THIEF AND SCAMMER (Malcolm Hungerstone): Owner of Core Of The Poddle

I would like to share my bad experience with this store and immediately denounce that the owner of this store named Malcolm Hungerstone is a thief and a dishonest person. On August 7, 2023, I placed an order for a record to be sent to Portugal and was asked to pay via paypal (like friends and family). I trusted the owner of this store and after I made the payment, he sent the disc. The disc arrived on August 23rd and remained at Customs until September 26th. Due to my postman's error, I didn't receive the notification at home, so on September 26th the order was declared cancelled. I was away at that time, so I didn't have the chance to pick up the record. As a result, the order was returned and was received by Mr. Malcolm Hungerstone on October 31st. Since then, after several email attempts, he mentioned that he was unaware of the whereabouts of the order, until he completely stopped responding to my emails.

Result: I lost the disc and lost my money because I paid via PayPal (via friends and family) advised by this man who could give me a discount on the disc if I paid in this way.

I just want to warn all future customers of this store, be careful with payments advised by this gentleman and his dishonesty. If he can take advantage of your honesty, he will move on. This was the only time this happened to me on the internet, being shamelessly robbed by a swindler.

If you read this comment, I'll give you the chance to give me back either the money or the record, because I'm not going to stop here until people on social media don't know all about how your store really works and your approach to customers.

AVOID AT ALL COST

Seen the outside of the shop several times when in Haverfordwest (did go in when ran by the previous proprietor). On Saturday as we had time to spare we went in and a pleasing surprise. Shop opened out, lots of vinyl records some good quality HiFi kit and a beer engine...
Lots of Music selection, not much current but for more interested audience absolutely brilliant. Including some rare collections (e.g. Cream concert of 2006), a few CD's.
The beer engine was connected to beer - brewed on site. Even does carryouts - beer by the box, circa 5pints freshly pulled when ordered.
Really takes me back to student Union days - Beer and Music - what more could a person's soul want?
