Brilliant customer service
Brilliant customer service. Bought a necklace in a shop but they didn't have an insert for a gift box. We wanted the necklace for a Christmas present. I contacted Clogau and got next day special delivery with the insert for free. Very impressed and happy. Highly recommended

FOC repair on necklace 😊
I snapped my St David's Daffodile heart pendant and sent it in for repair, they repaired it free of charge and it was returned back to me within a week. Excellent service as I expected to pay for the repair as it wasn't a fault.

I am not happy with my experience with Clogau.
I ordered a pair of birthstone earrings…. Thought I’d got the correct stone . June, moonstone but instead I clicked on October Opal, realised in seconds and sent an email to either cancel my order or exchange for the correct stone before dispatch.
I received an email back telling me the earrings could not be cancelled or replaced.
I was told to order the correct stones and send the other ones back when I received them. So I waited until the arrived, and quickly learned that I had to pay for return postage!
There wasn’t any mention of this when I received my reply!
Not happy and sent an email saying so, I then learned it was £8.99 for return postage. It doesn’t seem fair, the earrings online photos looked very similar but when I received them you could see the difference.
Will not be buying from there again.
Lesson learned.

Once you have placed and paid for your order online, the dispatch process begins really quickly to ensure that we can ship your order to you as fast as possible to you. Therefore it is not always possible to cancel your order once this has been completed. We do encourage our customers to take care when processing their online orders to avoid any disappointment especially as personalised pieces and earrings are unable to be returned to us.
We can see an exception has been made on this occasion and a refund processed for you in full for the incorrect order as you contacted us to alert us to the situation.
If your order needs to arrive to you hastily, it will always be faster to re-order a product rather than send it back to us for an exchange to be processed which can take up to 7 working days. Our customer care team and advisors do try and provide the best advice possible to achieve the best possible outcome for our customers and we are sorry to hear you are dissatisfied with this service as it is never our intention to disappoint our customers. Took my Clogau birthstone ring for…
Took my Clogau birthstone ring for repair to Cardiff St David's store in May. The turquoise stone had fallen out and was lost I wanted a replacement stone in the ring. I heard nothing for about 2 months and enquired about the ring I was told that they were unable to source a stone for the ring and it had been sent elsewhere. I was then told I was having a topaz replacement - which of course was not my birthstone. I then rang Cardiff to explain the topaz was not the stone for December a turquoise was required. I was then sent a picture of the 2 stones available - non of which was suitable. I was told that this ring was discontinued 20 years ago and there would be a charge of £164.00 for replacement stone. I have had the ring for 20 years plus - it was an anniversary present. I havent been able to pick the ring up yet (I will not be going ahead with repair) but shall do when next in Cardiff. Really disappointed with what I thought would be an easy replacement repair also thought the cost of repair was extortionate really thought the stone would have been more secure.

Our warranty covers all of our pieces for two years for any manufacturing fault. After 20 years unfortunately general wear and tear over the years may cause the stones to loosen or the settling to wear which may cause an issue with the stone. We're really sorry to hear the disappointment of the repair charge, however due to the length of time the ring has been worn and as this was deemed general wear and tear there will be repair costs involved to rectify any issues that have occurred and in this instance to replace a stone within your ring. We are very sorry that there was an issue identifying which stone was correct, unfortunately as the stone was missing and there are 12 variations of the ring, the incorrect piece was selected from the information provided. We're happy to see the team sent options to yourself and that the correct piece was able to be identified following this correspondence. Once again, we're really sorry to hear that you did not proceed with the quoted repair work and for the disappointment. We do wish to assure you of our best intentions at all times and although your ring is 20 years old we are able to repair this for you, there just may be some costs involved for this work required. If we can be of any further assistance, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
Bracelet repair
I returned my Am Byth bracelet for repair and fully expected a charge .The bracelet was sent and returned fully repaired in less than a week!! .Amazing customer service -many thanks to all involved at Clogau

I paid a visit to the Clogau store at the Mall, Cribbs Causeway in Bristol today. The staff, Charlotte and Dev were very helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend this store and will be returning very soon.

