Order through a app for a medium sized restaurant chain and the order was processed through chowbus.... My goodness they tacked on an additional 10% in fees and took a 25% tip which is fine I gues... Ver mais

From a store perspective, high monthly fees, for each pos or self check out , no customer service , their customer service is in China , they only use WeChat , no USA phone number . They have no technical staff , they will face time and walk you through what to do , to fix whatever issue and most of the time it don’t solve the issues . The card processing fees are j known but it’s about 3.5-4% which is very high , and when you ask them they say someone will get back to you but no one ever does
I used chow bus for a few years . Chow bus is expensive monthly fees even when you buy the hardware . Expensive credit card processing fees and when you ask how much the fees are they don’t tell you , because it’s extremely high. They says differently credit card company charges different, so what is it , they said we forward your concern to the engineers ? Always say that .
Their customer service is always on WeChat group chat and they help . If you have a problem they will have someone in china , face time you and try to help you by telling you what to do .
The website and apps they never finish building after years .
I need tech help, and they basically could never solve the issues I was having .
I don’t recommend chow bus off the fact they have no customer service number no techs in the country , only WeChat and face time to help you .
And the credit card processing fees are secret and they charge a lot . But I did the math it’s an average of 3.5% -4% credit card fee , which is very high and that’s not including the monthly fee. My tablet stand wouldn’t charge anymore I asked for another they wanted to charge me $500 for one, I just bought a stand online for less than $20.00 .
The salesmen after they sold me one and help me set it up, I never saw them again .
Received a text that my order was ready for pickup. After 35 minutes I finally got my order. The restaurant’s only comment was “we very busy”. Never again. Will choose anywhere but a ChowBus restaurant!

so essentially this company added 35% to my order and kept it all for themselves
just straight up grift and thievery My god no shame

The restaurant (yogis grill) said they Never received the order. Now I have to go through the LONG ASS PROCESS OF REVERSING $24 on my credit card. NEVER USE THEM

I made a pickup order via google map order today(by default Chowbus service)and arrived 1min earlier than the estimated ready time. But it wasn’t not even made yet. I asked if the restaurant can cancel my order. She said she was not able to do it. And I was not able to do that on my end as well!!!
And I realized that the price was also higher and 5%transaction was charged…
I will never use their service anymore.
Terrible service, full of scam, over 30% delivery fees, and with many hidden fees without being disclosed until you are charged. I would give it 0 star if I could! Stay away from Chowbus - I will never use it again!
I ordered from chowbus last month for delivery from a good restaurant and it was pretty good but when I ordered this time I didn’t notice that I ordered pickup instead of delivery. When I contacted them they’re telling me that they no longer do delivery services!! I don’t even have a car so I’m now asking friends if they can pick up my food for me. And get this, on the website, right next to the customer service section it was the driver service section and their telling me they don’t have deliver services anymore.
They can only give you a 90 minute window even after the food has been picked up. It's pretty ridiculous.
Ordered for pick up. Store never received. Ended up being a donation for Chowbus?
Chowbus is a very nice asian restaurant and serves asian food very good.
Do no use this place! They steal your money and will not pay it back. They do not believe in a telephone for someone to call them to complain. They do not respond to your chat messages. Absolutely the worst!!!
I AM A DRIVER AND TOO MUCH FAVORITISM/DISCRIMINATION IS SHOWN. I HAVE ALREADY HAD SEVERAL BAD EXPERIENCES AND IT HAS ONLY BEEN 2 MONTHS SINCE I STARTED.
I recieved two conflicting and delayed pickup times from chowbus that were 52 minutes apart from each other and so I waited over an hour (exactly 1 hour and 17 minutes) from the time I placed my order which originally said I would have to wait 25 minutes.
Like others, I'm very frustrated with their ridiculous delivery times. 2.5 hours for a 20 minute drive is unacceptable.
Awful experience with customer services. I've been a victim of fraud using Chowbus and customer services just ignored me after I told them about the issue. The transaction was still pending when I got in touch so maybe with some quick action it could have been resolved - but received no help at all
First time I was excited to order from here as it had Asian restaurants I didn't see before, offering delivery. But that was the exception. My wait time updated from an hour wait to 2 hr wait . I got 30 more minutes. I looked at the map and see driver is at a grocery store... I guess he had other errands to run..will never ever use this again. 2 hr wait for food, when restaurant is 15 minutes away. And the driver is doing their personal shopping while I'm guessing my food is getting cold in the car.
