Disgusting. Coffee 1 in Dorchester, Dorset. Dead flies and wasps everywhere. Staff were miserable. It wasn't busy and I am not surprised as it obviously has a reputation now for its lack of hygiene. Very sad that this is how little respect companies have for their customers now.

Never enough staff on Saturday before 9am and long queues. Refusing to provide the breakfast menu of porridge or yoghurt and granola because they don't have sufficient time to do that when they are working alone. This is not a staff member issue, this is a management issue and should be resolved.

What went wrong? Collect the loyalty card points on the app and discover that the voucher has been used. Actually, no; the voucher hasn't been used but, hey, no problem with raising this as there's no interest behind the counter other than to sell more coffee.

Coffee#1 Stratford - on Avon
Went in for a coffee and cake, staff being rude to other customers before me in queue,cakes were missed of order manager said he was to busy to get them,no spoon's had to ask for one, also all customers that came in had to empty tables of dirty cups and trays to make space, staff seemed to be arguing, Not a happy place !!!!!

Complained. Rude Staff! Sutton Coldfield branch.
“My friend and I was embarrassed by the waitress in the shop. We thought it looks accommodating coffee shop but instead the waitress was rude and discriminated us. Asked us to leave because my friend is holding a bag of KFC. No matter how I explained that we come in to enjoy a cup of coffee and cakes but insisted to leave. How rude! We are paying customers for goodness sake! Sutton Coldfield branch, you sucks! Failed to customer satisfaction.” In my eyes, you obviously don't have good moral customer service. All I get is embarrassment, offensive and unworthy treatment. Never in my 20 years in Britain that I am treated this kind of a behaviour in coffeeshop or anywhere else.

Visited Coffee#1 at The Valley Evesham today.
Customers already at the counter seemed hesitant about what to order. I was unsure whether to proceed past them.
Approached the counter past them to the main counter, to come across a young lady performing what appeared to be a “native dance” along with associated sounds. Told the lady who dealt with my order that I did not appreciate this and asked her to pass this on to the young lady concerned. I asked them to make sure my comment was passed to the person concerned.
I received no form of apology whatsoever.
This Coffee #1 seem to have contempt for their older customers.
There are plenty of other coffee/tea houses on this site (shared with Evesham Country Park) for any level of service better than this.
There were more members of staff behind the counter than customers, perhaps I am not the only one not happy with their level of service.

Chepstow Branch has got so bad filthy tables Floors and everything is a mess.
Unhappy staff with soar faces Just such a shame
Needs to really buck up as new clean places opening.

If this company are supposed to be the best loved coffee shop in the UK, god help us with the worst.
I have visited 3 outlets now in Nth Somerset and each one confirms my thoughts on the others. Coffee #1 really should spend time training their staff in customer service, then they should train their staff on how to make a proper Flat White where the milk is bought up to the right temperature and thick and creamy, then when they serve the coffee train them not to spill half of it in the saucer. Terrible experience and after standing in a queue for 5/10 minutes waiting to be served.

Very ignorant staff and sloppy service in Macclesfield Wednesday 7th June, what is happening? Coffee slopped in saucer and lots of tutting when I asked for this to be sorted!!!!

Visited Coffee 1 in Tewkesbury 2 June. Was surprised to find they close at 5.30pm, on a June afternoon at half term???!!
Dog friendly and food and drink was fine, attitude of staff not good as anxious to close up, before 5.30 if they could. Doors were closed 10 mins before to discourage any new customers.

Nice enough café, but totally devastated that my Sister in Law couldn't feed her new born baby and had to leave to go home, we travelled all the way from Scotland to visit and find this absolutely abhorrent, really really upset 😡 😢

Overcharged compared to what the menu price was for 2 x cappuccino and 1 x Americano. Ordered at the pershore branch and was asked if I want dark or medium roast, opted for medium roast.

When I queried the price charged as it didn’t add up to the prices on the board he said it was the premium for the ‘single roast’, when I asked why he hadn’t said there was an on cost for the medium roast (medium roast mind, how am I supposed to know that this is a single roast anyway?) I was told extremely rudely ’i don’t have to tell you’. Then pointed to a random spot on their board that says a single roast is 30p (again, was never asked about a single roast, only medium or dark).

a) At no point was it explained that medium roast was the single roast, b) that the medium roast had a 30p uplift and c) the speed to which he replied about the increased pricing, I clearly was not the only person they tricked.

Very shoddy practice by coffee #1 and judging by the reviews below, clearly all your staff are trained to be rude to customers…

I won’t go back to coffee #1 if that is how you trick your customers, at least there is honest pricing with your competitors

What is about rude staff at Coffee#1.

Just having a coffee at the Coffee#1 branch in North Street, Bedminster, Bristol branch where I have been greeted by the most miserable, unfriendly, uncommunicative person I have ever come across in a a coffee shop.

Just so Coffee#1 are aware, it is a yound lady with shaven hair.

How do people like this get a job serving customers then it is beyond me.

Honestly, the customer service is apalling and I for one will never use one of their shops again for my coffee and I visit a lot of coffee houses.

Coffee#1 get a grip, this level of service reflects the UK in such a bad light.

Visited Ledbury shop today, there was a sign outside saying short staffed having lunch break 1-1:30pm but the door was still open and three members of staff were sat together having their lunch. Went back at 1:35 and they were still sat having their lunch and laughed as we walked by! Very rude and won’t be going back.

Made a mistake with a drink so I very politely pointed it out saying it’s probably my fault but turned out it was theirs.very sullen no apology like I was making a fuss gave me my 30p back grudgingly!not impressed won’t be going back.

This was absolutely f***ing disgusting.

Dirty cups and plates left on tables and flithy toilets in Chippenham store. Where are the senior management?

Great store, with good coffee and nice ambience. Super dog-friendly. Have enjoyed both the Hungerford and Andover outlets.

Visited #1 coffee in leek staffs . Lovely coffee and pastel de nata was to die for , best outside Portugal.
Tidy clean place and seems busy . Go to place for coffee.

Went to Bath coffee1 today. When preparing my coffee they picked up a used cup which had been returned to counter, rinsed under tap and started to make my coffee in it. When I questioned this waitress said she wasn’t and picked up a larger cup off top of coffee machine and used this instead. Only plus is I had a large cappuccino instead of a regular!
