I ordered a product that was sold as brand new, but when it arrived, the internal packaging had already been cut open and damaged. When I contacted Buymachineryparts, they told me this was because their warehouse opened the packaging to inspect the product before shipping.

I found that explanation difficult to understand, especially since the packaging was transparent and it appeared the product had to be physically handled in order to open it. I have never had another company describe damaged internal packaging as part of a normal inspection process.

The product also did not include an instruction sheet, which I had to request separately. I asked the company to cover the return shipping because the item did not arrive in the condition I would expect from a brand-new product, but they declined.

Honestly I think this website is a scam. I tried to order some parts, and AFTER ordering it and paying for it, they asked me to confirm my identity with sending pictures of myself, my ID and the credit card I used, which seems very fish to me, and that they could not ship the parts until they had my identity confirmed. When I tried to cancel the order, they said the parts had already shipped. So, which is it?

We tried to cancel the order before it was shipped days after it was ordered. They did not confirm our order until we requested it be cancelled because we did not receive any notification until after we cancelled. Then they tried to say 5% discount for the trouble. What a joke. I am still trying to return this item as it is not the correct part afterall. In the meantime, I purchased the correct item from an American company (for 1/3 the price of China) and it was delivered the next day. Frustrating to say the least.

Extremely disappointing experience — defective part with ZERO meaningful customer support!

I purchased a remanufactured high-pressure fuel pump from Buy Machinery Parts for approximately $420 plus tax and shipping. Unfortunately, after installation, I experienced a series of issues and spent considerable time troubleshooting the vehicle. I eventually took it for a $200 diagnostic at the Mini dealer which determined that the new fuel pump was the problem. As a customer, I trust the companies I do business with and certainly don't expect a remanufactured part to be broken.

What makes this experience particularly frustrating is that I purchased the part believing it was a functioning replacement. By the time I could conclusively identify the pump as the source of the problem, their three-month return/service period had expired.

I contacted the company and explained the situation, asking for either a refund or, as a reasonable compromise, a replacement pump that had been properly tested and verified to be operational. Both requests were rejected. Their response repeatedly focused on the expiration of their three-month policy rather than addressing the possibility that the part they supplied was defective.

I was even willing to give the company another opportunity by accepting a replacement rather than insisting on a refund. They still declined.

To make matters worse, one of my attempts to communicate through their Shopify email system resulted in repeated delivery failures, making an already frustrating situation even more difficult.

I understand that companies need return policies and reasonable time limits. However, when a customer discovers that a replacement part appears to have been defective only after extensive troubleshooting, simply pointing to a three-month policy does not feel like good customer service.

My experience with Buy Machinery Parts was extremely disappointing.

I expected better quality control and, more importantly, a willingness to stand behind the parts they sell when a legitimate product issue is discovered.

Based on my experience, I would be very cautious about purchasing any automotive replacement parts from this company. If something goes wrong, don't expect any support once their stated service period has expired.

I got a PTO switch for my Dixie Chopper from this shop. It was a direct replacement - just unplugged the damaged one, plugged in the new one, and my mower works like new

This shop seems to carry just about everything. Even if you can't find a specific part on the site, just send them the product info and they'll track it down for you.

Simple order, correct part

I reached out to customer service after my purchase. After trying a few different channels, I found that email got me the fastest reply. That said, the site does have a direct AI chat. If you just need a quick answer about shipping or tracking, asking the AI online is probably the quickest way to go.
