Very professional and quick.

Easy of applying and speed of process.

I believed that participating in the university’s specifically created hub of lenders would decrease the confusion and provide better clarity and transparency between the lender and university financial institution.
This was not the case. 3 weeks transpired after my application and loan amount was approved before my son and I discovered that attention was required to address the delay. Apparently, correspondence between the lender and the university, clarity regarding approval of loan lender and amount to be declared, disrupted the transfer of funds. This, cascaded into a delay in my son’s education labs.
I called the lender, I was told to call the university? Taken back, why would I need to do the logistical legwork that the lender hub should be responsible for; especially, when the lender and university are much more versed in the lay terminology of the industry?
This creates frustration surrounding the lack of customer service commitment on behalf of the lender. If I am responsible to pay for services that provide revenue to a lender’s bottom line, at the very least the company should streamline the process. My son should not have to divert his focus to “approved” funds in limbo, he should be directing his energy towards his education.
This does not motivate me to provide positive word-of-mouth marketing to my peers. It sparked curiosity as to why participate as a lender within the university hub, when it does not facilitate the objective without creating ambiguity between the two parties in which it was created?

I don’t know why the government is allowing a private lending company for college loans to charge so much for interest. Maybe stop trying to pay off college loans and get these companies to keep their interest rates at a level that is acceptable for people to go to college . A $15,000 loan will be $75,000 after being paid off because of the 20% interest rate they charged.
At no point should the government allow the interest rate rates to be above 10% or more than 200% of the amount borrowed. Ridiculous how they’re abusing college students for needing to borrow money to get their degrees.
