Know one answers the phone.
When u r desperate and at your wits end DONT BOTHER CALLING THEM.
Ive tried numerous times to no avail.
It's leaving me with only one option.
HELP.

If I wanted answers from a Google search I can do that myself. Absolutely useless. Get passed onto someone that when they answer the phone sounds thicker than me! Don't waste your time! That's if anyone answers the phone...

What kind of a demented system do they have? Everything is routed through a chat bot that says it's closed at 5pm even when it's not 5pm. Rendering them uncontactable? and somebody through it was a good idea to have this pathetic organisation as the gatekeepers to what is left of Trading Standards?

Cab abbots langley i wont be returning there very upset bullied and abuse by staff i have learing disabities and staff sided with bulliny collougues and will go cab rickmansworth or south oxhey cab due to this disgusting abuse i had to put up at cab abbots langley and the another member of staff thinks this is okay her disgusting staff behave this towards a vauble member of the public

What the hell has happened to citizens advice!! I’ve used this place multiple times over the years and always left good reviews but I am absolutely disgusted. My case was closed without me knowing so had to start from the beginning but with someone new as the lady had left. I got a new lady and she kept not attending the appointments she was making for me saying emergencies were coming up, I was sat by the phone with all information requested not once but twice!! I was wondering what was going on as I hadn’t heard anything so call up (not directly as you have to go through a receptionist that won’t allow you to get through !!) she said the new lady is gone sick so I got another lady!!
I have been trying to contact the new lady and now she’s apparently on annual leave. I’ve been in breathing space trying to sort out a debt solution and now that’s nearly up and I haven’t got any further forward!

What a strange experience. I could hardly understand what the person on the other end of the line was saying. I was trying to flag an 'open and shut case' to them - my gym is closing for nearly 1/3 of the month and has failed to reduce the monthly fee on a pro-rata basis so effectively this is a breach of contract (and Consumer Law). Said they would forward to trading standards and then said something about me writing another letter (not email) to the gym. I said 'how much more time do I need to spend on this'. Reply was incomprehensible and something about taking them (the gym) to the small claims court. What? That costs hundreds of pounds when I after a refund of £18. For me its the principle of the matter (and also the fact the gym should recompense all members not just me). Honesly I would never bother to complain again.

Due to the fact that it is understood that, because of the blatancy of descrimination against the working-class by recent governments in the UK, we (the majority) are victims of human rights abuses by undemocratically being denied access to legal rights due to our unaffordability of paying a crooked system which solely serves the wealthier citizens of our nation, it is no surprise to me that organizations such as Citizens Advice exist solely to give an impression that we do have rights.
When I reported a concern I had about the way I had been treated by a local company to Citizens Advice, I found myself a victim of systematic indifference. Of course, I complained about the abuse and was later contacted by someone more interested in the second half of my postcode than anything else. Snobbery is solely ever the doing of imbeciles and deemed intolerable by the more intelligent.

Don't waste your time ringing, as I tried to report a company for misselling items as from UK, delivery in 3 days, when actually from China and still not received after 2 weeks and the first dimwit who answered cut me off, the second gave the usual blah blah blah instructions and said she was going to pass on to Trading Standards, not very convincing. And I have had 2 spam calls since giving this shower my number. This country has gone.

In the past you could speak to trading standards and get somebody could understood the problem. Now we get somebody who tries to fob you off to an organisation that you have told them you have already contacted.
I fully agree with an earlier comment:
Absolute shambles of a service. They act as gatekeepers to trading standards, making it impossible to contact TS direct. I get the feeling CAB are just kids sat behind a screen googling your question/complaint.
Trading standard starved of money are unlikely to have a lot concerns about our petty complaints. They can't even stop drugs being sold in high street shops. Such a good idea to hand over their customer services to the an organisation that makes you give up.

I telephoned Camden citizens advice seeking legal information. Having been kept on hold twice the advisor Yvonne came back to me with scripted useless information. I tried to press her that I sought to know the actual law I could use against my landlord (rather than her waffle) and she said I had to listen to her “advice” which was basically no advice! She also said - don’t bother going to the Housing Ombudsman they’ll only side with your Landlord! That may or may not be true but it’s opinion not advice! Even if she’s said “we can’t establish the housing law I suggest you try x or y” would have been something instead of her arrogant useless waffle! In the interim she also sent me - without permission - no reply junk emails to issues on CABs website! Time the Citizens Advice was shut down for good since they clearly don’t care about actually listening to people!

Had a call from citizen advice bureau Paignton Devon. Explained the situation as father flat is going through probate. I live at the address and needed help with online Devon housing form. Not able to do it myself have health issues. All they said they would is send information no mention of getting the help and what documents needed. Trying to phone is impossible to get through and live chat near impossible as well only have a android phone and takes ages to type anything out. Have found another charity who are going to help with online housing form and any more advice and help they can give me!! Tried live chat online have disability and more before I could type it she said we assume you don't want any help and ended the chat. How unprofessional is that. All the stuff sent in the post could check out for myself.

Can't even get through to them by phone or by chat. Spent over 9 minutes this morning on the phone and listened to the loop machine and only got, several times sorry no-one is available. This afternoon went on chat, and again no-one available. Phoned and was on phone 10 minutes and still heard same old recording 4 times and then 'sorry no-one is available', so tried chat again and got the 'sorry no-one is available'

Get rid of this I say. When i learnt it is also locally funded what a waste of money. The only time I ever tried to use the service in my life they do not even bother to respond. What a waste of local money. 100 percent failure rate. Close it down and save money.

Absolutely useless service, they have their own set of rules. I needed a third party to contact my wife which legally they can. They advised me that policies they have in place wouldn’t allow them too as they class it as cold calling!
