We bought IN STOCK professional fridge/freezer pair and were delivered a freezer and a dryer. NO ONE would be accountable. We were told the fridge would arrive 3 days later. That did not happen. We were told multiple stories - the fridge was still in Calgary was one story. There was no one to deliver on the 2nd delivery date was another story. We were called and a very ignorant person from Ontario, whom we could barely understand, and who had one job - that was to force us to agree to a new delivery date SEVEN days after the promised delivery date - with no fridge or freezer. We called and called an no one could offer any options. No one tells the truth. NEVER buy from this place - everyone passes you off to someone else. Quick to take your money and then impossible to get the item you paid for.

I see Canadian Appliance Source has responded with a delivery date. In the ongoing saga, this was not the delivery date. There were actually SIX delivery dates provided and the excuse became that we did not confirm the date. We were never contacted to confirm the date. We tried calling many times to confirm a date and were told to wait for the confirmation request - which never came. I asked to speak to a manager and was advised that managers do not speak to customers. I called the local store and asked for a manager - spoke to Nick. Nick told me he would get back to me with a resolution. I never heard from Nick ever again so maybe managers don't speak to customers.

One day the fridge just showed up - not on August 2nd at all but August 5th - on a Saturday when they don't deliver. We were promised compensation but no one has contacted us about that as apparently no one speaks to customers. I asked to return my undelivered item and get my money back - I was told I had to go to the website and everything had to be in the original packaging. Scam alert - they take the original packaging off in the truck so your item is always unreturnable.

If you buy from Canadian Appliance Source I would suggest the patience of a saint; full availability daily for two weeks or more, the capacity to accept multiple and conflicting stories; no expectation of service or assistance with service; rude call centre people; no access to a manager; no desire to fix the problem and yet be blamed for the problem; and no follow up. It was all round terrible experience.

When we purchased the appliances we were advised that they were in stock and available. They were purchased as a pair, fridge/freezer. A delivery date was scheduled for the following Wednesday. The morning of the expected arrival a message was received that only one appliance was coming and the second was scheduled to arrive three days later. The shipment the delivery driver was given was a freezer and dryer!! The day before the new scheduled arrival for the second appliance a message was received changing the date to the following Wednesday. As both appliances were required to be received together for installation it is totally unacceptable that they would not arrive together!!

There was major confusion regarding delivery between ordering; delivering & receiving and we still haven't received product as it has been a fight every step of the way.

The second delivery fee was waived when I gave you proof of your company’s error. Gesture of good will, what a joke.

They didn't have the fridge that I wanted but we also needed a dishwasher. We were able to purchase one at a resonable price.

Shavon was great to deal with, gave us the info we requested as well as her advice when called upon. Handled our transaction quickly and efficiently and provide us with a good price. We have dealt with Shavon on several purchases and each time the results have been consistent,thank you. Will continue to deal with Shavon and CAS in the future.

We purchased a fridge & stove a week ago and haven’t heard from anyone as to when they will be delivered so it’s premature to complete this survey.

Good service & knowledgeable about the products purchased. Delivery of the two appliances was done with good care. We however we’re disappointed that the dishwasher was left up to the customer to unpack.

I narrowed my online search down to 4 products. The rep I got on the phone was able to immediately recommend one above the others based on feature vs. cost comparison. She was also able to get the cost of the extended warranty reduced for me on the machines. After purchase the product was delivered within days which surprised me. I didn't realize it wouldn't quite fit the space of my old ones, but the deliverers were very flexible and worked with me to find a way to make it fit (which I enjoy more now than how it was before). Overall good experience with this company, would use them again!

This is our third appliance purchased with the assistance of Ivonna. She is so good at explaining all the features and can answer any questions we have. She’s just great! The pick up was easy and pain free. The young fellow was cheerful and efficient. All in all, another great experience with Canadian Appliance Source. We would highly recommend!

Calvin MacEachern was awesome to deal with. Very accommodating and helpful. Best experience ever at an appliance store. We will definitely go back! The warehouse staff when we picked up we’re very friendly and helpful.

We are pleased about our experience with CAS and Ivonna. We ordered a different set of knobs and handles and indicated we’d pick them up at the west end location when they came in. They came quicker than we expected but a phone call asked what city we wanted them delivered to. They ended up at the south lactation. That’s why we gave 4 stars out of 5.

Calvin was great. He was both knowledgeable and was not pushy for a sale. He was able to address all my concerns. He directed me as to which choice of oven and cook top would work best for my planned budget. A very pleasant purchase and I would not hesitate to refer others to shop at CAS.👍