I bought two items a ring and a…
I bought two items a ring and a necklace and took them both to get them cleaned at a local jewelleries. Once handed over to be cleaned they inspected both items as a matter of confirmation of the metals used. To my surprise I was told they are both silver and plated with copper. I feel very cheated considering I paid for gold and got silver. I WOULD STEER CLEAR!!!

Many thanks for getting in touch regarding your Clogau pieces. We are unable to comment on the opinions of a third party jewellers, however we do want to assure you that at Clogau we only offer products in Silver, 9ct Gold and 18ct Gold.
All of our Silver pieces are advertised as such and do contain a touch of rare Welsh gold. This can be found in the rose 9ct gold element of our silver pieces.
Verification of this can be found via our hallmarks, provided by the Edinburgh Assay Office and the Clogau stamps inside the ring. Please see link below for information on this via our Clogau website - https://www.clogau.co.uk/pages/frequently-asked-questions-faqs
We do rhodium plate our silver pieces of jewellery to keep the super vibrant white colour and to add a protective hypoallergenic layer to our pieces making them suitable for those with sensitive skin. We do want to assure you that this is common practice and our silver pieces are not plated with copper.

Could not ask for a better experience purchasing our wedding bands. The Bristol team were wonderful, even remembering the little details of our wedding each time we came in. My custom band was perfect, and the customer care and service was second to none. Definitely recommended!!!

Amazing company
I have purchased numerous items from Clogau Gold and absolutely love the brand. A bracelet broke and I emailed to see if they carried out repairs, I received an email by return with full instructions of how to proceed. Item received today, repaired and returned promptly. I cannot recommend this company enough and will soon be adding to my collection. A special thanks to Lydia for her excellent customer service.

Clogau bracelet…
I purchased a bracelet from qvc which came from clogau , I can’t deny it really is lovely but I rang clogau customer services to get my 2yr warranty which I wanted because its on elastic and you never know if it’s going to snap! BUT they won’t let me have the 2 yr warranty as it has to be done online only !!! I’m not online so this is a problem not just for me but probably a few other people as well. Considering the price of this bracelet I am disgusted. Just beware if you are not online. I’m not sure yet but this could be a return .

I purchased the Princess Diana Sapphire Affinity bracelet and unfortunately an elastic within the bracelet snapped.
I contacted Clogau’s sales department by email and received a prompt response. My item was repaired and returned to me in under a week. I received updates throughout.

Poor quality and non existent customer service
I purchased a the gold honey bee pendant and chain. It broke after 11 months. I returned it special delivery and it was delivered to them. After1 month I called and they couldn’t find it. The girl I spoke to said she would get the returns department to see if they could locate it and call me back. Two weeks later I had heard nothing so called again, they had no record of my first call and needed to check with the returns department as first call suggested, I received no call back so 1 week later called again to be informed they couldn’t find it. I pointed out the terrible service I had received and asked what they would do about a replacement. It was agreed a replacement would be sent with a £50 voucher of goodwill. I had to call again to chase up the replacement, only to be told it had not been actioned. I informed them that if I didn’t receive the replacement within 5 working days I would begin legal action. The replacement arrived but I have never received the gift voucher. I would advise anyone against purchasing this jewellery, it is hugely expensive for the quality and customer service is the worst ever .

Worthless warray
Bought a bracelet for my wife at over £500. Had to return it twice as the clasp broke. They advertised a 2 year warranty but dispute everything regarding the quality of their products. All they offer is a credit note. Poor poor customer relations. Buyer beware.

Wonderful customer service
Wonderful customer service. I bought one of their lovely rings from a local jeweller. but accidentally entered the wrong model number on line when registering it for the warranty. Emailed them explaining and they responded immediately and were so helpful. Lydia in Business Support corrected it at once and could not have been nicer or more helpful - even though it was my mistake! Excellent company - and beautiful jewellery.
