i am chatting online with an agent i detail in summary my problem they asked me to choose from 6 options to classify it none of which were in s few hundred light years of what i described, i politely told them none of them are at all suitable, could i get some more useful terms to choose from, staff member sends same 6 options in same order, i reiterate politely, but same again 6 times at someone trying to get held with human rights violation ny a state entity and i was asking on how to find suitable local legal counsel that does it on legal aid... after 6 iterations i blew my top and layed into this wind up Merchant/borderline sadistic staff member! never going near them ever ever ever again!!!

Wat a terrible service waste ov time no help wat so ever she said she would give me a link to my email which we never recived told us she would be in library every other Thursday but they are not only once a month they are there told me to contact motor ombudsman which were no help at all we pay council tax to pay these people who work for these services and they just don't do their job and are payed for nothing😡

Whats the point of them?. Spoke to a chat adviser who might as well have been a robot for all the help and empathy they showed, and at the end said they were not legally trained and to contact a solicitor. It was a solicitor who told me to contact them for advice!. But their website says they offer legal advice!, or will put you in touch with low cost options. Not fit for purpose

On hold for 20 minutes. Line so poor I couldn't progress the call. Told to try their webchat. Tried that but 'sorry, not advisers'. Tried their form - sorry only available 5pm Friday to 8am Monday. Hopeless. Bring back Trading Standards.

Found out over weekend that ladies of a certain age group will NO LONGER GET HELP. This is due to the dirty old man in andover/NORTH Hampshire/test valley. Girls under 50 are no longer entitled to help. They are now expected to shack up with an over 60. This is abusive and im so glad I have back up. As for the local AA (that's andover advertiser) not Anonymous Alcoholic! Mind you where the name fits. Can you lads stop writing things on there, you made your beds. Time to lie in them!

They suspended all services in citizens advice in cornwall due to huge back logs, not publicly known , this was discovered after internal queries were raised as there was no ability to get a reply from the organization.
So anyone attempting to use these services this is why you can not get through! Its not been publicly known its being done internally yet they carry on receiving the funding yet are not providing the service , so remember this if you are holding on a phone call that never gets answered.
Report it to your MP if you can even get through to your MP office or even the house of commons offices but None of these services are working , you will more likely get blood from a stone than any kind of reply, its clearly designed to prevent people accessing services and clearly designed to suspress the populations disatisfaction with the country and govenment who "runs" it.

I have just got off the phone with citizens advice and the automated review was not working correctly and would not recognise the keypad input when I selected numbers. I would like Patrick to gain recognition for how helpful he was dealing with my Consumer Query over the telephone. I am so grateful for his help and advice during a difficult time dealing with a faulty vehicle.

I no is free service for coustemers but they taken money from the gourvament they not worck for free , ,be onest they need be schut douwn this service becouse they not given anymore service to no one ,
The one in truro cost me my ereditance after my wife deads, i got problems whyd council now and can manege speeck to no one no were , they never hansering the phone , schud the gourvament need stop give them money

I have never used the citizens advice bureau before and contacted them recently about a consumer issue with wrens and a holiday issue with booking.com.
I am very impressed with the advice I was given which has been successful

These don't help you explain everything that happen and they send u temp plates to send to seller who useing a uk address but in another country

Completely USELESS organization maurading as a place where consumers can get help but in practice they’re completely and utterly useless. Every organization I call is deluded into thinking a simple call to citizens advice is the answer to my problems yet when I call my local citizens advice during opening hours all I get is long drawn out prompts and messages and at the end a final message saying “no one is available to take your call” and then the call ends. What a worthless, pathetic service that only exists to slow down consumers and protect the wealthy. They make it seem like consumers are safe and protected because they have citizens advice when in policy, citizens advice can’t help you with anything only give advice and if you need anything more serious like legal aid, they don’t even answer their phone.

The male representative picked up the phone at 16.54 i thought i could ask what i needed to know before they closed at 17.00, the representative spoke quick, didn’t want to wait until i had finished answering a question, i said to him and i quote ‘can you wait until i’ve finished, i know you finish at 5’ anyway clearly he hadn’t read the case notes, cos he sent me the template for a letter that i had already sent the trader, complete and utter waste of time, tbh it would have been better if he hadn’t picked the phone up, but i guess he had to, then he’s in a hurry to finish at 5, he didn’t do his job right

Waited ages listening to the horrific music, to then be cut off to a questionare due to advisor pressing wrong button. I was speaking and the advisor pressed a button which ended the call. terrible service. No wover one hour and still no luck. second attempt was someone non english who did t even understand me so now rigning a third time. this is a nightmare

Spoke at length with Luke, debt advisor and left feeling upset and regretting ever picking up the phone.

He was just rude, patronising and with an attitude of general disdain

Honestly, if you need help and you are vulnerable, you'll come away feeling alot worse.

citizen advice beau was set up to help people with everyday problems and help sort them problems out giving peace of mind.
twice now I have been to citizen advice in kings Lynn and Downham, Norfolk eternity church, today, about a issue where my name was put on something it is illegal to do this with my permission, I need help , was introduced to lady who I thought would take the heavy burden of my shoulders ,citizen advice in church, ! but after my talking for 10 minutes she turns round and said ! WE only deal with FOOD BANK people !!!! this needs to stop !(they take their name what benefits their on, how much they from esa uc, have give them. then are given a piece of paper they can go to a food bank community near them,( I do this so know what they do very little, I am in hub that's deals with this, ) ! that's NOT A PROBLEM, for citizen advice 12 hours training to handle.) the charity was set up for those needing help with government bodies, banking, rents, etc, real problems, as you are trained and given email links to these establishments, which you cant give the public, so now there is no citizen advice, I am alone dealing with a problem on top of all others I have at 65.down right rude.

I spoke to Annie - we spoke for over hour in detail about my debts, and she was even receptive and friendly when I was oversharing with personal problems - she is absolutely outstanding.
Some advisors I have spoke to in CAB are useless, but Annie has restored my faith in the service in all honesty.

I find it's always better to message CAB rather than call them, which I did yesterday. I received a reply earlier from someone called Ben Thomas who supplied very helpful information. I cannot reply to the email to thank him so I'm doing it here.

Plymouth Citizens Advice in relation to OVO Energy. Terrible service, unhelpful, useless.

I wrote to them directly to complain and received a flippant and patronising reply. Extremely unprofessional and incompetent.
