John, Josh and Carlin were excellent. Moved us out in really good time and especially helpful at the new house sorting boxes and helping put beds together. 5 stars, would use again and definitely recommend.

Moving house can be a stressful experience, especially as it was our first house move in over 30 years. I spoke with 4 removal companies, but Camberley Removals were head and shoulders above the other companies in terms of giving me confidence and explaining the process to us. Allan was very thorough during the initial survey, ensuring that all our items in the house and garden were documented. Our belongings were collected over two days which meant that we could clear and clean some of the rooms ahead of time. Both on the first and final collection days the removal and loading process, furniture and boxes (lots of them !) was smooth and efficient. It was the same story at our new house. After the obligatory delays with solicitor’s and money transfer confirmation our belongings were efficiently and carefully taken to the rooms of our choice. A big shout out to Dave, John and Callum for all their efforts loading and unloading our belongings. We suffered no breakages and their efforts meant the big day was organised and stress free. Thank you also to Debbie, who was always available to answer questions and arrange collection and return of removal boxes.
I would highly recommend this company to handle your house removal needs.

What a shame!

We were impressed with personal service this company appeared to offer, and were very happy to support a family business.

After one of the owners visiting us to estimate our requirement we received a quote which we accepted. Maybe we should have been more concerned when the packers arrived the day before our move and they commented “goodness, you have about half of what’s been estimated and quoted for!” We weren’t too concerned though, having accepted the quote.

One of the items we had to move was a bed headboard, that we had recently taken delivery of, in readiness for our new home. It was still in some of the manufacturers packaging. The team loaded it onto their truck, after them deciding that it didn’t require any further packaging first.

The move ran to time, and in the chaos that prevailed as we moved into the new home I helped the team by removing the packaging from the headboard, so that they could assemble the bed.

It was only later that we noticed that the headboard was damaged. The fabric covering had been nicked!

We reported this to the company immediately, and after a series of questions from them they referred the loss to their insurers (that we had paid for).

In turn their insurers denied the claim, as the headboard hadn’t been packed by the company - their decision, not ours!

I’m horrified that the company accepts no liability for this and won’t entertain any further discussion on the matter.

Mistakes / accidents can always happen, I accept that. But it’s how those problems are remediated and dealt with that marks our great (& poor) organisations. Sadly, on that basis Camberley Removals are very poor - and based on their lack of response I cannot recommend them to anyone.

What a shame!

Camberley Removals were great through the whole process and helped so much to ease the stress of our quite complicated move. From the initial thorough assessment of contents by Alan, Debbie's calm advice on confirming the removal date, as we juggled with our legal situation and fluctuating chain, and the totally magnificent efforts of Martin and John in packing everything up so swiftly and professionally, to set us up for our move "up North", they all did a fantastic job. When the completion was delayed by a day, John and Martin retained their good humour, starting early the next morning despite their own, unscheduled, overnight challenges and unpacked us in record time, while keeping all our belongings safe. A fantastic team and cannot praise them highly enough.

This company has got it right. Their customer service is second to none and a welcome relief in the stressful world of moving home. We downsized to a retirement flat from family home of 40 plus years and quite frankly don't know what we would have done without them. They gave us advice, were always friendly and helpful, always returned calls and the removal boys went above and beyond. Our belongings were safely collected, with some help in packing what we hadn't managed to do, taken to storage and safely delivered back to us when we were ready. Not a single thing damaged and we have no hesitation in recommending them. They lighten the load in every sense of the word. Thank you Alan and your wonderful staff.

Camberley Removals were very patient a understanding and efficient, from Alan doing the estimate to Debbie, in the office, dealing with exchange delays and helping preserve our sanity. The packing was done efficiently, quickly and carefully, and sorry I cannot remember all their names, but a great team. Steve and Martin who brought my belongings over 300 miles north and slept above their cab, kept me informed, unloaded efficiently, were cheerful and understanding.

Well what can a I say, everybody was absolutely amazing, our move from Camberley to Telford seemed to be quite stressful for us but when the guys arrived they just got on with the job in hand. Both Paul and I want to say a huge thank you to Steve, Martin, Rob and G ? they worked like troopers and made it all look so easy and stress free for us, they are all an asset to the company.

