Josh was knowledgeable, helpful, patient, cheerful and friendly. He quickly identified the product that would be best for me, (ski gloves), and asked if I belonged to particular clubs/societies to which Black's offer discount. I was very satisfied with the customer service given and will happily search out Black's for future needs in the products offered. The price in-store was equivalent to the on-line price. Good range of products at competitive prices. Very lucky to find the last pair of OEX walking boots in my size, heavily discounted. Madeline was very friendly and helpful in serving me.

Great service when buying new boots!
Looking for a new pair of walking boots, I returned to Blacks after a great experience when buying my last ones. I was served by Dan, who was very helpful and not at all pushy. He helped establish what I was looking for and was happy to retrieve and let me try on a range of boots. The whole process was easy, friendly and professional and I came away with a brand new pair of walking boots.

Was very well looked after in store today. Needed walking shoes and their range is big! Molly talked me through the options and I bought a great pair of sturdy shoes, and got a coat in the sale too! Great service, very helpful.

Fantastic advice on hiking boots Molly.
Molly was absolutely fantastic at helping find the right pair of hiking boots. Her knowledge of the different brands was superb and she gave excellent advice on choosing a boot to best suit an individual foot shape. Her guidance on lacing patterns was also hugely helpful. There was no pressure to buy, only patient and thoughtful assistance. I will also be writing to Head Office to let them know how incredibly helpful Molly was after a very lengthy search for the right boots!

Great service, great prices.
Got some great walking boots for a really good price (£39). The guy who served me (Lee) was really knowledgeable and gave me some good tips for upkeep of the boots.

My husband and I were both looking for walking boots.Alex and Dan were very knowledgeable about all the brands, which was extremely useful as there were so many to choose from!So nice to have happy and professional customer service. We bought two pairs and are very happy with them.

Great range of outdoor clothes
Found a very good waterproof coat and reasonably priced. There was a good selection of clothes and equipment in this store and would certainly use again. I was served by the very helpful Charlotte.
