A very poor experience all round
A very poor experience all round.
This company took my money but didn't send a confirmation of the order nor any correspondence regarding despatch etc.
They don't reply to emails (even though they say within 24 hours) and it's difficult to hear them by phone as the call centre is noisy and you can hear everyone else conversations too.
There was no apology from the advisor for my 'ghost' order and the general vibe was he didn't really care anyway.
Whether my refund materialises remains to be seen but I will be requesting a chargeback anyway.
I would therefore advise anyone who is thinking of using this company to avoid them. Don't be fooled by the attractive website like I was!

I placed an order on 30th November for 5 peonies & 3 cream guelder rose branch. Each had been reduced to half price which was great seeing as I nearly ordered them the day before at full price.
Things didn't get off to a good start because after placing the order I expected to receive an email confirmation of the order but nothing. Then I emailed Bloom twice but received no reply. I clicked the telephone number on their website and got through to Hotters shoes !!!! I started to think somethings wrong here and was I going to get my order. I then phoned the number rather than clicking on it and my call was answered by a man who explained their emails keep bouncing back and my order had not yet been picked.
Anyway 8 days after placing my order I've this morning received my flowers and they're lovely especially the peonies which because we have peonies in our garden I can honestly say they are very lifelike.
The flowers are for our parents grave. We normally put fresh flowers on every week but this time of year the frosts and bad weather kill them in no time.
I would have given 5 stars had it not been for the lack of communication.

I placed an order with Bloom on 15th October only to be told on 28th October, that they have had to cancel my order and I quote:
'due to an update from our supplier, we will not be able to fulfill your recent order. I have therefore cancelled the order and processed a refund for you.This refund will be added back to the original payment method and should show on your available balance within the next 3-5 days depending on whom you bank with.Please accept my apologies for any disappointment this has caused.

And I'm STILL waiting for my refund. Contacted Bloom via their contact page on Thursday 2nd November asking about the refund, got an automated email back stating that a member of customer services will endeavour to contact you within 48hrs. STILL WAITING for a reply/answer.
The money SHOULDN'T have gone out of my account until it was ready to be dispatched.
The company was quick enough to take my money but is NOT so quick in giving it back!
Where is my stuff?
Have used them over many years and products generally super - if/when they eventually arrive. It’s a shame how they seem to have disintegrated into chaos.
Order experience awful the last 3 times (over 11 months). No email confirmation. Then weeks of waiting for in stock items. No response when contacted repeatedly. Part of order eventually arrives with a cryptic ‘to follow’ for many of the items.
I think this may be the last order from my end.
What a complete shambles
What a complete shambles. I ordered a moving in present for delivery direct to my elderly mother with early stage stage dementia. A beautiful flower arrangement in a gold bowl.
I did not receive an email confirmation.
I checked Paypal - money had been sent to Scotts (2023) Limited
I called to find out whether it had been delivered.
It had.
I checked with her carers to find out if she had received anything. An empty gold bowl had been delivered 10 days ago.
I ring Bloom back and ask if they send out the flowers separately. They said "Oh yes... and the second box hasn't been despatched"
They call me back to say they'll send out the second box. I ask for a discount for all the problems, having explained it was a present and there was no mention of the arrangement coming in two packages.
No discount offered. Couldn't have cared less.
Bloom used to be a fabulous company. It's now owned by a large company that clearly has no regard for its customers or service.
I told them to come to collect the bowl. I'll be giving my money to a more worthy recipient.

