Great Scarpa Boots and excellent customer service
Served by the very pleasant and helpful Josh. Bought a pair of Scarpa boots - tried several different makes and styles. Josh listened attentively and was not pushy (which I hate). Would recommend others seeking a pair of boots to visit the Shrewsbury branch of Blacks.

Dan - really helpful for choosing D of E supplies
Dan was extremely helpful in helping us select a rucksack, sleeping bag, roll mat, head torch etc for our son. He was extremely knowledgeable and gave us options to choose from depending on our priorities. He was very patient and helpful-it was much appreciated and we came away with all we needed. Getting kit together for Duke of Edinburgh
My 14 year old and I went to buy a sleeping bag yesterday 17th April 2025. Dan and Josh couldnt have been more helpfull, knew the products, advised on: weight for backpacking, seasons, washing and usability. I was so impressed that I will go there again. This is due to great customer service (noticing us and offering kind helpfull support) and knowing their products. Highly recommend.

New Jackets
A casual visit to check out the clearance lines and came away with new jackets for the family! Great assistance from Josh, who also asked if we were National Trust members & applied an extra discount! Who knew?!!
