Chancellors - Newbury Avaliações 

Soon after we renewed the letting contract, Chancellors put the property up for sale without our consent. This happened just months before our daughter's UCAT, BMAT, and A-level exams. We informed them that we were interested in purchasing the property but needed time to arrange the finances. Despite this, they began to harass and threaten us, providing false information about eviction. Thankfully, Shelter informed us about legal protections tied to our renewed tenancy contract. When I confronted Chancellors with this legal information, they went silent. Eventually, we managed to arrange the finances and purchased the house as promised. However, getting back the overpaid rent (approximately £650) has been a nightmare. I have not received any payments or a meaningful response from the company. They are behaving like cowboy traders.

It took them 5 weeks to install the board and a similar length of time to start doing the promised weekly update calls. It also took 3 iterations to get to the property description, with the first proposition just 7 bullet point 'facts', 3 of which were wrong. This went live without approval. I had many conversations with one agent that then had to be had again with another agent in the same office days later and felt that it was me doing the leg work all the way. From offer accepted to sale completion, it took 5 months.

That said, once the offer was accepted and sale going through, they did go above and beyond to keep the sale in progress. Which is I suppose what counts. They did have some exceptionally good agents, just sadly some other elements let it down. Considering just the end sale steps, I could recommend them. Getting to the point of an offer in the first place, however, I wouldn't.

On behalf of my family, I want to thank you, for helping us, especially to Vassna , she is a proficient communicator and approachable. She is well-versed in her job role.

She's open to helping customers find a suitable house, and I can see that she's also fair towards others, not just us.