Well I just decided to post a review to try and get some response from this company. My refund has been promised but never received after a month so something very wrong . Why are they still trading? Thankfully not lost a significant amount but fgs take them off online sales! Rip off!!
Appalling customer service at Bloom
I ordered a centrepiece on 30th May with express delivery as I wanted it quickly. I received an email with tracking number stating it had been dispatched. After a week I sent an email to customer services to enquire about it which was ignored. I sent them another email 2 days later which was ignored. The following day I spoke to a man who said he would look into it and as I had an appointment elsewhere he would call me back which he did not. I rang the following day and spoke to a woman who said it was delayed. I explained I had waited 15days and it also stated it was dispatched. She told me she would check what had happened and would call me back which she didn’t. This morning I rang again and when I stated this was my third time of calling the man disconnected me. I rang back immediately and this time spoke to a lady. She had to contact head office and informed me it was delayed and hadn’t been sent out yet. I told her to cancel my order and refund my money. She told me she had to check and I could hold the line or she would call me back. When I asked her if she would definitely call me back as the other two hadn’t she didn’t answer , so I assumed that meant no held on.
She eventually informed me that the order would be cancelled. When I asked about refund she told me that would occur once my order was cancelled.
I have never found such incompetent customer service who don’t answer emails or help customers on the phone. Their policy states if an order is delayed or you have to wait over the 7 days they inform you by email. I shall wait to see if I receive my refund as the centrepiece was not cheap and if not I will have to take legal advice.
If they do not improve they will lose a lot of customers. There are other companies who are happy to help
Feather garland and poinsettia wreath
I rarely ever write a review let alone a bad one but 1. after the service I received 2. hearing my mothers story about returns (which echoed mine) and 3. seeing I am not the only person appalled by the customer service at this company I feel compelled to.
I ordered 2 items and neither fitted the description.
x2 feather garlands (awful quality and covered in gold paint and glitter not shown in photos and no mention of in advertisement description) & x1 poinsettia wreath (15 cms smaller than the advert description).
I was expecting a nice chat with customer service & to be asked for some photographic evidence of quality and size differentials. I had then hopped to discuss a solution on the wreath and a full refund and postage costs both ways on the feather garlands (sadly you cannot post photos or videos or I would do some to demonstrate the poor quality and lack of full description on their website). But no, Bloom customer services were not interested in listening to me and finding a happy resolution for all parties (which would have resulted in two further sales at a reduced amount to them had they just stopped and listened), just getting me off the phone ASAP and speaking to me in the most off handed manner. At one point the girl said "I only work here", and I did say in response "we should all take pride in where we work". They would not confirm they would pay the cost of delivery and refund & said I needed to send them back the items (meaning a further postage charge) and only then would they review them and if they felt my points were valid they would offer a full refund including postage (I am still unclear if that also means my return postage). I had only hoped to return the feather garlands to the value of £12.00 sale item. However, if they did not agree my case, and I was charged postage each way, it would cost me more to return the items than to give them to the local charity shop. Which is what I will have no choice but to do.
During the chat I tried hard to explain to Bloom that the poinsettia wreath listed as 60cms wide was only 45cms. The box it came in was 45cms and if you stretched the furthers petals out as far as they would go I could still not measure 60cms wide, so I felt I had been mis-sold this in the website description. I liked the actual product and was going to ask them if they would consider selling two more to me at a reduced price, so I could put them all together to make a larger wreath, but no such opportunity to discuss doing this was provided, so lost income to Bloom and a very frustrated and disappointed customer. The sales girl was so rude I asked for the manager to call me. I missed her call and she left a voicemail saying exactly the same thing, return the items and we will decide if we refund your postage costs once we have items back and have seen why you are returning them. If you are happy with your product wonderful, if you ever want to discuss it with customer services be warned you won't be given the chance to and shut down ASAP, and return it knowing you will not know if you will get your postage refunded or not.

Do not purchase from this company! I’ve been waiting on a refund for returned items purchased in February and just been told that I won’t be issued a refund as company in administration even though they’re still trading with same staff and same website. Thieves - should be prosecuted!
Shower of……incorrect refunds, rude staff, incompetent
Had to wait 14 working days before they’d even consider a refund, despite having proof of return from Evri. Now it’s a long bank holiday so it’ll be a month between return and refund IF they get it right. Customer services lady was extremely condescending, sounded completely insincere when she ‘apologised’ and frankly it seemed like she didn’t give a flying fornication. I loathe being talked to like I’m a mushroom, (particularly as I’m disabled and used to people talking to me like I’m a vegetable) and she spoke to me like I was an entire trug of Portobellos and covered in the smelly stuff. Rude, unprofessional, patronising and about as believable as Donald Trump on a witness stand. I’ll wait, yet again, for my money, but hold out little hope this shower of excreta get anything right, or care less.
Products were on a half price promotion when I purchased. Not worth it at half that price.
And I was right. Notice of refund came by email too late to call them and it’s entirely wrong. I could cry. I am missing nearly £100.
We are now on 11/4. All of a sudden there’s a £6.65 return fee on each item which of course they don’t tell you and they cut me off half way through the conversation.
Still not getting the correct amount refunded so now on hold for the fourth time.

Stunning orchid
This is a stunning orchid the pink is simply beautiful and very realistic looking. I have placed mine on my console table and it’s a real show stopper . Don’t hesitate buy it you won’t regret it . The only thing is it’s always out of stock which can be really annoying especially when you need to buy it as a gift
Poor delivery & customer service
Bloom used to be a great company with really good & helpful Customer Service.
I have been waiting for over a month for my order!(still not recv'd) Rang to see what the problem was.....told that there was a problem with the supplier...my order would be with me in a few days... am still waiting!
Do NOT order from this company if you need something by a certain date. I will NOT be using Bloom anymore ,after using them for over 15 years. Nice flowers, but very overpriced now when compared to other companies who deliver ON TIME & the same (better) quality flowers. 😡😡😡

Really disappointed
Really disappointed. I have been ordering flowers from Bloom for years. Always the highest quality and great customer service until now. What has happened??? Wrong flowers delivered. What I had ordered was missing and received different flowers instead. Emailed to say last week and no response. Have called every day and no answer on any line ( customer service or order line). What's going on??? The quality has also gone down hill and look less real than they used to. Please I just want to sort out and get what I ordered not to mention hive back flowers that might belong to someone else!

Awful company
Awful company. I ordered during lockdown and never received the item. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and recently tried another order. Not received it - tried to organise a refind but no response. Tried emailing amd calling - no response. Terrible. Avoid!
