Great service fast recovery highly recommended

Picked my lovely new Stonic GT line S up yesterday and I absolutely love it.
From the first phone call, onto a video call, a car walkround video and through to the collection day, it only took 2 weeks! The customer service has been consistently good from both Dean and Luke. They matched a price I received from my previous dealer but have to say had a much better experience here.

Kia Sportage FX19WHK - Buyers Beware

I cannot believe how appalling the experience we had when we flew from Belfast on Friday morning to collect our new car from Kia Barnsley.

The car was nothing like Tracy had told me or showed me videos of during our many interactions. I had specifically asked her to point out any flaws or issues and made her well aware of the condition of car that I was looking for.

When we arrived the car was sitting on the forecourt absolutley filthy covered in a thick layer of dust and water marks. The alloys filthy and corroded at the hubs.

Scrapes and rusty stone chips on the bonnet and loose pieces of trim on the exterior and interior of the car. None of this had been highlighted to me nor would I expect this of a 2019 car with just over 65,000 miles.

The short test drive was the final straw. The car was sluggish and hesitated when pulling away multiple times and the brakes felt spongy and unresponsive so I drove back to the forecourt.

There was a very obvious and large stone chip on the passanger side of the windscreen.

The whole experience had no customer care /feel to it at all and considering the distance my wife and I had travelled from Belfast to collect the car. Adam the manager who was supposed to be looking after us on Tracy's behalf never even showed his face or came to speak with us the whole time.

When I told the sales executive my serious concerns not only about the presentation of the car but the safety issues of how it drove she just said sorry, took the keys and said that Adam would knock £40 off the bill for the chip on the windscreen.

Horrified my wife and I declined as we didn't feel safe driving it to our ferry in Birkenhead.

To add to this not once were we even offered a cup of tea or coffee or any interaction from Adam as we sat in the showroom booking our train and flights home at over £300.

We both walked out feeling totally disgusted and let down by the whole experience. I have multiple photos and videos of the car and intend to take this further as we have been mislead by the dealership.

Awful experience!!! Can't leave no stars.

Bought a 24 demo C-HR sports plugin. Jordan Tidy was an excellent salesperson who explained and advised very well. A great experience. Could not have been better! I drove the car away 5 days later. YP24 KHF

I wish it was possible to to rate this company 0 stars as I bought a car from them one month ago still awaiting my receipt and my second key for the car not to mention how awkward they made my purchase by keeping me there for 4 hours then at the last minute telling me I can't take the car home tonight because they messed up the paper work. Despite all this they refused to take any money off the car sent me home with a curiosity car and dropped the car i bought to me a few days later without the full tank they promise me. AVOID BUYING ANY CAR FROM THIS SHOW ROOM

My CX5 has always been serviced by Mazda York with no issues until this last time. The car went in with both door mirrors working correctly but came out with neither of them folding back as they should. I took the car back expecting Mazda York to put right what l firmly believed to be an issue of their making only to be told ‘it happens’ and that if l wanted to pay about £250 they could fit new motors for me.
I declined and after a few more weeks one of them started working again. I got the other working thanks to online help and WD40!
Not sure that l will be using Mazda York again but if l do they will have instructions not to use their high pressure water system to wash the car as l believe it sends too much water behind the door mirrors and into the electrics!

Great service very helpful Owen explained things very professionally kept us up to date and we got our car on the day without any delays or issues and we love our new car

Really good service by Oven , very patient and nice ! I am from china and not really good on English. Oven translates all doc for me to full understanding , and also thanks for Steve as well .

My experience with Burrows Toyota was amazing from beginning to end, meeting Bill Merrick over 3 years ago to help my brother buy his New Prius while he is in China as been a long journey, Bill as been professional all the time and I couldn’t have asked for a nicer person to help us, he is a credit to Burrows and I would higher recommend him

Our salesman, Owen, made all the difference. He was very straightforward and helpfull at all stages of the purchase. He listened and answered all questions with a patient manner. When picking the car up he gave us plenty of time to get to know the car before we drove away. The car is great. Thanks

Felt at ease as soon as we entered the showroom, friendly staff to greet us and introduced to a salesperson immediately.
Offered test drives in two cars, chose the one we wanted and agreed an exchange price within a few minutes.

My daughter has just bought her first proper car from Burrows and is over the moon, both with the car and the professional service. Abdul made her feel very special, was very chatty and gave her lots of his time, even after 6pm when he should have finished work. His ebullience for his job was incontrovertible and I definitely wouldn’t hesitate to buy another car from Burrows through Abdul.

We have always been treated with friendly respect and nothing is too much trouble from all members of staff, either the workshop, admin/reception or sales department.

From the first phone call to Tim Brown everything was a first rate service. Tim could not have been more helpful. At every stage of the purchase we were kept informed and made to feel yhat nothing was too difficult. Tim was always there if we needed any help or advice. On the day of handover we dealt with Mandy Moran. Again, nothing was too difficult. Everything was explained in a easy to understand language. Anything we didn't quite understand was explained in easier terms.

Everyone at Burrows was very helpful and explained everything in great detail.

After trvelling the country to look at various cars we returned to Burrows in York for there great service. Second car from them and will return in the future. Thanks to all, especially Stephen and Simon.

I just recently part exchanged my Mazda2 for a CX30 and I am very pleased with my new car which is excellent and the sales team were excellent so all round I am very pleased with the experience at Burrows of York
