids. I really like their fleeces and socks. But is it really worth the hassle of going through the ball ache of contacting customer services (who only respond if I put a bad review here). And judging by the other reviews this seems to be a trend. Having 4 stars isn't good, this is a sign of a failing company. Anything below a 97% product success rate is not good. As one of the few remaining British outdoor shops, I really hope they can sort this out.

This review isn't a reflection of the products, it is of one aspect of the company that is really letting them down.

We, as a family, simply LOVE Mountain Warehouse, their products and customer service!

I have a faulty item but don’t have the original receipt. I contacted customer service, as they should be able to locate the purchase in the system using the store address, date, and value (the item has a 3-year warranty). It would be great to have quicker customer service—perhaps they are multitasking on chat, which makes it quite slow. That said, I’m generally happy with Mountain Warehouse products.

Companies selling products that are "down filled" ie from feathers, are dealing with the trade of farms that pluck feathers from living birds, causing intense pain & trauma. see "four paws" web site & videos . OR from the meat industry. slaughter houses are not humane. buy products using plant based & recycled product insulation. Dont wear torture & death.

Order lost in transit (Evri). They did issue a refund after I chased it up, but no confidence in ordering from them again.
They asked for feedback, which is quite a long form, but you can't submit it unless you sign up to receive offers (right at the end), which I don't want as its doubtful I'd purchase online with them again.
It would have been 3 stars as they did issue a no quibble refund, but downgraded to 2 due to misleading and aggressive sales tactics when asking for feedback - they just want you to sign up to their marketing list.

Over the past few years I have purchased several pairs of men's Trek II trousers in the short length with a 34" waist which I have been very pleased with. I've just returned two pairs purchased online because the waist on each one was 36" if not more, despite the labels showing them as being 34". The leg length was OK.

At the same time I had ordered a pair of Explore Mens Zip-Off Trousers in the short length with a 34" waist. The waist size on this pair was as expected but the length would have suited a giraffe. It would seem that Mountain Warehouse’s manufacturing control or possibly labelling control is haywire.

Fantastic Customer service from TRACY in the Durham Branch. I have bought my own clothing from Mountain Warehouse on line for a numer of years, however, I visited the shop with my husband as he wanted advice on hiking clothing for an upcoming trip where the weather could be unpredictable.Tracy showed him a wide range of products , all of which she was very knowledgeable. She went above and beyond to help him find what he needed by checking stock availability etc.Nothing was a trouble!! Overall we had a pleasurable in store shopping experience and my husband was confident with with purchases he made .We would happily recommend Mountain Warehouse House and will definitely return to the Durham branch ..

I go to your cwmbran store every time I need a new pair of shoes, and majority or the time I go there, Jade is also there, she is my go to for helping me pick out some shoes and what ones are best for what. Jade's customer service is amazing, and she will always be my go to for advice.

Quick and easy process

Structural failure on first use
I had high hopes for these, but the build quality is shockingly poor. As you can see in the photos, the side paneling and stitching gave way during a hike, leaving me with compromised shoes miles away from my car. Hiking gear needs to be durable and dependable; these are neither. They might look the part, but they cannot withstand basic trail conditions. I won’t be buying footwear from Mountain Warehouse again.

Have been chasing a refund since September 2025 and yet still not received it till now April 2026. Then your customer service team, Janice Evans responded to me today as of 17/04/2026, promptly forwarded my request to your finance department. Appreciate Janice’s assistance, hopefully to get this sorted soon.

I was amazed at the speed of which an issue with my Animal purchase was resolved, Janice Evans handled the case and was brilliant!

Having been incapacitated after an accident I contacted Mountain Warehouse to change my delivery method for an existing order. Heidi couldn't have been kinder, more sympathetic or more helpful if she tried! So refreshing to have a human deal with an issue - much better than my experience elsewhere...

I had an enquiry and was stressed about it so I contacted the customer care team and got replied to within 3 hours! The assistant Ben was really kind and understanding and I'm truly grateful. Truly amazing service.

I reported an undelivered item. Courier sent confirmation it had been delivered but it was not received. I brought two of the same item, they were dispatched first arrived fine but the second item did not. Courier appeared to use same photo as the one used previous day for first delivery. Our cctv showed no activity at time delivery notification said t was delivered. Your customer representative Gbenga (Ben) could not have been more helpful and efficient sorting this out for me, I did not expect that. I thought at best it will be a hassle, at worst it will be denied. Thank you Gbenga (Ben) you were great. I look forward to receiving the item I ordered reposted.
