Was moved into a house full of damp and surrounded by students. The back alley was swarming with rats and you can’t go out without a dog to chase them off. Their housing officer is never there, more holidays than Santa. Their buildings manager called me a liar in my own home, and told me he doesn’t have to be there. Reading between the lines I got “I don’t want to be here”. Anyway, there has been damp on my walls, the floors have rotted, but instead of moving me to somewhere more suitable, they think they can fix it. It will take at least 3 days for the wall and I’m supposed to live through that, with 2 disabled children, and that’s not even counting the time it will fix the floor. Common sense tells everyone but Choice this is a health hazard, but they have been having me living here for 6 years now, and are only now trying to address issues that should have been done years ago. Absolutely horrendous to leave disabled children living like this. The most sensible option would be to move me to a home fit for purpose.

Avoid at all costs!! Either as a tenant or an employer, do not go there under any circumstances!! Housing Ombudsman and Charities Commission as well as the ICO, need to step in!

Choice are absolutely disgusting people horrible human beings. I've been complaining of damp mold poor plumbing poor maintenance. And I am currently gathering evidence of housing disreapear and am intent on suing these nasty people for ignoring all my concerns and for putting my health at risk they have totally ignored my concerns with regards to myself having asthma and copd. Just avoid renting from these disgusting people unless you like damp and mold and want water coming threw your ceilings I'm going all out to get these horrible people they make me sick.

Avoid the worst ever housing association a total ignorance to health and safety unless it suits them avoid at all cost. They also give out your data harassment is also a problem constant bonbardment via text and calls maintaintance is lacking. Rent from choice at your owm risk.

Choice housing are an absolutely terrible monopoly based in Belfast. They charge £611 a month for a rundown unkempt building in central belfast and a service charge of almost £35 a week. However they are constantly buying new property and not maintaining the current properties that they own. They elevate rents every year because most of their tenants are on housing benefit. They need investigated.