Everyone at Camberley Removals were so efficient, helpful and informative from starting the process of moving us to eventually moving us into our new home. Andy and Dave were kind, cheerful and friendly even when we couldn’t gain entry into our new property due to a delay in the chain process. The company even sent another three men to help them unload. Big thank you to all.

We moved on the 7th August and were incredibly impressed with the 2 members of the Camberley Removals and Storage team who managed to pack up our 3 bedroom house and "3 bedroom garden" (lots of equipment!) in amazing time and to a very high standard. They also helped to pack some extra boxes for us to keep the timings on track. They were very patient when there was a slight delay in getting the keys to our new house. Would also like to thank Debbie who was always incredibly helpful on the phone when organising the move as our exchange date was up in the air for some time. Would happily recommend this company.

We contacted a number of local removal companies for our move. Alan came along and quotes for the job. I liaised with Debbie before we exchanged who gave me a heads up on when they had capacity. Once we confirmed the booking, I was able to collect boxes and the day prior to the move Dave came along and professionally packed the house.
He turned out early the following day with Martin and started to load the van. They were both extremely courteous and efficient and by late morning we were ready to go.
After a short wait for the completion, they proceeded to unload, again very efficiently.
I would have no hesitation to recommend Camberley Removals for you house move. Top marks.

As a Camberley based school, we were donated a large amount of office furniture by a local company who were moving offices. We put a plea out on social media asking for some help in collecting/transporting all the office furniture to our school. In our minds, we had hoped that perhaps there might be someone out there with a large van that could help us in some way, but instead we were absolutely delighted to receive an offer of help from Andrea at Camberley Removals! Andrea subsequently arranged for all of the furniture items we had been offered (quite a lot!) to be loaded and delivered to the school by them at fairly short notice and completely free of charge! The staff members delivering the items to us from Camberley Removals were lovely and they both went out of their way to ensure that the largest items were delivered to the exact rooms within the school that we wanted them.
We are so very grateful to Camberley Removals for responding to our plea for help and would certainly not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for removal services. They were truly amazing in every way!!

Absolutely delighted with Camberley Removals. From the initial point of contact in the office, Debbie & Andrea to Allan the surveyor everything was set up perfectly. A distance move so over 3 days, the team who attended the move throughout, Dave & Joe were brilliant. All went very smoothly and nothing too much trouble.

There was a particularly stressful lead up to the chain completion and ever changing ‘potential exchange dates’ - throughout this the company went the extra mile to reassure and help.

We found this company through Which magazine but will be writing to them to inform them that the service from this company is atrocious. I will also be notifying the BAR association of the terrible service we received and the rudeness of the owners. When we let them know there were items broken or missing, they even accused us of blackmail, though we never at any point demanded any money from them.

The company never bothered to email or write to us about our complaints, in fact the owners do not reveal their personal email addresses, any messages going through a member of staff only. Instead, as the reviewer below noted, they resort to verbal bullying tactics and slander.

We have moved home many times, including overseas and back twice and have never lost items or had items broken before this. We have NEVER received such a disgusting service from any company before. Our removal experience with Camberley Removals was a nightmare! Several items of furniture were no longer serviceable because pieces and fittings were lost by their staff. Antique porcelain was simply sent in a box loose with no packing. Our many books were thrown into boxes with no thought of packing them neatly causing dust covers to be torn beyond repair and many books having pages bent and torn. The packing was atrocious, a plastic measuring cup wrapped in four sheets of paper, yet glass and china packed without individual paper sheets.

We could go on but need to put this nightmare experience behind us. However, it is important to let future customers know these we strongly recommend they do not use this company!

We originally hired this company for our removal..But due to hold up by our buyers chain we could'nt get that date confirmed.when eventually we had a confirmed date camberley removers could'nt fit us in due to very busy period..we were in a bit of a pickle as not be able to find another company to do our removal..Debbie then came up with an idea of picking up our removals a day before completion and storing for three days and then delivering on a Sunday which they dont normally do..This meant we had to camp out for a few days but it really got us out of a really sticky situation..The lads who did the collection and delivery were top notch and i could'nt fault them at all.It's not many Company's that would put them selves out and go the extra mile but Camberley Removals certainly did..And i would be happy to use them again and highly recommend them to anyone..
